I found a leak of the mod logs of wikileaks by user /u/wikileaksleaks. I posted these to Wikileaks and was unsurprisingly banned for 90 days. The mod log shows that the mods who were there in Wikileaks were stripped of their permissions, which I remember /u/kybarnet talking about in other threads.

Sorry I'm really not great with figuring out the true meaning of all the mod logs, could anyone care to give a little run down on what all the "jargon" translates too, sorry for being a bit of a technical language moron, would be greatly appreciated!

When it says "set permissions +/- X,Y or Z" they are either adding or taking away permissions. The mods that have been there for a while had their permissions stripped so that CTR could take over the sub.

/u/here4popcorn has been adamant that I'm wrong and this isn't as it seems. I can accept that that may be the case, so I'll let him come fill us in. From what I saw myself, from out of nowhere new mods were added, and from these logs the permissions for particular mods were changed without any discussion.

They are there for damage control and to make sure any good leaks don't spread.

Anything relating to secret societies or satan warship they censor and delete.

They did it in DNCLeaks and they'll do it in WL.

OK, that's your choice, but I'm still interested to know what those concerns are.

The mod team there now all seem to have full permissions, bar the wikimod and the one who seemed to be involved in the latest drama.

I totally agree. One look at /r/politics and a discussion I had with two of the mods with that subreddit made it clear they were CTR trolls. Last time I checked it 192 of 200 posts were anti-Trump, any mention of Hillary was only positive and no mention of Wikileaks at all as if it wasn't happening...I have not seen any reason to not trust the mods here at /r/wikileaks but thank you to /u/here4popcorn I've seen his clarifications several times and I'm definately not seeing the stuff occurring here like in /r/politics. The mods that responded to me creeped me out. Edit: spelling lol I'm on my phone

I was banned for "spamming" despite being an active participant for like a year. I wasn't even given a warning, and the mods muted me for 72 hours for telling them. But whatever, plenty of other subs.
