If memory serves, Stewie is the foil of the show. Since he's a baby, he's able to say things which are on the writer's minds, without having an overt reason to do so. Has anybody actually sat and watched Family Guy? Just for a second ignore the cheap jokes. At least the Simpsons had thematic lessons and stuff. This show had absolutely nothing to offer to anybody other than crudenes...which is fine for...adults!

I'm not old-fashioned. I get kids are going to find stuff and watch stuff they aren't supposed to. But when you have a 6 year old regularly watching Family Guy (or the like), it will have a deep impact on them.

For some reason this generation seems to believe that nothing has an impact on them. They think they can watch murder, rape, pedophilia, etc. And that there is no consequence.

Well, the consequence will be with this upcoming generation of children who cannot feel for others. They are completely desensitized.
