Why isn't Debbie Wasserman Schultz in jail?

DWS showed a clear bias in many instances during this campaign. I understand the DNC is a private entity, but she marginalized many thousands if not millions of voters, has destroyed the electoral process in many people's minds across this nation, especially young voters, among other things.

Can anyone explain the bottom line as to why she cannot be charged with a criminal offense, or is it still possible, (especially where California is concerned)? She doesn't really get to do all that damage and simply walk away, does she? Does anyone ever pay a price for destroying this country?

PS, If anyone has a concise answer to this question, I really would appreciate it. Also, Shultz is a DUAL NATIONAL ISRAELI citizen. Why isn't treason a thing, unless it's a whistle-blower?

I realize it seems like a naive question, but I'm honestly curious, and have been for some time. In article after article, there is no hint as to her possible arrest for a criminal charge of any kind. I guess I'm just weird in that I've got to know why this bitch gets to get away with it. I am certain her payoff will be spectacular, and when it comes, no one will even care. We are living House of Cards.

Well for one thing a lot of reporters seem to think that a person is completely innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, so until someone is convicted they will never say that they committed a crime. The news industry is always very careful to avoid lawsuits, even if it means they do not tell the truth.

Yeah, a private corporation; that's the problem with partisan politics. A better question might be why she isn't being held accountable by the board of directors rest of the democratic national committee.

Someone steals a candy bar at a convenience store and they will serve time in jail. Apparently destroying the democratic process of an entire nation isn't as serious a charge.

I bet it is for the same reason why Hillary Clinton doesn't get charged, or GW Bush, or Dick Cheney. There are a lot of people in DC who should be charged with crimes but who aren't.

I checked DWS facebook, and people are pissed. Lots leaving. My SO and I only changed back to Dem for the primaries... now we are waiting until she's chosen to leave the party. I'll never be associated with them again, or any party.
