A bit new to all of this myself (I actually just made a post to the effect). 1- you are no alone 2- you are not stupid 3- yes it is hard to deal with some times; I've had a couple of minor sobbing break downs and some serious marital strife because of this shit and the extra stress. But I'm adjusting and I think leveling out even though it kind of stays in the back of my mind.

As far as the opium goes, yeah I think it's true. I e been learning more about Iran contra and the CIA in general and the shit they do is beyond belief except that there is good evidence for a lot of it. The important take away for me is that the CIA doesn't really exist for our best interest. It serves the banks and the military industrial complex.

Pretty sure I've developed at least one or two symptoms of schizophrenia since discovering this sub amd related forums.
