List of wealthiest organizations. Bill Gates "Foundation" 42.3 Billion | Bank of America: 2.1 Trillion | Catholic Church richest organization on earth: Unknown | I guess this is why the world is so poor.

They just keep vacuuming up the money even though they don't need it. Bank of America made billions just from $35 draft fees over the past 10 years. I guess 2.1 Trillion wasn't enough for them.

They take, take, take, and then everyone wonders why the economy continues to get shittier after every recession for the past 50 years.

All religions are bad right now. Practice your religion at home with your family and friends.

Spirituality is much more important than religion IMO

I agree.

i try to live my life by a simple motto dont be a dick to people

I prefer the mantra of: 'Do what thou wilt and do no harm'

It's my personal take on the Thelemic mantra of 'Do what thou wilt' which in itself dictates each person should find their True Will or purpose in life and prioritize it above all else, including but not limited to one's personal desires, that of others or any limitations of society or societal norms. Unfortunately, some choose to interpret this as a justification to do whatever one pleases in hedonistic fashion with complete disregard for others, which could hypothetically be applicable in certain instances, but misses the core meaning of the law, which is again to determine one's higher purpose, that of your HGA and higher self, your True Will, and to make it a reality. To that, I add the Hippocratic oath of 'Do no harm' as I believe one should avoid causing harm to others or interfering with their True Will and their human rights whenever possible.

Yep, nothing will change, EVER, whilst money is GOD

for sure fuck these guys. but inflation would be absolutely out of control if they didn't hoard cash.

True but that doesn't mean the current system doesn't have major flaws. Money is General is a flawed system though.

How so? The money is already in circulation...

Because the money isn't actually circulating.

If X represents all the money in the world, its value stays the same regardless of who's bank account it resides in..

Value is dependent on availability. The Honus Wagner trading card market isn't impacted if someone finds 100 of them in a shoe box, but if they offer those 100 for sale the price will collapse. If banks sit on 10 trillion in cash with no intent of moving it, the 10 trillion doesn't affect the value of the dollars you and I use for cheeseburgers. The cash might as well be in a shoebox under some old lady's bed.

It's a lot more complicated since banks aren't actually holding cash. The point is their money and regular money aren't moving in the same markets so we don't see the inflation we'd expect from loose fiscal policies.

Some say the Rothschilds actually own the papal purse.

The Jewish Encyclopedia says so. They are also the "guardians of the papal treasure".

Remember, all roads lead to Rome, and from Rome they all lead to Tel Aviv.

They know better than you! This is evident given how they've solved the world's problems.

Can anyone actually make a serious argument that it's a positive thing that these entities are so rich?

Perhaps one is ... General increase in shareholder value if it's a bank, and so the citizens actually increase their wealth.

They might also say it's good that the Vatican is so rich because they can use the money to help the poor, and probably the same with Bill Gates.

That's my bet for the apologists.

Vaticans don't help the poor. The Vatican is exactly like the clinton foundation. Self profit.

The property of Queen of England has never been audited. Nor is she required to pay any taxes.

Very little of this money will be held as cash. Those values are for assets of varying liquidity.

Still a few Trillion more than the common man.

I'm not even sure if the Catholic Church knows how much money it has at this point.

Does the humanitarian work by Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation not mean anything? Not a doctor but I think eradicating polio is a good thing.

If the money is printed and owned by a private entity, it's in circulation. The only thing that changes the value of X is printing more money. Me withdrawing a large sum of money from my savings account and spending it doesn't cause inflation, because the money was already printed and accounted for.
