What worked for me was meditating everyday for like 6 months and 6 hours a day with a lot of weed, using divination methods like I Ching and what you read/think of before you sleep is very important.

Interesting, I've astral projected before and had this mall dream twice, it always stuck out to me, my friend also has strange dreams and she had the mall dream once too. Another common dream we had when we were a lot younger was that we were lucid and had big angel like wings and started to fly over a city and everyone in the city turned against us and were trying to shoot us down with tanks and everything then we woke up.
