Beware of those that refer to your ideas as making a subreddit look stupid...
2 2016-09-19 by HangoutUnlimited
I have noticed a pattern the shills are starting to use for a while now.
They will say something like "your making this whole subreddit look stupid".
It's a tactic being used to shut down your idea as well as anyone who might be thinking along the same line.
The voting system ( thought it's compromised ) is there for a reason.

Is this flat earth related? Coz that shit is wack yo
-4 HangoutUnlimited 2016-09-19
It was north Korea related and it questioned the propaganda you are fed about it from the lie system we live in.
2 sifumokung 2016-09-19
What sources do you have to indicate our picture of North Korea is not accurate?
0 HangoutUnlimited 2016-09-19
The fact that it's now proven that we were told these things by professional liars. So why should we trust anything they say?
2 sifumokung 2016-09-19
That's what I'm asking you for. Proof they lied about North Korea.
Have you ever lied? Yes. Yes you have. But I am willing to not treat everything you say as an automatic lie because I'm not a stupid asshole. I will, however, treat anything you say as a lie if someone proves it to be false.
So, what has been said in the media, or by your government, about North Korea that is true or untrue?
What has been said by the North Korean media or government that is true or untrue?
Compare those images and form a full opinion, not an assumption for which you are being grossly dishonest with yourself.

There's a whole theory that NK is the elites' secret playground. I've seen that mentioned a few times by people who claim to be "insiders." Someone posted in here a few years back and deleted very quickly the next morning - said the US would never hit NK for that reason. I wish I'd archived it, it was really interesting.

stuff like this makes this subreddit a collection of whining posts from poor babies who had one of their ridiculous post deleted.

No just stating a pattern.
In the last 2 months at least 10 shill accounts have used this tactic.
Giving people a heads up on what to look for.

What if the "shill" is right and the post is making the sub look ridiculous?
Judge an argument not by who it's from, but rather the content of the argument.

I think it's ridiculous that /r/conspiracy/ has become indistinguishable with /r/politics/ Every post is about Hillary Clinton.
-2 DrDougExeter 2016-09-19
It's none of their concern if the sub looks ridiculous. They need to stop trying to turn this into another mainstream shit hole where only mainstream-approved thoughts are welcome. We have enough of those already. If that's what they want they can go post on one of the billion other subs filled with plebs.

Well as someone that has watched this sub go from a place* of discussion and ideas about esoteric subjects turn into a cesspool of fear mongering, paranormal/metaphysical shit, and pseudoscience, I see no issue in telling people when they have dumb ideas.
It's funny you want to keep stuff from being silenced...by silencing people.
Edit: a word

It's just funny to me that you want to stop people from attempting to silence you and your ideas by...silencing them.
Place of discourse. If your argument is foundationally solid* and backed by evidence, you should welcome all to challenge it. It's an opportunity to teach others and/or learn yourself.
If someone calls your argument dumb, prove it to them it's not. But also keep in mind, you will be wrong about a lot of things you think you know. While teaching others, you must also keep an open mind to opposing ideas.
Edit: fuck I can't type on my phone

How were you able to ascertain these accounts were shills, and for whom did/do they work?
6 digdog303 2016-09-19
Meh, sometimes there really are stupid posts in here.
1 dejeneration 2016-09-19
What if...there are shills posting stupid shit here to degrade discourse and discredit the sub? Because I guarantee you that happens, too.

HangoutUnlimited, a serious question: are you planning to go to North Korea? It's definitely do-able.
1 HangoutUnlimited 2016-09-19
No... Just questioning every narrative I've been taught by liars .
1 sifumokung 2016-09-19
What answers do you have that validate your questions about North Korea?
0 Shifty_Dirtmeat 2016-09-19
Why won't you go?
1 HangoutUnlimited 2016-09-19
Not currently in my life plans.
-1 Shifty_Dirtmeat 2016-09-19
You're not answering the question. Saying "I do not plan to" is answering 'what.' I'm not asking 'what.' I'm asking WHY.
WHY do you not plan to move to North Korea despite the fact that they treat everyone better than America does?
1 HangoutUnlimited 2016-09-19
You didn't read correctly. I proposed a series of questions.
READ
You must READ the post.
But, I would go if I had the chance. Why not?
-2 Shifty_Dirtmeat 2016-09-19
I did READ the post.
And now I'm questioning your narrative.
If NORTH KOREA TREATS ITS CITIZENS BETTER THEN THE U.S. DOES, why would you not defect to North Korea? Do you enjoy being abused? Are you not smart, and that is why you agree to remain in the place where people are treated badly? Are you not smart enough to complete a move to a foreign country?
NOW I AM THE ONE WHO IS MERELY ASKING QUESTIONS
1 HangoutUnlimited 2016-09-19
You do know people go vacation in North Korea right?

I'll go and film it for you.
