Witnessed something extremely strange on mainstream news, a story that disappeared?

Long story short: Caught FOX news either testing a story or accidentally covering future material for a US RUSSIA war.

So I was watching Fox today around...2:45. There was a story on literally...they were talking about "Russian plane shoots missile at US Navy vessel". I can't even believe this happened it was so weird.

So I'm sitting there like mindblown thinking that this is the start of a day's worth of coverage...massive press conferences... I'm like dude we are going to war. Today. They wrap the segment up and go onto some stupid wildfire story, and I'm like...woah, you don't just say "Russia shot a missile at us" and then walk away! So I google the story, and I find jack. Nothing. Only close thing is Russia flying close to us at certain times.

So here's what I feel like I witnessed. Whatever those anchors read off of must have been switched to next week's news. Either that or this story was snuck inbetween other boring stories to implant the idea of a US/Russia conflict even more, to subliminally infect our minds with these ideas so that when they become reality we reject them less.

I hope there's someone else out there who was randomly watching Fox today at the same time I was and saw this, or has witnessed something like this. Completely insane to notice it happen right in front of you.

See that's what I thought aftwards when I couldn't find it, but my girlfriend and I were both watching, they had one of those headlines up "Russia fires missiles at US Navy Vessel" like right below the anchors. So I wasn't getting lost in the talk.. it was legitly printed there as well. That was the crazy thing about it.

One of the anchors was like.."Obama is just going to let our navy look weak like he always does, what a joke"

I heard from a retired pilot that this is commonplace. It is used in training scenarios in the military. I agree though it is suspicious. Though we routinely train for quite possible future wars.

I do too. Very very weird. I thought surely it would be all over the place, they explicitly talked about these missiles being fired and I was just so stunned like... man...here we go, this is going to be everywhere.
