who is TSCC?

I had to Startpage it myself, it's 'the so-called church', mormons (not the Thoroughbred Sports Car Club of Northern Ireland. I'm pretty sure this attitude is prevalent in all the major Ahbrahamic religions though since Christianity was perverted away from it's original Essene Gnosticism roots.

that makes sense, thanks. Google came up with some really weird options.

Terminator: Sarah Conner Chronicles? Pretty sure OP didn't mean that :)

lol, I didn't want to say it but yeah - that was the top result.

loved that show.

it's original Essene Gnosticism roots.

Oh not this shit again.

Nobody asked you to like it.

It's just a false idea based on popular bestselling books from the 1970s that were completely ahistorical.

First of all, the Essenes were not the first Christians. Second, the Essenes were not Gnostic.

Most importantly - the Essenes were not the peaceful hippies the popular fiction from the 1970s made them out to be - quite the opposite. They were violent, fanatical, xenophobic fundamentalist Zionists.

So you've read all of the Gnostic Gospels found in Qumran for yourself? Or did you just read this on Jesus-Woohoo-Hallelujah.com?

Oh my god ...

First of all - the Gnostic Gospels were found in Nag Hammadi - in Egypt. They are from hundreds of years after Qumran.

The writings found at Qumran are called "The Dead Sea Scrolls" and have NOTHING at all to do with Gnosticism or Nag Hammadi.

Yes - I've read both writings.

The sheer ignorance of people is just astounding.

Yes - I've read both writings.

How did you manage to be so ill informed about them then? That's just weird man.

LOL - nice try IntellisaurDinoAlien.

You didn't even get the LANGUAGES right!

Try actually learning some FACTS for once:

https://infogalactic.com/info/Nag_Hammadi_library

The Nag Hammadi library[1] is a collection of Gnostic texts discovered near the Upper Egyptian town of Nag Hammadi in 1945. ... The buried manuscripts date from the 3rd and 4th centuries.

https://infogalactic.com/info/Dead_Sea_Scrolls

The Dead Sea Scrolls, in the narrow sense of Qumran Caves Scrolls,[notes 1] are a collection of some 981 different texts discovered between 1946 and 1956 in eleven caves in the immediate vicinity of the ancient settlement at Khirbet Qumran in the West Bank. The caves are located about 2 kilometres inland from the northwest shore of the Dead Sea, from which they derive their name.

The consensus is that the Qumran Caves Scrolls date from the last three centuries BCE and the first century CE.[

You are SIX HUNDREDS YEARS OFF and two different languages.

Which book was it that had the Sumerian Annunaki in it though? I always forget that part. Oh, that was Enoch I think, was he Essene too?

Sumer - yet another completely different culture in a completely different place a thousand miles away and over 2000 year prior.

No, the Biblical character Enoch was not Essene - that character is from a thousand years prior.

You're not very good at this are you?

Clearly my PHD in Comparative Religion and Philosophy was a complete waste of time. It always nice to fact-check these things with a true scholar though, an actual bone-fido knower. Isn't Gnosis short for knower? Are you a Gnostic too?

Yes, apparently is was, since you can't even get the basic facts right.

Goldsmiths, University of London. The only part you apparently where you were wrong was about the Annunaki though, they had spaceships. Rookie error or were you just testing me?

gnostic gospels are good read the gospel of judas is woah just woah

The Gospel Of Thomas was an eye-opener too. Jesus was a player? Whoah dude.

i havent read that one yet i will def have to

I'm that good husband you've been waiting for. Can we make a baby now?

I know it seems like a loving and caring environment, but it's not. Run, while you're young and free. Get a freakin latte and RUN! I jest, but seriously, flee that shit before your married with children and really feel trapped.

Probably want to make it clear you're talking about Mormons

baby factory

What a misogynist thing to say. Why do you hate women?

Well, here's the secret that everyone knows: You determine your own value and life purpose along with your own spirituality. It's your life. It's your choices. No matter how dark and backed up against a wall you feel, it's your life. Always think about what YOU want because NO ONE else will. It'll be a difficult, but liberating.

Always think about what YOU want

Yes! Always be as selfish as possible and only think about yourself, never anyone else!

Way to make it extreme. I didn't write 'only you'. Have fun being overtly extreme.

A woman sarcastically referring to women as "baby factories" as some sort of passive aggressive swipe at men and "sexism" is just as stupid as passive aggressive men referring to themselves as "sperm donors" as a swipe against feminism.

What the hell is wrong with people when they are in revolt against their own perfectly functional and healthy reproductive system?

Are modern Americans just so narcissistic that they actually resent bringing new life into the world?

I guess it's good in a way - I hope the anti-natal anti-family people just never reproduce and die off. Clearly there is something wrong with them genetically, the human race will be better off without them and their poisonous anti-life negativity.

the meaning of life is making babies.

The meaning of life IS making babies, for both men and women. If people don't have babies, the entire species dies off. Good god what the hell is wrong with people these days?

grow spiritually

How is that possible with people who appear to not even have a soul to begin with? Just selfish narcissists only concerned with themselves. Spiritual growth is not possible for these people.

lol, I didn't want to say it but yeah - that was the top result.

loved that show.
