Yeah, Russia is a conservative Christian nation. They don't like the gays. However, I'd like to believe that the Russian people are facing many of the same realizations that we are and that public opinion will change as things progress. I don't live in Russia and I'm not subject to their media, ideals, and government influence, but I believe that they've taken baby steps toward acceptance recently and there isn't exactly a human rights crisis going on over there.

As for China, no, I can't say that I do but I imagine it's similar. Maybe worse, maybe a lot worse, which is the whole reason I brought up the fear that I feel in regards to my sexuality as a response to the possibility of them "coming thru."

Hence the whole "I hope there's a spiritual revolution and we learn how to coexist" thing that I said.

I had a pretty good laugh reading this. But I wouldn't want to see a nuclear war btw the US and Russia.

For one thing, there would probably be a fair bit of warning before the missiles started to fly. That means the top people would have plenty of time to get to their luxury underground installations and ride it out.

Think about what that would mean. The richest and most selfish fuckers in the world would also be the ones guaranteed to survive a nuclear war.

They spend a couple of years underground waiting for the rad levels to go down. Then they come out and have everything to themselves. I'm sure that 90% of everybody else would be dead by then.
