I own a popular pizzagate related website and I see to be getting a lot of Ukranian hack attempts.
573 2017-01-17 by [deleted]
Anyone else getting this? Are there just a large amount of hackers located in Ukraine trying to hack Wordpress sites, or is there a political motive behind this?
EDIT: So wait a minute.. You guys are telling these "hackers from Ukraine" could be absolutely anybody? Hmm..! Remind you of anything?

Wasn't CTR part of the Clinton campaign? Why are you assuming they're around?

nice try. blocked for being ctr

You're either a troll or very paranoid. I hope you work it out.

Half of your comment history is insulting reddit users, the other half are calling for the assassination of the president elect. Interesting.

How how cute I got a reddit stalker. Would you like a cookie?

Lol you're so right... we're like soOoOo stupid for believing in it. Almost as stupid as the people who don't believe Russia had anything to do with our election!! All of the circumstantial evidence that's been mounting the past few months is totally fake, and that's why the mainstream media won't address it properly right? They only address "real" news right? lmfao k bye
n/a proROKexpat 2017-01-17
Russia did influence our election
n/a trollingtrollers 2017-01-17
Yeah, and Hillary raised all $500mil+ of her donations from non-foreign donors.... gtf...
n/a proROKexpat 2017-01-17
I bet lots of foreign money was in the election. Doesn't mean Russia didn't do their part to influence the election.
One thing about me
I hate Hillary
I hate Trump
I'll happily throw either one of them under the bus any fucking day.
Lets put it this way if had a choice to save either Hillary or Trump but I couldn't save them both I would walk away and let them both die.

n/a Flat_Earth-Fat_Girth 2017-01-17
idk if you know this but there was a community awhile ago that got shut down here.
Wasn't anything like pizzagate, it was a community of people creating a counter narrative and arguing that our politicians are criminals. Entire private sub banned and majority of users forced to delete user accounts. Same sort of thing, threats. Users with numbers changed, it's government.
n/a Pdelic1 2017-01-17
Shadow Government
n/a Flat_Earth-Fat_Girth 2017-01-17
They control it all, every soldier in their books. Don't forget it.
n/a freedmason 2017-01-17
The things you always knew happened when you try to cross evil people in the government. They start doing evil shit.
n/a XanLV 2017-01-17
The heck is this? 1337 hax0r larping event?
So the shady peepl are making fake accounts preceded by "ru" to make public threats? Not, like, contacting on the website or sending a private message?
People, I get it, but this is ridiculous.
n/a errantdashingseagull 2017-01-17
It's absurd. Either u/pedosta created the account to post false threats to himself to add drama/legitimacy to his claim that Ukraine has some interest in Pizzagate, or someone sympathetic to his message decided to do it for him.
n/a XanLV 2017-01-17
I hate the most that people who claim to be intelligent seem to fall for it like nobodies business.
I feel like I could do the worst Jewish impression saying schmuck and inserting hebrew symbols and everyone will lose their minds about Israel infiltrators.
n/a Horus_Krishna_5 2017-01-17
Ukraine was CIA couped and CIA would like to quiet talk of pizzagate but that's the only connection I can see
n/a XanLV 2017-01-17
Except it wasn't written by a Russian or Ukrainian. I wrote a longer response to the original.
n/a Horus_Krishna_5 2017-01-17
why does he say Ukrainian hack attempts then
n/a XanLV 2017-01-17
OP says Ukrainians are attacking him.
Then someone appears in thread.
What I am saying is that the guy who appeared in thread and pretended to be a foreigner is neither Ukrainian nor Russian.
n/a Horus_Krishna_5 2017-01-17
yeah not sure who appeared in the thread I was just talking about the main story from OP here
n/a XanLV 2017-01-17
Reread the whole thing I guess. This is a conversation in direct response to someone pretending to make "threats".
n/a Horus_Krishna_5 2017-01-17
the troll got scared and deleted his stuff so it was a little hard to tell
n/a XanLV 2017-01-17
Hasn't deleted his stuff, just his account. But I see what you mean.
"Stuff is deleted" is what you see.
"He probably deleted it" is a more or less safe assumption.
"The troll got scared" is unfounded imagination without any reasoning behind it.
n/a Horus_Krishna_5 2017-01-17
definitely got scared, given the context
n/a XanLV 2017-01-17
Alright, why not, lets follow this path.
Got scared is your idea. Can you base it on something? (This could turn into a pretty long comment chain, as I plan on doing the Socratic method, meaning that I ask simple questions and I hope that I get simple answers. So that nothing can be hidden from our view in huge walls of text.)
n/a Horus_Krishna_5 2017-01-17
why don't you, I mean him, log back in under a new name and explain himself
n/a XanLV 2017-01-17
I suppose this is a joke that falls flat.
If you have nothing about this subject, it is ok. I'm just saying - thinking the account was deleted out of fear is completely unreasonable.
If it was not a joke and you think I and him is the same person, feel free to continue this line of thought.
n/a Horus_Krishna_5 2017-01-17
it's a good idea to mock him and trick into coming back and exposing himself more. I dod suspect you're him cuz there's no good reason a legit guy would come to his defense.
n/a XanLV 2017-01-17
Alright, that is a good argument. Someone randomly has come to someones defense.
Alright, I could agree with this. Only... Defending him against what exactly? What threat was made against the original poster?
n/a Horus_Krishna_5 2017-01-17
just going nuts with the damage control
speaking of Socrates, I'm a gadfly
n/a XanLV 2017-01-17
What damage? There has to be damage to be any sort of damage control.
Now, what we got so far is a guy who made a threat, then deleted his account. Then logs in from another account to claim responsibility and have a laugh. at the shitstorm.
My theory during all this: "Someone pretending to be CIA to scare gullible folks. Deleted account because a) wanted to appear spookier or b) some sort of Reddit auto-moderation on new accounts."
Your theory: "A troll making a threat, then through an account XanLV calling himself out, then deleting his own account because he got scared of something and then logging back into the XanLV account to keep discussing the situation with one man to... To..." I can't even understand why. What damage and what control.
Do you see the problem? And not to be insulting, but every Rick and Tim considers himself a Socratic gadfly.
n/a Horus_Krishna_5 2017-01-17
lot of damage control in this thread
this is marked down as true due to it
n/a XanLV 2017-01-17
Alright, well, that is that then.
The only thing you need to consider something to be true is to be utterly and completely confused by it. Solid.
n/a Horus_Krishna_5 2017-01-17
would be best for CTR to just go away, any thread where I see them going nuts I mark down as factual and printscreen it for use later
n/a XanLV 2017-01-17
Just for my curiosity (and not to mark you down as a target or anything), how big is your CTR folder and how many screenshots does it have?
("Enough to put you all in jail' is not a number btw)
n/a Horus_Krishna_5 2017-01-17
few hundred
n/a hadhad69 2017-01-17

n/a freedmason 2017-01-17
No. It's quite obvious what happened, and that not it at all. That's not even a remotely realistic conclusion to jump to given the evidence.
n/a arbitrarysquid 2017-01-17
you do know which sub you're in, yes?
n/a MistahPudding 2017-01-17

n/a aveydey 2017-01-17
He already has made a police report and a video of his experience posted to Voat after being threatened by someone else.
n/a MistahPudding 2017-01-17
Oh this is the gear guy? I thought that was a different person. Thank you for clearing that up for me
n/a aveydey 2017-01-17

No. It's a different guy.
n/a aveydey 2017-01-17
Ah, my mistake! Thanks for correcting me.

n/a sper_jsh 2017-01-17
Well this is a pretty strange comment to make.
n/a XanLV 2017-01-17
No worries, people. It is completely clear that the broken English and "ru" is designed to fool us into thinking the man is a foreigner.
Now a quick 101 for everyone who wants to spot bullshit on pretend foreigners. Whenever you see a text like this in broken English, look up a native speaker of the "supposed" language.
Each language has it's own set of rules so people from one language would make the same mistakes in other.
You see, in my language there are 2 genders. So whenever someone can't tell the difference, I suspect they are native English speakers. If they do see a difference but don't know which is which - it means they can see the difference, just haven't memorized the genders in my language. Same goes for very many rules I won't go in detail here.
Now here you see a "perfect privacy and inmotion" which could be a hint of a wrongly translated expression or an awful direct expression. Problem is, there is nothing like this in Russian. "Perfect privacy" translated directly is not something that makes any sense in Russian. (Also talking about Ukranian here, which is a little different, still.) If the guy would have said "cool hidden", yeah, that makes a sense as a direct Russian translation. "Perfect privacy" does not. And if we suppose he used Google translate and failed miserably, this is not the case. Google translate would not give out a non-word as "inmotion".
And, after all this, he gets the "maybe you should be more careful" perfectly correct. "should be" is a strange phrase which, while is not difficult, is not something from the mouth of a Russian.
Basically, while this is all shit, always remember to ask the native speaker of the "supposed" language if he can recognize the mistakes. And this ain't the "work of a government trying to discredit". They'd know better.
n/a rndme 2017-01-17
Where's the broken English?
n/a XanLV 2017-01-17
Well hot diggitty dang, thank you. Edited my comment.
n/a PastaDominos 2017-01-17
Hey man, good run down but I was just larping.
Perfect privacy is the whois register for pizzagate.com and inmotion is the web host (also from whois).
It's funny watching these paranoid schizophrenics generate a whole narrative with 0 evidence though 😁

But I don't give a fuck about mason and Horus you know. Just some people easily triggered.

Fuck, man, I don't. What the fuck is actually happening?
n/a freedmason 2017-01-17
I think he's showing us the move with plausible deniability (I was demoralizing them!) Save that screenshot he posted of the mutli login screen.
n/a XanLV 2017-01-17
Alright, so instead of "one kid messing around" we have a CIA agent who is actually lawful good, but is recognizing the evil that his government makes him do and is now trying to expose the awful deeds and warning this community by making threats and in the same time confessing to them? Because I can see that.
n/a freedmason 2017-01-17
Probably not CIA (although it's possible). My guess is DOD, they do most of the internet trolling.
n/a XanLV 2017-01-17
How can you deduce which one is it?
n/a freedmason 2017-01-17
Probabilities. DOD has a huge budget for this, and has been busted doing it in the past.

Also, for your next plan I suggest you *mess up the formatting"בְרִ
Random Hebrew symbols can blow up a whole lot of "you-know-what" type of websites. Better link to somewhere and have a filename with those symbols or something.

n/a XanLV 2017-01-17
This ain't a laughing matter I'm afraid. A comment has been made on the internet. I wish you'd take this a little bit more seriously.
n/a hadhad69 2017-01-17
You're right, now how do i paste a screenshot in to Google maps? This whole thing makes me think you know about places that hackers might use. Some people are saying DOD in this thread. I don't know about that but I do know there are pedophiles in the world so it makes sense they would post about it on instagram.
Truth, maga, fake news.
Learn and open your eyes folks, this is real and is not fake.
n/a XanLV 2017-01-17
Of-fucking-course I know about hacking places. I once installed the Tor browser without any help and I almost never leave the house at all.
so what you want to do is not to encrypt files. All encryptions have these things called "bugs" and they make holes through which federal agents can crawl through and deencrypt your file.
What I would suggest is that you find a person who you can trust but who knows nothing about you. (I would suggest a bank vault, but you know who owns those, right?) So you get that person a radio. Something made by Russians, not Americans. And not China, because, well, you know, right? ;)
So you get that radio and get yourself a radio of the same manufacturer. That way, when you speak into your own radio, the other guy can hear the transmission. But do not speak into it. Instead turn the screenshot into the Binary language, originally used by Binarians, I suppose, but now it is a hacking tool. That way you can send the whole picture over the radiowaves. Binarian is harder to decrypt and consists of ones and zeroes, so they won't make the radiowaves too heavy. That way you can transmit the whole picture.
I would agree to listen to it myself, but people in this thread suspect I am CIA. Maybe I am a sleeper agent, I am not sure, but I wouldn't trust myself with that sort of information.
n/a freedmason 2017-01-17
Haha! It's so funny to threaten people's children! Yuck yuck yuck!
If you're DOD, this isn't going to be laughed off. You're way outside the boundaries for US operations.

Lmao for that you do not need a domain. Domain and the website content are 2 different things. Domain just points to the web host. However if you really want to add more info I suggest contacting the owner or asking him editor rank on the website as WordPress has easy CMS system for information management.
n/a 2-DRY-4-2-LONG 2017-01-17
I would still need the domain because its awesome? If i want i can use copy the source of pizzagate.com and create my own website and polish it like that but it would make no sense because pizzagate.com would still be up and running

n/a blurtard 2017-01-17
Is it possible for someone here in America to hack someone and make it look like it came from Russia?

Very easy, which is why I don't believe the CIA when they say the hacks came from a Russian IP address. Hell I change my IP Address to come from Australia so I can get games hours before they release in my country.
n/a blurtard 2017-01-17
Hmm interesting. I've also been reading about a supposed Obama led coup in Ukraine that led to the Russian intervention in Crimea. I wonder if he has state actors orchestrating these attacks from there.
n/a ocelotking 2017-01-17
VPN tunnels are possible to decrypt actually, many sites like 4chan won't even let you use a VPN and comment.
n/a freedmason 2017-01-17
Yes. And the name of that "someone" is the CIA. This fits directly into their "OMFG Russian Hackers" narrative they've been pushing.
n/a bananawhom 2017-01-17
People who question the Russian hackers narrative may be Russian hackers themselves.

Every web site gets constantly bashed with crappy hack attempts. The source is misleading because it can always be a proxy/vpn, or more likely a hacked host. You hack one worthless website and use it as a proxy to hack everything else.
n/a johnyutah 2017-01-17
Exactly. I have a small business and I just had to redo my website because it got hacked and completely wiped...
n/a Gooberbooberq 2017-01-17
Don't believe in nightly backups eh?
n/a johnyutah 2017-01-17
Luckily I do 2 backups. They wiped the backup that the hosting company provided... I have my own Google Drive backups as well, but I recently changed my password a couple months ago and forgot to change it for the backup. So it's a little outdated, but nothing I can't sort out.
n/a OptionalZebra 2017-01-17
What's your business? Is it something controversial in anyway or were the hackers just complete cunts? I guess it wouldn't surprise me if people do things like that just to be cunts. Most people are cunts is what I'm getting at.
n/a arbitrarysquid 2017-01-17
People definitely hack websites just to be cunts. I had a personal website of my photography based on a photo gallery script I found at sourceforge, and it got hacked one day, although my hackers were sort of benevolent and didn't trash anything, just made the initial page different and left me a text file showing me where I had weakness in security.
n/a OptionalZebra 2017-01-17
Seems like that was sort of a beneficial hack, providing the page wasn't too hard to return back to normal, which I doubt is the case?
n/a arbitrarysquid 2017-01-17
it was easy enough. so yeah, it was beneficial in that it let me know I had a security problem, but that could be said of any hack, really.
could have been much worse, for sure.
n/a OrchardGhost 2017-01-17
Some hackers are just decent people trying to help. Some others replace Handy Manny with hardcore porn.
We live in a weird world.
n/a johnyutah 2017-01-17
Not contorversial in any way, although I should be more careful not to link my online opinions with the same account I promote business with. People get upset over anything. Probably just cunts.

US Psychological Warfare in Ukraine: Targeting Online Independent Media Coverage
n/a ruleten 2017-01-17
In web development, bots have existed forever. Most of them come from USA (u probably dont notice and think they are legit), Russia, or China.
This has long since been mitigated by most professional web developers by using Cloudflare, a program that allows you to ban IP ranges of whole countries or individual IPs of repeat offenders.
This is nothing new and likely doesn't even have anything to do with your niche/subject matter.
I take it you are new to looking at your own web traffic?
n/a TheMadRocker 2017-01-17
I use stop forum spam for a gaming website I admin. Those not auto banned I manually check to verify who or what is signing up before allowing access. I'll then add the IP and such to the database for future users if I'm not satisfied with the results. Doesn't really take long.
n/a Gooberbooberq 2017-01-17
Lol
n/a target0 2017-01-17
Could just be someone sitting behind a vpn anywhere in the world. If its a hack attempt I figure they would at least do that much to cover their tracks.
n/a jasenlee 2017-01-17
By default I block traffic from China, Russia and several Eastern European states because so many hacks come through those areas of the world. Maybe OP is getting hit because of the nature of his site but I'd wager it is equally possible that it is just standard hacking. Those fuckers will try and hack a site about yoga positions if they can.
n/a vecowski 2017-01-17
It's generally just bots owning and spreading, especially for sites powered with Wordpress or something similar.
n/a Lonecrow66 2017-01-17
I get 250k hack attempts per day - AND I've already blocked China and Russia - so this is just the rest of the world.
n/a Making_Butts_Hurt 2017-01-17
Are you considering port scans hack attempts, in other words what's the minimum to be considered a hack attempt in your book?
n/a simcowking 2017-01-17
250k hacks a day? Probably a page load
n/a mayan33 2017-01-17
when I worked at lockheed - we were getting, IIRC, ~70k request a minute to our servers that were serving things like FTP...
n/a Bonteq 2017-01-17
How do you do this? Blocking traffic from specific regions?
n/a jasenlee 2017-01-17
My hosting provider (DreamHost) has a ton of free tools they give you to set it up and block traffic from certain regions along with a bunch of other useful stuff.
n/a Desecration29 2017-01-17
What's to keep a person from hiding behind a vpn or even a VPS/RDP that's been hacked in the USA?
n/a 2many2Toss 2017-01-17
It's more like Ukrainian cybercriminals are constantly trying to compromise wordpress blogs so they can put up phishing websites. It's usually a lot easier than setting up a new site from scratch.
Any wordpress blog owner is going to have this problem, unfortunately.
n/a RGBPeter 2017-01-17
Ukraine has very lenient cyber-crime laws (compared to the EU and Russia) and the chaos created by the civil war raging there makes it a popular end point routing location.
I highly doubt the hacker are actually located in Ukraine. They just use the infrastructure there seeing as the infra was well developed (pre war) and the risk of getting the hacked traced back to their physical location is minimal. ( Some bodies from the MH-17 crash still haven't been recovered. Do you really think authorities are going to risk artillery fire and armed rebel check point to recover sever records?)
n/a adambellford 2017-01-17
This exactly. I'm living in Ukraine for a moment.
n/a RGBPeter 2017-01-17
Not living in the Luhansk or Donetsk regions I hope?
n/a adambellford 2017-01-17

n/a Love-rent-e 2017-01-17
The ones that bombed the crash site with artillery was the ukrainian army.
n/a TheHumbleLibertarian 2017-01-17
Wordpress sites always get hit by these kinds of attacks. Most of the time it is done by bots so the IP address for the source of the attack doesn't mean much(could be via TOR or VPN). Chances are the source of the attack is also a hijacked computer, router, or IoT device that is just part of the attackers botnet. Generally these kinds of attacks are just looking for common vulnerabilities and misconfigurations found in Wordpress sites.
n/a 2many2Toss 2017-01-17
Do you own any other websites? They're probably trying to break into anything and everything that they can.
Wordpress sites are are very, very, very common target. Usually not because they want to see anything you're running, but because they are trying to compromise your server and use it to host phishing sites.
Cybercriminals often use google tricks to find wordpress sites and then try common exploits as a quick way to host a phish.
n/a justinsayin 2017-01-17
Ha!
I run 60 WordPress web sites for clients. Russian hackers have always tried all night long to hack in. It's just where the hackers IPs originate and always has been.
Tossing up the plugin Login Lockdown seems to help a lot.

n/a Treebeezy 2017-01-17
To be fair, a lot of people in Eastern Europe are always trying to access my wordpress site, too.
n/a TorontosaurusHex 2017-01-17
This is normal.
I run IT security in a small company. Any open server we have (and a few of my private VPSs) are seeing hundreds of hits a day, mostly eastern Europe/China.
This is just par for the course man.
n/a pabbseven 2017-01-17
Really? Thats crazy, didnt expect that amount of hacks in general to be honest. Is it just bots? What are they after?
n/a Clopernicus 2017-01-17
I think most often they are looking for opportunities to set up spam servers.
n/a mortonifi 2017-01-17
Everything on the public internet is attacked daily somewhat at random. Bots crawl the internet looking for easy hosts to pwn.
n/a TorontosaurusHex 2017-01-17
Most probes I see are on standard service ports (22 for ssh (remote shell access), 80 for http, 443 for https).
For ssh, they'll always try to log in as "root", "admin", "news", "games" accounts (and then go down the list of other general names).
When it comes to URLs, they're mostly looking for php consoles and other admin login screens.
Sometimes they'll get funky and try to enter with less standard services (nagios, zabbix).
Other times, they'll send malformed packets on purposes (think like this: they try to establish remote connection and then send a packet that's not supposed to come next in the sequence).
The way this works, they don't really target me specifically. They just run mindless probes and scans of thousands and thousands servers on the internet, so they try to set up the broadest set of most common used names/services and they hope that they get lucky.
If you're interested in this, go to http://shodan.io. It's a search engine for other servers. You can see weird shit in there. I get regular scans from shodan's own hosts every day against my servers. I also get some research facility from Berkley (never cared to look them up, because they can't get in and I assume they're the good guys just mapping the web).
n/a truthforchange 2017-01-17
Yep. It's called having a website whilst looking at logs.

n/a Thr_owawayAccount 2017-01-17
Just like the Ukrainian Hackers who attacked the DNC!
n/a zachster77 2017-01-17
You should create a honeypot on your server and see what they do. Most WP hackers want to deface sites and spread their propaganda. If you let them in, you can find out who they are.
Make backups of everything, obviously!
n/a Fizzdizz 2017-01-17
Sounds like the plot to mr. Robot.
n/a Gooberbooberq 2017-01-17
FYI almost all hack attempts on WordPress are automated from botnets of other hacked sites and don't give a shit what your site is about. WordPress is a piece of shit, so is joomla, druple, and any other cms that uses php code to write other php code. The real purpose of these hacks is to send email spam and occasionally use the site as a platform to serve even more malware to your grandma.
n/a fjortisar 2017-01-17
If it's a wordpress site, expect to get enormous amount of bots hitting it, trying to exploit it, no matter what the content is.
n/a freespeechburner 2017-01-17
Ukraine is an aggregation point for traffic. Lots of hackers route through there, and if you're using WordPress that's why you've attracted attention.
n/a Ecanonmics 2017-01-17
This is normal.
n/a BigAlBerry 2017-01-17
Or it's made to look Ukrainian? Wouldn't your first order of business be to hide the location your hacking from?
Also, wouldnt a hack lets say from within the US hide its location also and say it's coming from a more questionable location?
n/a uppitydownity 2017-01-17
lol
Every IP address is getting scanned/targeted with exploits all the time, just background noise.
n/a sfMAGA 2017-01-17
OP, is your site a self hosted or hosted WordPress site? If so, be aware WordPress is the worst platform to host a site on unless you're diligent in keeping it up to date. There are bots scouring the web looking for WordPress sites. When they find one, they try different exploits known in whatever version it's running.
I've had phishing attempts that lead me to a page hidden within an unsuspecting host's WordPress site. They create a page on the user's site that hosts a fake Google/DocuSign/FB page to get you to put your credentials in. That's one example of how WordPress can be exploited.
Just my thoughts.
n/a exicleus 2017-01-17
Probably proxies.
n/a AtHeartEngineer 2017-01-17
Ukraine has a very dense population of hackers...And WordPress is an easy easy easy target. WordPress is about the worst option you can pick. It's easy to scan for Android easy to attack.
n/a agathocles 2017-01-17
By hack do you mean brute force a password on SSH or something similar? If so, then no this is normal. Bots from all over the world are constantly trying to brute force low hanging fruit.
n/a ohiothrowaway1 2017-01-17
Look into Clinton connections to Ukraine and this makes more sense.
n/a le_meme_master2 2017-01-17
I like how the top post in this thread are 'just sure' it's routine hacking, and definitely not related to pizzagate at all.
n/a fjortisar 2017-01-17
Because if you admin any systems or sites, you know this happens to anything exposed to the internet.
Buy a domain name, set up a wordpress site and expose it to the internet. Then you'll know why it's normal
n/a mortonifi 2017-01-17
Because that's actually a well informed opinion by professionals that do this sort of thing. Whereas I can tell that you don't by your uninformed opinion. Real recognize real.
n/a dudeofedud 2017-01-17
Yeah, I had it with my father's business site that I manage too. According to WordFence security it comes from 'Russia' (East Ukraine) but it could also be VPNs or 'casual Ukrainians' doing it to make it look like it is from occupied East Ukraine.
But why would they just try to brute attack every WordPress site they find by most basic username and password combos which is admin & something, if they were Russian government-based and wanted to get some real data?
n/a dudeofedud 2017-01-17
P.S. You made me want to return to WordPress related developing stuff...
n/a Kclawes 2017-01-17
I manage about 300 Wordpress sites daily. They are constantly getting hit by bots from Ukraine ip addresses. You're not special.
n/a snapper1971 2017-01-17
I own a photographic website that is subjected daily to Ukrainian hack attacks and has been for years.
I have also been hacked by the FBI, CIA, MI6, MI5, Mossad and Al Qaeda. Hacking is a popular past-time all over the world. There are even subreddits dedicated to the practice.
What's your point?
n/a YourMomsaHoax 2017-01-17
How do you monetize a site like that?
n/a expensive_wino 2017-01-17
Wordpress has a pile of vulnerabilities that are in the wild. You're being probed to see if those vulnerabilities exist on your Wordpress instance.

n/a soberreflection 2017-01-17
I've heard that there are a lot of TOR exit nodes there. There are other possible reasons that I'm less sure of too. Their internet infrastructure may well be particularly susceptible to hijacking. There may be a popular VPN there. There may just be a higher than normal quotient of hackers there.
n/a Synchships 2017-01-17
How does one find out if they are being hacked? I built my own pc, and for security sake I'd like to learn more about encryption and setting up a VPN. How do I know if someone's trying to access my information? And info would help fee free to pm or reply hear! Much appreciated

But I don't think for a second that Russia is da good guys.
