It's certainly drawing attention away from people talking about 9/11 but I seriously doubt it was intended as such because this is really damaging her political career.
I think the PTB were basically trying to see how effective a full-on manchurian candidate scenario could be best achieved, and how effective their current methods of propaganda (via media capture) are at facilitating said scenario.
It even makes the whole "Trump" thing make sense. Run a blatantly distasteful candidate (to much of the population, at least) against a blatantly corrupt candidate with seriously compromised health, just to see if the public can be sufficiently prodded by overwhelming propaganda into making a collective "democratic" choice - knowingly and begrudgingly - against their own best interest.
Yup, I think this false illusion of choice has been ongoing for a while, but in order to push Hillary (who is obviously corrupt) in to the white house, they picked someone much worse and then force people to make the choice. This way it seems like the people chose the corruption themselves, and we can blame the victim and keep one of half the country divided against the other half, instead of unifying against those who are screwing us all.
My wild prediction is that Wikileaks will release these damming emails, Hillary has a stroke or something and can no longer be in the race, therefore distracting the public from the dirt in the emails that doesn't just implicate Hillary.
What could she be involved with that would make her, essentially, throw in the towel for her campaign? Could this have something to do with her emails shenanigans finally gaining ground in the media? They can't put a dying woman in jail.
