I have heard rumblings about it. That George Soros is all about it. That it's justified by the "never again" mentality applied to the Holocaust somehow.

I think it's an amazing testament to the folly of humanity that a group of people can be persecuted in full view of the world and then turn around and begin to persecute others with the gifts they were given out of consolation.

This is a sort of simplified way of looking at it- they were obviously pulling some strings and using the excuse for other means, but what the fuck. I think it's one of those ELI5 type situations that will make the average person at least start to question things.
