Okay, seriously I'm starting to get sick of seeing all this Trump-Russian conspiracy stuff all over Reddit, but what the fuck do they have to hide? Trump administration sought to block Sally Yates from testifying to Congress on Russia.

Shes an Obama loyalist an openly refused to enforce a lawful executive order. There is no reason to trust anything she has to say.

How are the two in any way related?

Trump team has every reason to suspect she'll be less than honest in her testimony. It makes sense for them to block her at this time.

How is it okay for the subject of an investigation to block testimony?

I didn't say that it was okay, just that it makes sense.

that's not how it works, you let her testify and then nail her for perjury afterwards.

If they don't think her testimony will be truthful then why don't they let her take the stand and perjure herself?

The executive order in question was later determined to be unlawful by judges, the authority on the law in this country. This is why Trump replaced it with a new executive order. You should instead say "an executive order that was lawful in my opinion".

There's no final ruling on his original order just a stay pending appeal. Not appealing doesnt count as a ruling. Identical to the stop and frisk in NYC, city still has appeals to exhaust if they want to.

the authority on the law in their district

exactly

then nail her for perjury, why have such a sleazy looking run around and cancel hearings?

openly refused to enforce a lawful executive order

the courts twice deemed otherwise. i'd say sally yates was on the ball there.

Courts with equal standing ruled it was constitutional. Orders are stayed pending appeal. Stays are not rulings.

fair enough, still the optics is that yates is right, trump admin wrong.

We have phsyical proof in the form of letters that were leaked after the WH lied about this.

Why are you so desperate to defend his administration?

it's a cult

that's an easy and convenient explanation... but it's not the truth.

The truth is, this is r/conspiracy. This community is dominated by conspiracy connoisseurs. Many of us have excellent research skills and enjoy debunking conspiracy theories. the Trump-Russia conspiracy theory is extremely weak. I don't think you'll find a whole lot of people who have dedicated much of their lives to deciphering conspiracies who subscribe to the Trump-Russia nonsense... More often, you'll find people who have dug so deep into it that they've discovered the real conspiracy, a conspiracy to create the Trump-Russia conspiracy theory and a propaganda campaign to push it into the mainstream.

if you think it's weak, sure.

I don't think it is, I just see a bunch of people with connection to Russia, and a bunch of people lying about their connection to Russia.

have you ever seen the media work so hard to prove something to you?

you know how I know it's probably true, when all these people keeping caught lying.

usually people don't lie about stuff that has no consequence.

I'm not here to argue nor defend trump/co. I'm just letting you know that my research, which has been quite extensive and at a high technical level, has led me to believe that this is a hoax.

Also, why the hell do we hate Russia, again? When did they become enemies again? Why is our media and government trying to push us to a new cold war? Answering these questions have led me to a much larger conspiracy theory and also completely dismissed the Trussia silliness.

post your research, I mean no amount of research is going to explain why a whole bunch of people lied about their connection to Russia.. and it's not Russia, it's the lie.

I have posted the research. I'm also not here to promote these crowdsourced endeavors.

I'm surprised you're in r/conspiracy and you're not aware of the enormous amount of crowdsourced research regarding the Trussia hoax...

I'm not aware of the lies as I don't follow politics so much as shadow government activities.

spez: Why I am here is to point out that "it's a cult" is an obscenely stupid thing to say about people who doubt the official narrative that's propagated throughout every single mainstream media source.

I'm surprised you know the research and don't know a bunch of Trump's people lied and resigned over their relationship with Russia.

willfully ignorance? I would like to see the research if you want to link me though.

I don't really pay attention so much to the "state." Who cares about that stuff when we've never had so much insight into the deep state?

Here's a quick rundown post I shot to the echochamber over at T_D, https://np.reddit.com/r/The_Donald/comments/61jx4s/we_have_the_best_autists_dont_we_folks/

That's an overview of ONE major breakthrough we've had in the last couple weeks... If you want to get involved, I can help you but I would suggest that if you're not an IT professional, you probably won't be able to dive any deeper than that quick rundown... We're working on getting it together for public consumption.

So you some sort of super researcher and fact checker who admits to not following any of the Trump Russia evidence but purports to know that it's all fake anyways. Thanks for proving ow willfully blind you are. Keep fighting your crusade against the deep state, while this country is taken over by treasonous traitors.

Thanks bud.

While you're chasing "why didn't they disclose petty crimes of greed and why are they all friendly with Russia" we'll continue to worry about why people are trying to push us into WW3 or a cold war or a civil war...

Keep worrying about WW3 that won't ever happen no matter who won. Russia's military is like half as powerful as the US. Decades of Cold War tension didn't produce a war and nothing will in the future cause of mutually assured destruction. Keep chasing Russian propaganda narratives designed to blind you from actual happenings in the world like Putin installing a Puppet President like he did in Italy and Ukraine before this.

this is poe's law right? all of this is satire right?

m just letting you know that my research, which has been quite extensive and at a high technical level, has led me to believe that this is a hoax.

Wrong. KremlinGate deniers don't use their "research skills" to look into KremlinGate and fact check, just like they don't for Pizzagate. They use nothing but deflection and ignorance skills to keep their narratives going.

is there any reason to trust what Trump loyalist have to say then? then that's the point if we can't trust what anyone says.

You're getting it now, you shouldn't trust what we say or what anyone on here says. Everyone has a motivation for their post.

We don't trust what you say, we look at the evidence, and then your words and sources and judge from that.

Also, biggest thing is that most conspiracy theorist don't trust the media, which is pushing your narrative with force on Reddit.

Entertain the idea that you are like everyone of us here, without concrete evidence. It's conspiracy.

if I remember correctly, she didn't refuse to do it? she said she want to talk about it more and then was let go.

unless I remembered wrong.

The lawful executive order that was denied by courts and judges twice? Such an Obama loyalist. But I'd be an Obama loyalist too when the alternative is to be a Russian loyalist.

If the only crime she has committed is being put in place by Obama, what makes any of Trump's nominees less corrupt, wouldn't they just be Trump loyalists?

They're boring as fuck with that Trussia shill. After all, what's wrong with some world peace here and there? God forbid US and RU be allies. It sounds like some zionist or muslim ploy of devide and conquer. Oh, wait, it actually is.

A country that jails protesters and murders political dissidents. Sounds like a real great ally.

And Israel is a real ally? Israel uses the USA like an old whore. They are a PARASITE, and the reason we have endless war for their benefit. Any country would be a better ally than Israel.

A-fucking-men. I am in no way an Israel apologist. Not sure what your point is, though.

deflection, running out of excuses.

His point is you can not want to work with Russia and other countries. Saying you don't support Russia doesn't mean you support someone else.

also, allies don't attack another ally's ship and try to pass it off as a false flag

https://www.thoughtco.com/the-clinton-body-count-4056792

Analysis: "The Clinton Body Count," a paranoia-laden relic of the Clinton-hating '90s, was resurrected in 2007 to coincide with Hillary Clinton's bid for the presidency. The widely-circulated text insinuates that several dozen "friends" of the Clintons, some of whom conceivably possessed incriminating information about the former First Couple, died under "mysterious" circumstances — i.e., were secretly done away with.

[...]

Why is it, we must also ask, that special prosecutor Kenneth Starr, who spent years and millions of taxpayer dollars attempting to dig up dirt of any kind on the Clintons, never handed down a single indictment pertaining to these alleged murders?

The answer is plain — because the accusations are hogwash.

According to an article by Philip Weiss in the February 23, 1997 issue of The New York Times Magazine, the earliest version of the Clinton Body Count was authored by Indianapolis attorney Linda Thompson, founder of the right-wing American Justice Federation. The list originally contained the names of 26 alleged victims, though it has grown, and shrunk, and grown again since then, with some variants boasting over 100 names.

James McDougal - Friend and business partner of the Clintons, died of a heart attack — not an apparent heart attack — while serving time on a fraud conviction. McDougal had a pre-existing heart condition. Prison guards placed him in solitary confinement after he refused to take a urine test and failed to provide him with the medications he kept in his cell, according to a subsquent investigation.

No foul play was suspected. ("Report Details McDougal's Final Hours," Houston Chronicle, 14 September 1998.)

Mary Mahoney - "One of the first interns to work at the Clinton White House," according to her family. Not one news source reporting on her murder suggests that Mahoney, a lesbian, was poised to claim "sexual harassment in the White House." She died of gunshot wounds along with two other Georgetown, DC Starbucks employees during a botched robbery attempt on July 6, 1997. Per police investigations and a written confession by the killer, Carl Cooper of Washington, DC, Mahoney was shot while struggling with the perpetrator over the keys to the safe. A witness corroborated that Cooper had been planning to rob the Starbucks for at least a month before the crime occurred. ("Starbucks Police Affidavit," Washington Post, 17 March 1999; "Solving the Starbucks Case," Washington Post Magazine Live Online, 3 March 2003.)

Snopes ...

i mean, i gave you another link. and snopes is fairly substantial. do you have a disagreement with the links i gave? i mean, i started going down the list and you could easily disprove them. i'm not going to do all 45! i have a life you know? even if my excessive redditing might indicate otherwise.

LOL. "Snopes..." That's just your way of saying I don't want to listen to facts because they hurt my narrative.

as if the USA doesn't jail protesters?

Russia is like a parasite, and you're saying "oh can't we just get along??? GEEZ GUYS that little worm in your brain just wants to hang out and have some food, no biggie!"

Russia does not have out interests in mind, and in fact, probably wants to see us fall.

I wouldn't trust them as an ally, and neither should you.

You are a broken record.

No an Argument

Yes an argument.

Its also a great point. This sub has been invaded by anti trump morons and we're sick of it.

That may be, but the sub was invaded by pro Trump morons, long before that.

Fuck Washington Post. If people on this sub don't get off the MSM's nuts, it's done for.

Fuck them for posting those letters showing proof of what they reported. They need to stick to fake news with no proof!

Washington post is owned by the same man who covered for jimmy saville. It is not insane to question their motives. Especially considering propaganda is legal and their contract with the CIA. However this is all political theatre in my opinion. It is a huge distraction employed by both sides in agreement so we don't talk about the active wars we are engaged in right now.

Everyone in power has skeletons. That doesn't mean you ignore proof when provided just because someone else did something else. I hate Comcast, but if someone makes a great show on NBC, I'm going to watch it.

Maybe if you did anything but comment about Trump, you wouldnt be sick of it.

Trumps response tells me all I need to know. "Obama spied on me" oops, no he didn't. Actually, your people were caught up in incidental collection because they were talking with russian diplomats that we were watching. now its "hillary and bill are the ones you should be investigating"

The term is distraction and redirection, and you only do it if you are trying to take the eyes off of you. He had every reason to buddy up with Russia and they had every reason to help him get in. When all is said and done, we'll find out he sold out his own country for a share in the state oil company or that major russian state bank the US sanctioned.

Republicans need to just do a proper investigation and the democrats need to stop getting out in front and making it look like a liberal witch hunt. This country deserves to know if its president is working with another country to get him elected for monetary favors, which is really what this looks like. Republicans, democrats, libertarians, we deserve better and trying to cover it up like its nothing, when its pretty obvious he is, is doing a disservice to any real patriot. If he's innocent, I'm sure the republican majority in congress will rightly figure it out during the investigation.

What a hypocritical post.

Russian321...when will you fucking stop...go get a real job.

Sean Spicer is not exactly a bastion of truth

Who is?

More trustworthy than the MSM

Obstruction under the guise of "presidential confidentiality privilege" or somesuch bullshit. Along lines of "I can do that because I'm the president."

Trump has the ability to declassify anything he wants, provide provable alibis for his entire campaign staff, disclose his full financial profile, put every hater and doubter in their place...yet he has done nothing but say FAKE NEWS and Look at Hillary! and leaking his own 2 page tax return. Condemning the press and public for looking into his shit but essentially leaving them no other option. He works for us now, yet the guy's convinced it's the other way around, and millions agree.

this russia shit is ridiculous. is it worse than colluding with the british? the israelis? the house of Saud?

smoke and mirrors.

even the 'fake news' meme has come to life in this sub.

stop reading the washington post.

Yeah. All those other countries also attempted to influence our politics with email hackings and personal dealings with those in government while they were a sanctioned nation. People need to move on.

You realize this is a completely unprovable statement...? (Minus Russia being sanctioned)

In philosophy you argue the known and do not treat the unknown as fact. Are you attempting to say that a possibility with no evidence to support it should be treated as equal to that does have evidence?

I'm saying you can't possibly prove Russia hacked the DNC and leaked the emails. Even if they did; you either have to agree that what was in them was bad and therefore positive for the electorate to see. Or you can argue that what was in them wasn't bad, at which point Russia influencing the election makes no sense.

It's already proven it was done by Russians and evidence beyond that, but the only reason it doesn't go further is because the result would be sanctions placed by the President.

You don't have to prove anything other than their attempt to affect the election, which multiple people in government have already said is what happened. People on both sides of the aisle and in Intelligence.

You seem very misinformed on this subject.

First off not a single intelligence agency ever touched the DNC computers. They all went along with an independent contractors analysis. Not exactly a rigorous proof. Second, in light of Vault 7, we have no way of knowing if hacking was done by Russians, CIA, or some other party. Third, if you trust "multiple people in government" you're in the wrong sub.

You seem very ShareBlue on this subject.

First, Intelligence agencies contract out their jobs like this. It's kind of like how NIH contracts out a ton of their work to doctors in the field via grants. It is rigorous proof when you hire a firm that specializes in that type of data analysis.

Second, Vault 7 doesn't do anything to dispute the information we've been provided enough. Knowing that the CIA uses data that can allow them to spy on people does not disprove other data.

Third, you're right, I should totally trust random people on the Internet with very little information and background as opposed to an array of people from various affiliations and parties who normally don't work well together but are, just this once, saying the same thing. And, just because, in this instance, I trust that those people in the government are likely way more informed than you, doesn't mean I don't belong in this sub. Unless you're saying this sub is only for people who never trust the government or don't think anyone should ever disagree with their conspiracies...

I've heard of ShareBlue but don't really follow it. But, hey, if that's how you want to dispute my claims, go at it.

  1. One firm is not rigorous proof. Basic premise of rigorous proof is that it is repeatable by others
  2. Knowing that the CIA can hack and make it seem like it was somebody else doing the hacking certainly makes knowing who did this impossible.
  3. Globalists work extremely well together. Red or Blue means nothing.

Tell David Brock I hope he dies soon when you collect your next paycheck.

  1. Sorry, but no.
  2. Sorry, but no.
  3. Sorry, but no.

Who the fuck is David Brock?

Time to start doing some actual research instead of coming here and parroting r/politics. Enjoy your red pill.

rolls eyes

Person refutes and disagrees, they must be some part of something else just to appease you desire to categorize everyone into a group to hate or like.

Don't get emotional. I think your resource suggestion is something you might want to try. Also work on logic.

Lol. Typical big boy on the internet reply.

Don't be so butt hurt.

Lol.

Yes. It is worse.

What would Yates have testified about? According to Schiff, about Flynn:

“Today's hearing would also have provided the opportunity for former Acting Attorney General Sally Yates to testify about the events leading up to former National Security Adviser Flynn's firing, including his attempts to cover up his secret conversations with the Russian Ambassador,” Schiff said in a statement.

“We would urge that the open hearing be rescheduled without further delay, and that Ms. Yates be permitted to testify freely and openly so that the public may understand, among other matters, when the president was informed that his national security adviser had misled the vice president and through him, the country, and why the president waited as long as he did to fire Mr. Flynn.”

http://thehill.com/policy/national-security/326135-schiff-yates-would-have-testified-on-flynn-at-cancelled-hearing

So, what looks for all the world like a cover-up that resulted in a man being fired from a critical government position, along with the non-action of Team Trump, which only did something once Flynn's lie was leaked to the press. Another instance of only responding to something once it was being widely circulated. Otherwise, Flynn would still be Nat Sec, nobody would know about his lobbying for Turkey. I bet Yates would be asked about that as well, including the meetings he attended that discussed extraditing that cleric...but this trail would eventually lead to Nunes, who was at the second of those meetings. So none of it would look good, optics-wise, and this continues to be Trump's number one concern.

All of this is public knowledge at this point. What Trump doesn't want is someone stringing these things together in a concise fashion on national television.

House Republicans would grill Yates about the leaks of Flynn lying info to the press, Gowdy's voice would get mean, there would be tense moments. But honestly, aside from trying to spin incidental collection into directed, partisan collection, and the bloodlust for leakers and journalists, not much going for them with Yates.

Washington Post, HAHAHA!

what the fuck do they have to hide? Whatever is necessary for their administration to survive these next few years. Trump and his administration are going to go to whatever lengths they have to, if they want to be in power. However, I have a feeling that in the coming months there will be solid evidence of Russian collusion with the Trump administration.
