Beware of Your Digital Footprint.

It has been proven multiple times now (Snowden with the NSA leaks and now Wikileaks with the CIA dump) that there is no longer ANY privacy.

Please be aware that anything and everything you do is being watched by Big Brother (can we bring that back?)

Be aware of what you do because everything is stored for their benefit. There is no such thing as encryption or anonymity.

Ask Ross William Ulbricht about it. Everything can and will be exploited.

With that in mind be aware that you are leaving behind a pretty big trail each day of information for them to compile on you.

It is not paranoia, it is fact.

note to self.. "stop looking at gay porn"

No, look at more gay porn. Make your traffic blend in with the republicans in congress.

"We though we found a new user, turns out it was Newt Gingrich all along"

Remember to always delete all the info off your phone before going through customs, and to instead fill your gallery with pictures of your dick. That way the agent has to scroll through tens to hundreds of pictures of your dick.

Why not my crusty asshole? Like a digital flip book of me farting?

I've always suspected this, but now we just have proof.

I always found this interesting. They create a profile of a person based on browsing history, but that's a very small portion of some people's lives. If I live an otherwise magnanimous life, working with elderly, building homes for habitat for humanity, volunteering at animal shelters, but every day I come home and look at porn, the only part that makes it to the profile is the porn.

So much of someone's life can be separate from anything involving the internet and those aspects of someone's personality would be absent from any dossier created from our metadata.

Something that's always bugged me a little

Well any travel is also logged into your "docket" as well as any expenses that you do digitally (as in with a card or phone). They know your job, your family, friends, everything.

Very, very few people just use the internet for porn. So instead it's based on your collective internet history. Facebook. Twitter. Reddit. Myspace. Whatever you use, it's part of that profile. What you email. Who you call, when, where you go, especially if you have a smart phone. They know what you listen to, what you like to watch, where you spend money - everything.

If you do all those things, volunteering and whatnot, there's probably record of it in some form of communication or social media, somewhere, if not the actual location data from being around other people simultaneously who posted of doing those things.

Ross wouldn't have been caught if he didn't advertise on a clearnet forum that he signed up for with a legit email address in the early days of silk road.

Didn't they catch other only using Thor tho? I could be wrong, and I'll correct it if I am.

They've caught pedophiles by seizing servers and using an Adobe flash exploit to break the tor protocol an ID people.

The FBI recently dropped charges so they didn't have to reveal the exploit.

I will stomp where I please, big brother be damned.

Just wondering how much mayhem we could cause if we all gathered in a synchronized effort to start babbling shit at our androids, I-phones, all our devices that they listen in on...do it every day, for say 21 days (the time alleged to break a bad habit! hahaha!) at set times across the world - would we cause them all to stroke the fuck out?!

Say if everybody at HIGH NOON on DC time all chanted one very loaded caustic phrase while looking at Government Web Sites!

This isn't partisan! This is all of us across the face of the Earth!

They have AI for that. Pretty sure you have to hit a certain threshold to get a body assigned to you.

Are you saying humans cannot overload AI?

Realistically, no unfortunately.

Well then we have to find a back door, right?!

Where there's a will, there's a way.

Wiki....pedia?

LOL sorry honest mistake. Fixed.

Side note: Don't think you can just rely on remaining anonymous by volume. Yes, there are trillions of bytes bouncing around every day, but those bytes don't just vanish when their job is done. If you get pegged for some offense in the future, real or fabricated, "anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law." That should be amended to read, "anything you have ever said can and will be used against you in a court of law."

The cost of data storage drops every day, and the ability to mine useful information is growing more refined. #ImaDataScientist

Def not a side note. This is very important. They have copies of EVERYTHING.

The largest internet backup database!

You can't hide from The Digital Cartel.

da gubment found mah memes noOoOo

Once they stop agreeing with those memes and everything else you post it won't be as funny.

It's funny that freedom of speech is dead. I should be able to post as many Hitler Did Nothing Wrong memes that I want no matter whether I I believe they are true or not.

Since there is no I in CIA, we should wait till they develop strong enough AI.

See, ayyyy!

Ooo rekt

Encryption is still fine, nothing in the leaks has shown modern encryption is broken.

Keep in mind the system can be compromised, but that's no reason to stop using encryption.
