We take it for granted we do this sacrifice to Lucifer, in a metaphorical way, everywhere. Not only cultists in their misappropriated sense of power derision. If you look at everything in that way, of a sacrifice, our religious genesis's are ingrained in the very things we do with our lives and how we perceive it.

There is always a sacrifice for action. There is a fear and a consequence for everything in reality. Knowledge, is what you experience. So there is an ingrained perception into experience that there must be some sacrifice for having that experience.

I think living without a set of written rules would be absolute chaos for probably many years. You would most likely only see pockets of "utopia", and those would exist for the shortest amount of time before being decimated from either within or without, based on the nature of man that's been defined in the past zodiacal ages. A major shift in human consciousness and self-healing/self-reliance needs to occur to even realistically think about having a chance for anything better than a "The Road" scenario if the curtain finally falls on the present global society.

In any group there's always going to be those at the top, by virtue of IQ, luck, strength, etc. Some of these people will due to their nature take advantage of that position. How else can it be? Wanting everyone to be equal is useless, since we're not. If somehow decent, noble people happened to land at the very top of the heap, it would only be a temporary position. Soon enough, they'd be replaced by some corruptible others.

If we think the present situation is bad, in the sense of achieving a sort-of balance between good and bad, just wait until genetic manipulation allows the elite to essentially become supermen compared to the masses. Viewed from that POV, I guess we still have it good.
