The only solution is to rebalance power so the citizen and the government become one. This way everyone just holds some power but not enough to destroy the world.

The problem is that as long as these positions of massive power exist, the Mafia will find a way to infiltrate it. The best part about these power seats is that it's all secretive so they can get away with damn near anything. Look at them now. They've been sacrifice babies at the alter and eating them for God knows how long. Some of these mobsters might not even be entirely human.

I seriously think we need to rethink this whole society. It's a new age and the old order is dying. We should not even give the opportunity to hijack massive amounts of power to begin with.

We will figure it all out. If there's a will, there's a way. A good place to start is by plugging everyone's mind into the system through a mass voting system on every policy. There's a lot of moving parts. It's no easy task to jump ship but I'm certain this will happen one day in the future no matter how long that might be. The sooner the better.

You want to scare the powerful? Talk about land distribution. They know all wealth and production comes from the land. If everyone had a slice of land they could work, with a decentralized currency, we would become the most prosperous and least corrupt society ever. This would also limit the need for a government to basically jeffersonian republic size. They would still be needed for contract enforcement and law enforcement, but much of the pretense for taxes and more government would be gone.

If you replaced the word "mafia" with the words "utter bastards," I'd be right there with you. Unfortunately, so long as those types of people exist, they will find ways to have power. Removing positions of such high authority is just treating a symptom rather than the disease. We need people- all people to want to be better.

They already do, but need the symptoms treated. Healing starts with relief of symptoms, a cutting away of the dead, to allow for the natural process to take place.
