The US is a special case, properly whip themselves up into a frenzy every 4 years! I don't trust Trump I don't trust Hillary so I would have to say I guess Jill Stein is the best of a bad bunch for me.
Thank you for your response. You probably realize a vote for Jill Stein is ultimately futile. I feel that the parody of this election is unlike anything seen before.
its futile if everyone believes its futile - you see how powerful the two state paradox is but the only way to break it is to vote for someone else, so really its all we can do. jill stein or the libertarian guy it doesnt matter who but we need to shatter the two party illusion
i believe that voting counts yeah. what i think we dont account for is the psychological grip they have on us where we think ourselves into saying nothing can happen. if the majority voted for someone other then the main two, even if they didnt let it happen as it were the uproar would be undeniable, the exit poles and the people would know something is wrong so really we are the ones that keep ourselves in this charade
you are right brother! but without fighting it and being vocal nothing will be done so im left with a choice, i either do nothing and accept or do what i can and hope for change. ill take the latter even if its not likely its better then doing nothing! thats how i see it anyway, we have the power we just got to be aware and work out how to use it
You can keep your head down and keep voting and waiting for that "change" they keep talking about...
Or you can wrap your head around the fact that you are being lied to by people who don't care about you, who are actually opposed to you, and you allow them to stay in power by supporting them and obeying their policies. Instead of laughing at the militias being railroaded by the mainstream media, or kissing every cop's ass that gets shot because people (of all races) are sick of the unaccountability and constant harassment- you need to realize that this is how the change will come about. Not by "voting" LOL.
Acknowledgment of something and having a solution are not mutually exclusive, I hope you realize that. But if you'd read my previous comment, I've given you a few suggestions to get your mind in the right place.
fantastic that you know how i think from a comment where i was talking solely about the US election and what to do regarding that. once my minds in the right place then what do we do
They're cheating already and it's being talked about.. alot.. By alot of people. This isn't going to be able to go on much longer. There has never been a better time to leave the party(s).
this is why voting helps even if it doesnt diretly, if the people know theyre being robbed they care, if they think they might be but cant prove it you get the apathy we have now
This election cycle is the biggest shitshow yet. Two contenders who are repellent right up front. One is a fiercely venal social climber, hand picked and vaulted into the nomination by a depraved aristocracy. The other is the depraved aristocracy, albeit masquerading as the embodiment of the electorate's coarsest elements. I've seen some outrageous shit in my time, but never anything like this. It is an overt provocation to rebellion.
Trump is interesting because he's a true political outsider. Clinton is also an "outsider" because she's a woman, at least that's what she says. Of course that's clearly ridiculous to any other woman politician that doesn't have the influence that she does to completly steal an election. The Clinton Foundation is a whole other ball of wax that needs to be investigated and destroyed, the lives lost because of it is staggering.
I favor Trump, 6 months ago I wouldn't have, and when he announced it a year ago I just laughed out loud. I ended up listening to him and he changed my mind, even with his tendency to speak without a filter. I do not think he is racist or trying to divide our country, in fact I feel he wants us to come together. I try not to buy into conspiracy theories, but it seems some are indeed legitimate and that is troubling. I do not dislike Democratic citizens, I actually feel like they are being screwed by the DNCs choice this time because of the blatant corruption. I also feel I should point out I'd have no trouble voting for a woman if she was actually qualified and had good policies for the country. I do not favor globalism, I instead see the world kinda like I see the United States, with each individual state governing itself the way they see fit, but with some overlaying rules that each should follow. It seems corruption is the biggest enemy across the world, if we could only rid our cultures of it completely.
As you can see I'm honestly not very good at being articulate, but I hope my point was made. Respect is the greatest thing we can give each other in all facets of life.
Your response is honest and refreshing to me, you underestimate your ability to articulate a complex issue into a paragraph of material. I do not favor either side of the political spectrum. Thank you for your insight.

Do you really think they would allow "someone else"? I am not promoting hopelessness, but if you play by their rules they are going to cheat.

I hear your message. I agree with you. My concern is that you underestimate ignorance.

but it helps, cant right it off entirely

It basically signs you up to be picked for jury duty. If you think the people in power would ever give it up, you are naive.

enlighten me then what do we do oh great one

Trump was paid his good friends the Clintons to pander to the growing moron vote and roll out a red carpet for Hilary to the White House.
