The “Chinagate” fundraising scandal plagued the 1996 Bill Clinton-Al Gore campaign and Hillary was very much involved. Chinagate aka Commercegate is the most serious scandal in U.S. history. It involves the transfer of America’s most sensitive technology, including but not limited to nuclear missile and satellite technology, apparently in exchange for millions of dollars in contributions to the 1996 Clinton-Gore re-election effort and the Democratic National Committee.

At the time I couldn't understand how this didn't end up having both of them on trial for treason and convicted. Why didn't the military do something about this? This is a direct threat to the USA, something they are there to defend and its a direct threat to military itself.

Why didn't the military do something about this?

Because if the military "does something" about the Commander-In-Chief, that is unconstitutional.

Impeachment is the Constitutional process for removing a president or any political official.

What you reveal with your comment is your contempt for the U.S. Constitution.

That is not what I meant ______;). They could have gone to Congress, made some serious charges to the press, etc. Why didn't they keep hammering the point to the population that the USA and it's citizens have been put at serious risk with this info now in the hands of China?

What you reveal with your comment is that you just make shit up when you have a thought.

I'm glad that a military coup is not what you meant. Unfortunately there are plenty of fascist assholes drooling to overthrow the Constitution & install "military rule" like Dick Cheney.

If you think that's "making shit up," then good luck to you in April 2017.

I apologize for losing my cool. I should have been more clear in my first post. For the record I'm a big fan of the Constitution.
