On the topic of them evolving back, id just kike to add thats not how evolution works. Its all random and then those outcomes that are favorable preside over the rest. So while dinosaurs may have evolved and become dominant, if theres a meteor that wipes out all of the large dinosaurs. Well these smaller creatures are now more efficient and different forms of their ancestors. They're going to continue down a completely different path.
While thats true, i dont think it discredits the fact that evolution exists. If you admit that dna is going to randomly mutate at times, well its obvious the random mutations that happen to be beneficial are going to emerge victorious.
The dinosaurs covered up the path behind them as they went. Classic evade capture survivalist technique, which is proof they're still alive.....somewhere
Was totally a joke. The smaller creatures (now more efficient) couldn't go down the same path as the dinosaurs (extinct not being that efficient, unless you're shooting for entropy) I jested the real reason the smaller creatures couldn't go down the dinosaurs path was because they covered it up...so as not to be followed.
No problem. You don't seem too dense. I immediately thought the same as you on the whole discussion. Can't compare an obsolete evolutionary path to a successful one much less expect the successful one to do a 180 and pull a "lemming" off the evolutionary path. Interestingly, lemmings are very closely related to the cave mouse that survived the meteor impact....go figure
Huh TiL thats actuslly pretty interesting. Its really weird hearing about animals that have been around for millions of years and havent changed much just because theyre so efficient.
Yeah..they're so efficient that even if lemmings are trying to follow the dinosaurs over the cliff of extinction they can't seem to do it. Pretty hilarious actually.
They were finding dinosaur bones for thousands of years of human history, but didn't know what they were. Some people even believe the stories of dragons originated from people finding intact-ish dinosaur skeletons.
Science didn't come to the conclusion of dinosaurs until the early 1800's. the first mass market dinosaur toy, old timer the brontosaurus, didn't appear until 1924. None of that make any sense from a business perspective.
Where do you think the stories of fantastic beasts and giants came from? People tried to come up with explanations for gigantic bones they found that didn't match anything they saw.
How do you explain things archaeopteryx which was formed by the impression of dinosaurs

Dinosaurs aren't lizards...
I got a kick out of this, but aren't there paleontologists in Asia too? Aren't they digging up bones?

Where do you think the toy dinosaurs are made...

No dinosaurs were found until about 1800 according to mainstream science/history.
That's a bit fishy isn't it ?

Did the toy companies bury the fake bones at the excavation sites as well?

Ah, give a man a dinosaur, he learns nothing. Teach a man to dinosaur and he can t-rex walk for a lifetime.

I found a fossilised femur of a camel in Nevada. It was dated at about 300,000 years old. So, is it all fossils? Or just dinosaur fossils?

There are no dinosaur bones. They are fossils or cast of fossils.

They could build pyramids but not think about animals?
