Honestly, it's truly hard to explain. Both could be written in a book format. What brought me back? No idea. I do have some theories, though. I come from a "elite" (I hate to say that) Slavic pagan bloodline. I've always been taught we were blessed. Not by the things you probably think of "god/angels/saints". My blood is the blood of the forest and forest folklore. I've recently began to research my heritage more (used to think it was just family myths - turns out there is much truth to it). Like I said, I could write a book about it, so a reddit post would do it no justice. I've been visited/gifted in my life ~5 times in my ~30 years here. Why? I have no idea, but my family history plays a part, I now know that's for sure.. Sorry to hear what happened to you and your family member...
