For one thing, Antarctica looks different on almost every map. Some maps (like one that I have hanging up at home) show Antarctica as this massive continent that could fit Russia, US & China inside of it. Others barely show it.

If you are trying to suggest that the Earth is flat, there is a simple way to prove it.

Go to New Zealand and take a picture of the North star.

If you can do that, I will believe.

If you can find them (they are hard to find), look at all of the photographs of earth available and compare them. Notice how the continents shift around - sometimes North America takes up the entire photograph, other times, it is small and Africa takes up the entire photograph. The ever changing sizes of continents in these "photographs" proves they are not real. Additionally, when comparing these photographs to the flat earth map presented you will notice anomalies in the size of continents.

You understand that there is not a "Take a photo here" spot in space, correct? The varying shots are taken from different distances form the Earth, different angles, all kinds of variables. That will greatly change the "shape" of the continents (not in actuality, just how they are perceived by the camera).

I agree. the Globe pics from NASA are basically the Mercator projection stretched over a ball with a few clouds added in. in truth if you'll just look up in the sky on a given day you'll notice that pics of Earth should be mostly clouds.

I've read up on this flat earth theory and the only thing I can't figure out is why this has a been a cover-up. Can anyone answer? I don't understand what the conspiracy is that this would be hidden. I'm currently being trained as an topographic land surveyor and I've been told by my trainer that there is no such thing as an accurate map. There is simply to much information on the surface of the earth to adequately convey everything. Maps are specific in what particular area or thing in which they were created to illustrate.

That's not real science. Take a high-powered zoom camera and it becomes quickly obvious that ships do not disappear off the horizon from bottom to top. There's a plethora of evidence from people seeing cities, buildings, landmarks, and ships in the ocean miles and miles away -- when they should not be visible according to the supposed curvature of the earth.
