It's weird that there is always a Redditor around willing to disagree with you, play devils advocate, muddy the waters, or call you an idiot.

I honestly believe in flat earth. I really do.

It's called diversity of opinion.
When absolutely everybody agrees on something... that's when things really get fucked up.

Like the frontpage? ;-)

spot on

It seems like that on some subreddits. Bad mouth Hillary or mention the wrong word and downvoted without question and people instantly start being straight MEAN. Hivemind is real on this site.

OP is a five-year account with no post or comment history past one month old.
Reminder: "With the Paul Combetta news being prominently featured on /r/conspiracy, prepare yourself for an influx of disinfo posts intended to make the sub look bad. I'm talking Flat Earth, UFO's, classic JTRIG techniques, please remember to visit the new page & upvote & downvote accordingly."

exactly
2 BeaversBumhole 2016-09-20
What makes you believe that?
-3 andredawson 2016-09-20
To be honest, I think there is overwhelming evidence. Research in the right place and I bet you get convinced too.
4 BeaversBumhole 2016-09-20
While I don't share your viewpoint, I respect your right to have it.
-5 flat-reality 2016-09-20
of course it's flat. why we are being lied to is the scary part
1 The-Internets 2016-09-20
But no one around to provide the same quality in all the other commonalities surrounding this "theme?" Yeah..
4 andredawson 2016-09-20
I have no idea what you said.
1 The-Internets 2016-09-20
Can you please elaborate, please wait...
-1 spongebobzombiepants 2016-09-20
Using big words like a politician....
Seriously, what I read is "no one around to argue OP's point of view, obviously OP is wrong."
1 The-Internets 2016-09-20
I mean... you're not wrong... fml
1 spongebobzombiepants 2016-09-20
I just meant that OP has a right to their beliefs, and you yours. I'm a round earther, but OP didn't attack my beliefs.we can all get along, and share ideas. Whether we individually believe them or not.
1 The-Internets 2016-09-20
Right, but then I have to wonder, if you didn't grasp that from the original comment enough to understand it, do I need to say..
Up until you try to enter the 'space' of 'them,' as in, would you respect the fact I wouldn't want you touching "my hypothetical-fictional lawnmower." In any way, for any reason, without first getting informed expressed consent from me directly? An then if you did get said 'consent,' would you respect the fact that if you had to get it the first time you should always ask the second, an subsequent, 'times(s)?'
I don't ask out of an "attack" or "hostile" stance, so to say, but "curious." If I didn't want to "share" "something" at all in any way would you respect that?
1 spongebobzombiepants 2016-09-20
Random question, are you a native English speaker? I believe I am having trouble interpreting your true meaning due to some language error.
That being said... Yes, an opinion will be respected, as long as that opinion is respectful of others. (i.e. be polite when telling your opinion, it helps non believers belive.)
And no worries if you do not want to disect flat earth anti-beliefs. I don't want to either.
1 The-Internets 2016-09-20
No, that wasn't the question. It was, would you respect the boundry I set if I told you I absolutely did not want to share "something" in any way.
1 spongebobzombiepants 2016-09-20
Yes. As long as it does not pertain to Hillary Clinton. Anything else, yes.

Injustice to one American is an injustice to all Americans.

You are a god among men.
1 sobertruth 2016-09-20
You are allowed to believe that.

Thank you. You passed the test.

It's weird how some of those that claim to be aware of what's going on behind the curtain behave as though they've merely swallowed a different shade of blue pill.
1 andredawson 2016-09-20
Well said.
1 ForresterQ 2016-09-20
What would it take to change your mind. Eg orbiting the earth in a spacecraft.
I need to admit my ignorance to flat earth ideas as I've read almost zero on the subject. Perhaps you could point me towards the evidence that you find convincing.

I think Eric Dubay does a good job. Check out what he says. He makes hundreds of good arguments.
1 flartibartfast 2016-09-20
Why are you polluting this place with banal stupidity? Go post youtube comments.
1 smashbro713 2016-09-20
You are an idiot if you think the earth is flat and you can't intelligently explain why.
1 andredawson 2016-09-20
See?
0 RAGEagnst_Machine 2016-09-20
I look at it like if I was really wrong about something, something fairly serious, then I would really appreciate someone correcting me and helping me find the truth.
I've had too many flat earth arguments now to start again. But once facts are tossed aside, it always boils down to a religious belief.
2 andredawson 2016-09-20
Religion has nothing to do with globe vs flat. It is known by somebody. Lot's of somebodies.
1 RAGEagnst_Machine 2016-09-20
I'm tempted to argue with you, but the post title suggests I should not....
1 west_coastG 2016-09-20
smart move

Look up concave earth. It is the only model supported by a mechanical geodetic survey, the rectilineator experiment.
