I just find this sub has gone overboard political. It was ok up to and at the election but now its non stop politics. Once in a while would be ok as politics is conspiracy but now its every 3rd post.
I would just hope that if that certain shill organization disrupts so much, that they get banned for Rule 4 if they harass so much. I have seen this type and I would agree that they add far less to the conversation than asking them if they are shills. It's one thing to advocate for support or civil disobedience of the President, for instance, and another to make discussions toxic, like what I believe happened in r politics. I think mere pittances were offered to buy up those moderator slots, and in doing so they drove everyone away, myself included, to places like the Donald of all places! They could have had actual discussions of all sides of politics, a usually very complex topic. So I agree on that.
Witch hunts are bad, but sometimes there are really witches. Discussions here, of all places, are complex, people don't follow guidelines as if they are in school, and though I believe shill inquiries shouldn't be deleted, mods should moderate as if mediators and delete bad comments, but only if they are indeed attacks, as Rule 10 states.
Politics aside it always amuses me that people lament the old days of the conspiracy sub when it was just bantering about Aliens which was obvious disinfo. Now at least real serious shit like the International Pedophile rings are being discussed. Which is what all the Alien crap was about to begin with. To keep you occupied with that instead of digging into things like this. But now that were digging into real conspiracies that matter your seeing this sub, and all of Reddit being flooded with paid shills.
Banning the one asking if someone is a shill seems pretty weak, and no counter arguments are ever given.
You're not getting it. Nobody "asks" if you're a shill, nobody would admit if they were. Its a personal attack, It doesnt further the discussion at all.

Calling somebody a shill is just a different kind of censorship. It's painting someone with a label in hopes that everyone sees it and ignores everything that person said.. why trust him? He's a paid shill. It's not pro-censorship to support speech that encourages discussion. It's pro-speech. If I'm trying to have a debate or discussion with someone and there's an audience watching and one person keeps standing up yelling "shill!!!!" every time I talk so nobody gets to hear the points I'm making is it pro-censorship for that person yelling to get kicked out?
