CTR and shills creating fake "pizzagate" conspiracy theories around the country to bury it
81 2017-02-15 by Tunderbar1
You've all seen the various attempts to create fake new "pizzagate" type accusations in this sub and others.
There are starting to be a few news stories about fake new pizzagate conspiracy theories. Just google "pizzagate".
Seems like the strategy is to create all kinds of obviously fake and obviously ridiculous accusations. Basically strawmen. So when anyone looks up pizzagate, they will see a wall of obviously crap accusations which will bury the actual pizzagate facts.
Confusion and disbelief ensues.

You mean they took a break from trying to vilify anyone even associated with or stands behind Trump?

A good muddy signal to noise ratio is standard operating procedure.
Muddy the waters and sharks swim unseen.

Voat will be no different than reddit.

Hmm... so they've shifted strategies from outright denial. I guess that's progress.
Pretty hard to minimize the ongoing low level arrests across the country. Perhaps related to minimizing those developments too. Fucking google is now the lead Alphabet agency.

It is so easy to create diversions and fake leads. Then you have people who honestly go barking up the wrong tree.

Attack ideas, not people
Calling people ctr does nothing productive. Discussing ideas is very productive. If you have a problem with their claim, argue against it. If your claim is valid and theirs is not, then it should be easy to shut them down. However, if you're worried about your claim not being valid, it makes sense to limit discussion opposing it...

What would you call the guy who posted this crap?
Call him what you will. His post is grade a bullshit.

Yeah, upvoted comment that is a misdirection in a thread about misdirection? Man we just live in a time of confusion. Is he a shill? An idiot? Is he just trying to be helpful, and his intent to keep a civil discourse?
Who the fuck knows. Stay frosty girls and boys.

How is my comment misdirection? I'm promoting discussion of both sides.

Can you link to an example of what you mean? I think that would really help everyone understand what kind of point you are trying to make.

Someone posted links to alleged videos, on voat or 4chan. Can't find the link right now. Looked pretty suspiciously set up to add a lot of silliness and absurdity to the issue. Someone affecting an accent similar to Podesta sounded made up.
My point is that pizzagate looks crazy but plausible, especially with the people that have been identified as directly involved like Alefantis and his friends on social media, and his direct and unrefutable connections to the Podestas and Clintons.
But now, we are seeing some posts and news stories making seriously silly and unverified allegations that appear to me to hold absolutely no water whatsoever. These stories are intended to make all allegations like those in pizzagate to be seem really out there and absurd, and if there are enough of these different absurd stories out there, pizzagate will disappear in the middle of the absurdity.
