We have some of the best universities in the world that draw top minds from across the world. Blocking all people from entering the country to live work and study here would end that.

The 7 countries that had immigration suspended for 90 days were countries selected by Obama's administration. I am not sure why the current president stuck with these same countries, but with the way the media demonizes his every action I can see why he may be a bit tentative to change the status quo of "dangerous countries".

Have you ever considered the idea that allowing them into your country is not directly about terrorism but adding more breaking points which can and will be instrumentalized by groups when appropriate. Minimizing that risk sounds mighty smart to me in the current age.

Seems we'd be better off banning people from places like Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar, and UAE rather than the ones we've chosen if that were really the concern. Since so many of our terrorists have been home-grown I fear what this supposed 'minimizing the risk' approach will mean for American citizens in the future.
