Reddit Needs to Admit they've been Manipulating Perception

I agree, they're still censoring mentions of CTR on r/politics. They intend to make it all like a mass hallucination.

"Never happened"

They're afraid people will remember and move to other sites.

Some of us will. Most of us weren't even aware of it to begin with.

They are golems.

They are definitely trying to cover up that they let CTR have the keys to the kingdom.

CTR = CIA and all of you were facing psychological warfare.

Many posts saying CTR is gone. They aren't.

They absolutely aren't.

There's actually a White House spin team entirely focused on the internet, too.

We're constantly facing psychological warfare from at least one source. Hillary was extremely heavy-handed and clumsy with it though, I found Craigslist ads in my city for CTR-like efforts.

It was highly amusing seeing shills get exposed... or trying to influence opinion as an 'undecided voter' / then you run through their comments and see the same arguments... in another thread... all for Hillary. Literally the same sequence of doubts and hesitations to appear as if they're having genuine concerns ... some were fairly masterful tbf

Whats with your fucking name? Fuck you.

?

That a girl.

Seriously! It was disgustingly obvious. Those responsible to be held accountable.

notreddit.top

Accountable for what? Using propaganda to keep the existing party in power? Totally legal. Nothing to see here, move along..

No really, nothing can be done because they didnt do anything illegal. Wrong? Yes. What they did is deplorable on many levels. But they wrote laws to allow themselves to lie to you.

It just makes the media lose more and more influence.

The media shot themselves in the fucking foot.

CTR is just the tip of the iceberg. Lets not forget that corporations, the CIA, the department of defense, the FBI and probably every other agency with the resources maintains a strong online presence.

They do this not only for surveillance and monitoring purposes, but also to influence perception.

If CTR is here or not, it makes no difference, stay vigilant, think critically. Refuse to be divided.

Funded by our very own taxes, no less.

They ain't gonna do shit they probably just sit back and laugh at the fact that we complain but keep using it

The same can be said of The_Donald. Every post made there has thousands of upvotes, which - bots or no bots - has made /r/all borderline unusable for weeks. I really hope it tails off in the next few days.

Gotta start somewhere. Fuck your preferred winner, and intentions. My intentions are that people need to know they've been fucked with AS STEP ONE. The largest example being r/politics.

Nice little tempter-tantrum you fucking child.

Cunt

no, not really.

We need /r/politics to be full of shit. Otherwise they'll come here and harass US more. They've been irrelevant for some time now in my book, but I'm glad they are still acting like an informational tampon, absorbing the hemorrhage of common sense, the daily torrent of mealy mouthed nonsense and market parade of uncritical narratives

Spez denies it, too, as if we're all stupid. How are we supposed to fix the problem if he lies about its existence?

From his AMA, which is titled, "Hey It's Reddit's totally politically neutral CEO" (liar) where he then is asked the following:

–]ieatrox 618 points 14 days ago:

With the election around the corner can you please state in plain terms that you are not astroturfing content for any political entity or assisting those who attempt to? So many people here see a lack of a plain talk denial as an admission of guilt.

Answer, guilded:

Of course we're not.

While not required, you are requested to use the NP (No Participation) domain of reddit when crossposting. This helps to protect both your account, and the accounts of other users, from administrative shadowbans. The NP domain can be accessed by replacing the "www" in your reddit link with "np".

Damn straight.

The big thing I am hoping for with a Trump presidency is a pullback on censorship. Idk if that will be a policy of his or not, but it seems like it should be.

That'd be nice, but some of his statements lead me to believe it'll be the opposite.

The guy doesn't take criticism very well, either

Hes completely FOR the police state. One of the big reasons they let him win.

Yeah, but so is she.

Not much you can do to reddit except leave the site and try to convince others to do the same. While the shilling and vote manipulation should destroy their credibility it's not breaking any laws that I know of.

It goes beyond reddit. I mean, you're absolutely right, but reddit was just the edge of the focus.

That scrotum licker spez sold the fuck out. Fuck him.

Perception, shit... reddit has been manipulating reality itself.

Attack government schools if you don't like the manipulation of perception. They are a 100 times worse because it's mandatory, it's monopolized and they get the young minds while they're naive enough to believe in things like Santa.
