Incredible - Trump's decision to bomb Syria instantly alienated his grass roots supporters but now the MSM and "Never Trumpers" are beginning to praise his "heroic actions". The working-class of America just got stabbed in the back.

"Could this be the end of Trump?" -Increasingly nervous man for the 1x1017 th time this year.

I still think he knows he's being fed fake info he's just playing the game because he has to.he is still woke and has our best interest

He did warn everyone to GTFO of the weapons depot before it was bombed. I think 0 casualties have been reported. It's a smart move, even if it is a little risky.

Exactly and if he didn't we'd be hearing Russian spy all over the news sill and how a bunch of dead babies is trumps fault. All of Trump people made but he play chess everyone else's checkers

Russia did say there would be negative consequences, but they're going to the UN to talk about stuff. So, probably not war stuff.

All in all, it was smart (though I'm conflicted on whether that or peace talks would have been better). It allowed for (what seems like) no casualties and stopping the chemical weapons for the meantime.

You guys need to clean up when you are done.

You guys need to clean up

Alright. We'll start with the federal government.

Actually, you can start with that stuff on your face.

It's called a beard. It's normal to have one.

Yup, very smart. Trump did just enough to quiet the Russian collusion talks down, just like Putin wanted.

So this man attacks civilians for political reasons, just like a terrorist and you think he is playing chess? Are accounts like you being paid?

You clearly aren't informed. Zero casualties from the bombs. Just destroyed there airfield and faculties. Smart move

Trump didn't do that....... that is his response. He blew up the faculty the weapons came from. I'm not paid account dipshit hahahah

So he blew up a place full of toxic gas?

I'm perturbed by what's going on and want more information, but I can gaurentee this attack was not intended to kill civilians. That helps absolutely no one, except maybe Assad.

Assad didn't use the chemical weapons, it doesn't help him.

Also, think critically and check your sources. Trump's attack is only helping Isis

He warned Russia that he's gonna have a bunch of tomahawk missiles coming in so if they're flying around they better get far far away. It was a pretty risky move because of course Russia could've tipped off Syria beforehand which they clearly did not even though they (Russia) condemned the attacks. Not that it would have mattered strategically. The target was the air base. Not the people on it.

Unfortunately some more news has come out since to wrote your comment and so far 9 civilians have reportedly been killed including 4 children. Not really sure what a bunch of kids are doing on an air base that was allegedly the source of a chemical weapon attack like not that long ago. Seems like bad parenting.

Apparently the missiles had shit accuracy and where flying all over the place and hit a nearby village or smth.

Whoa whoa whoa where do you think you are. Trumps president now which means he's automatically establishment Zionist puppet. Don't bring sensible reasoning into this.

I wasn't trying to imply that, but it seems people think I was...

I'm just breaking your balls. No matter what Trump does he's either the shining knight ready to shatter the deep state, or the evil Zionist puppet who's played everyone for a fool. There's no middle of the road where maybe he's just making smart political decisions. This is conspiracy after all.

Man your really drinking that trump kool-aid huh?

Just waiting it out. And not about to jump ship till I see more information

So how the fuck does this help Trump? He just alienated a large part of his supporter base.

That doesn't hurt him. They'll be back. Chill. Your overreacting

Just asking: Where's did you get your first assumption ...decision to bomb Syria instantly alienated his grass roots supporters ?

I've been reading since I first got up and not seen anything that would support that.

Thanks..

If you looked at T_D over since the chemical attack and Trump's take on it there was alot of chatter against it. Paul Joseph Watson jumped ship, Mike Rivero who does What Really Happened podcasts has jumped .

I've been reading since I first got up and not seen anything that would support that.

Look at the reaction on twitter, t_d, /pol/, and everywhere else.

If you don't see it, you literally aren't looking.

Again, I wouldn't call those places 'grass roots'.. Grass roots are the rank and file out in fly-over country..

You're just making shit up to sound right to yourself. Are you young? Because you don't seem to know what grassroots means.

Probably older than you.. And I am not making anything up.. I saw a claim and I don't see any real evidence to back it up.. that's all. If anyone is making anything up, it's the OP with his 'grass roots supporters' line..

Sure there are people who don't support this.. that's no surprise - and I am one of them BTW...

I thought there would be some real info but no..

fly-over country

And with three words you've shown that you have zero connection with the grass roots that support Trump.

See Mike Cernovich, Rand Paul, Nigel Farage, Katie Hopkins, Ukip leader Paul Nuttall tweets

I would not call them 'grass roots'.

There opinions are highly regarded by Trump supporters can verify

What does that statement even mean?

Do you really need help deciphering that one? Or are you just attempting to poke fun at his grammatical mistakes?

I think he's trying to make sense of that cluster fuck of a "sentence".

Well I am fucking grass roots. I voted for Trump because I wanted a President who would end all the Middle East shit for the profit of American Energy corporations. One who would destroy the Obama funded assholes ISIS and leave Assad to rebuild his country.

Further proof that voting does not count. The Establishment is every candidate. Fuck them all!

profit of American Energy corporations

Trump administration has been nothing but helping corporations so far.

Also Paul Joseph Watson.

Trump's decision to bomb Syria instantly alienated his grass roots supporters

No, it didn't. Most of them still believe he's playing some kind of xy-level chess.

No, it didn't. Most of them still believe he's playing some kind of xy-level chess.

no they dont

no they dont

good to know

Lol go take a look at t_d right now. They're on a massive banning spree against anyone implying it isn't a genius move .

Mods=/=trump's base. It's pretty clear there's a huge fracture.

The sub gets brigaded all the time, so I wouldn't completely trust an impulsive consensus.

Can confirm, was banned. The whole sub was calling it a hoax/false flag and demanding Trump not act on it prematurely. #SyriaHoax was top trending on Twitter just before the missile strikes.

A hashtag which ironically started in Russia.

The Russian citizens see all the corrupt bullshit going on too just like we do. We need to build a country just for politicians send them all there.

Crock of shit isn't it. Thats what we get for setting aside our cynicism for a minute i guess.

You can now post at /r/bannedfromthe_donald

Yeah, the switch was jarring.

TD has had issue in the past with mods. They have some real 'splaining to do now

That's because they are removing all the posts that are against Trumps decision

They're on a massive banning spree

Can confirmed, was banned last night for challenging Trump on this illegal bombing

Banned here as well.

PJW, Ann Coulter, and Mike Cernovich are pissed.

Yes it did. The mods have just banned dissenting views, pretty much having to work overtime because a lot of supporters were pissed.

good to know

because the mods are israeli propagandists. we've known that for a long time.

MODS=GODS is what I've always seen spammed there so they're probably at least lvl 27 Demigods like Gilgamesh and Perseus.

There are 36 losers who are mods. You can go to the sub and look on the side to find the list of people who are mods.

There are 36 losers who are mods

no- there are 36 ACCOUNTS on the mod list. The number of actual mods is probably much smaller. And we know who started that sub.

i don't. please do tell.

Yeah I don't know either

Yes it did. The mods have just banned dissenting views

I was banned last night for daring to challenge their group think on this. That sub is starting to disgust me

Checking in thoroughly disgusted and banned as well.

I was banned for rule 6 regarding this comment below.

Liberal here and also very pissed off. However I have absolutely no intention to lap any of this up. This is a crucial moment for all of us and hopefully is enough to bridge the massive divide that has been created.

All that matters now is coming together and putting an end to all this war bullshit once and for all.

Clinton would've done the same thing and I hope you would've felt the same way.

Worth the ban as 96 people were able to read it and up vote it before it was removed. I'm convinced all that's left is right wing extremesist, non Americans and bots. Everyone else has came to their god damn senses already.

I have no problem with Trump supporters except when they refuse to acknowledge when he fucked up. It's also not about bragging rights or saying I told you so either because there are no winners in this game. We the American public all lose. I've never wanted to be more wrong about a president in my life.

It started disgusting me a long time ago.

Starting to?

Absolutely; just got banned from r/the_donald for respectfully stating that i thought this was a grave mistake.

I'm ashamed that i allowed myself to hope that this president was different and ashamed that i let myself hope that that sub was something more than just a propagandist echo chamber.

It was very nice to take a small break from 15 years of conspiracy-minded cynicism but again the worst appears to have been proven correct.

One of these days we will pull together and get this right. Got to keep hope alive my friends.

Heh I was banned also but that's not surprising to me. I watched them delete 100s of comments last night. They were caught off guard with the mass influx of people.

I lost hope with Obama. Now I just seem to wish.

Trump no longer has my support after this BS. He is going to need to earn it back. It is not unconditionally given any longer.

I lost all respect for TD about 2-3 weeks ago when I was attacked for saying Palin's answer about her Russia foreign relations experience was a stupid response. She cited Alaska's proximity to Russia as an example of experience with Russian foreign relations. TD felt that was a brillint answer, basically showing blind loyalty to Republicans.

I still sub at TD, because there are some informative posts, but my mindset is fuck them and their bubble.

Shit's crazy, a lot of us were talking about false flag and 24 hours later the whole sub is saying it was a power move for his meeting with China. I'm still glad it's not Hillary but at this point it's pretty obvious that this is about a pipeline.

Just go to twitter and see for yourself.

Just go to twitter and see for yourself.

So they won't mind to see him taken down?

Yes it did. Go check out voat and /pol/.

Grassroots supporter Here. I'm LIVID. Being called a shill everywhere else

When the Nazis came for the communists, I remained silent; I was not a communist.

When they locked up the social democrats, I remained silent; I was not a social democrat.

When they came for the trade unionists, I did not speak out; I was not a trade unionist.

When they came for the Jews, I remained silent; I wasn't a Jew.

When they came for me, there was no one left to speak out.

Just like to share that poem with you by Martin Niemoller.

It could easily be adapted for the current situation.

I hope his blind loyalty supporters figure this out soon.

I have no idea what this means

We tried to warn you he was exploiting you.

Saddam Hussein was a threat to Israel and Assad is very hostile with Israel now which is why US has to respond. If Trump had to choose between allying with Israel or Russia, Trump will choose Israel (unless Trump wants to commit political suicide and oppose both Democrats and Republicans on foreign policy). Don't buy into the "i saw innocent children being killed, therefore I had to respond" humanitarian argument that the media is presenting. This war didn't start a few days ago

President Kushner probably got nervous and told Donnie what to do.

He didn't "bomb Syria". He made a precision strike against one airbase. No casualties.

I don't know about precision,

According to our sources, only 23 of them reached the Syrian airbase,” Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Major-General Igor Konashenkov said,  https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.rt.com/document/58e75defc36188ab578b4690/amp

He didn't carpet bomb the palace.... limited, surgical strike. a retaliation, not an overly aggressive excuse to bomb civilians.

23/50 isn't too good when each costs over $1,000,000.00.

I wouldn't believe that failure rate. These weapons have a known history of precision and reliability. A more than 50% failure rate is staggering.

Yeah the nonstop slander factory at the Independent is quoting Russia, saying something that is historically and statistically improbable. Take with a grain of salt.

Yeah I edited my first comment after seeing the originating source on ABC.

If you look at our history of bombing campaigns in the last couple of was, you would know that the term 'smart bombs' is a whole lot of hyperbole and that the vast majority of casualties turned out to be civilians more often than not. We just called collateral damage and they're not reported in the media, doesn't mean for a second that it doesn't happen all the time.

Grouping carpet bombing with precision Tomahawks will present such a misleading outlook.

I'm all for listening to Russian sources, but they have a propaganda spin to put on this just like US politicians do on both sides of the aisle. Making the US response and missile capabilities look weak is a good PR move for them internally and internationally.

You fucking retards are sourcing russian propaganda!!!

RT is infinitely more reliable and trustworthy than any of the current MSM outlets in America. They actually report on things instead of putting out regurgitated Deep State talking points and flag-waving bullshit.

https://i.redd.it/wlemie0930qy.jpg

Russian propaganda is more reliable than the MSM?....

Bwa hahahahahaha

Good on you for adopting the PR euphemisms!

What should a strong president do when a leader supposedly uses gas on his own people? Should he do nothing and appear indecisive or weak? Maybe even look afraid? Should he send in even more of young American men and women to fight these evildoers, getting even more of them killed in high numbers? Or should he send a message with zero troops on the ground, that he means business and will strike APPROPRIATELY to any attack? Without any antiseptic PR, what do YOU think he should do? And remember, when Barry was slow to react, he was labeled indecisive and weak.

I guess I would want to make sure that our language consists of words like definitely instead of supposedly?

If you believe that Assad gassed innocent civilians out of the blue, at a time when he's finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel (never mind all the other shit that stinks to high heaven about this alleged attack), then I have this awesome bridge I'd like to sell you. Prime location in a big city. Motivated buyer.

I don't think Assad id it and neither do I think Trump believes it. But as president, he HAD to respond to this false flag if for no other reason than to not appear weak. At least he made a small limited response.

Strong. Trump.

Pick one, you can't have both on this weak spine guy.

How can you claim Trump is weak? Maybe you're imagining things.

Oh you're right. I forgot only the strong lie, cheat, and steal. Through strong don't defend and help pick others up.

Look, trump is weak. I'm sorry if you drank too much kool-aid. Sure he has money and material stuff. But he got it from his father and then screwing any one he could to keep more money coming in.

He admits to being a businessman. You're screwed by big business every day except they use terms like "sales fluffery" to cover fraud. They use words like "no fat" to mislead you into thinking something might actually be healthy for you... stop acting like lying and cheating is only something bad people do. That entire "don't lie, don't cheat" was a ruse to fool you into being a nice boy. The real rules of the real world is everyone lies, everyone cheats to get ahead. it's a jungle, a dog eat dog world and the dogs are the ones telling that that eating other dogs is bad. They're only saying that to pacify you and you believed it. Talk about drinking kool-aid.... you think Catholic priests care about what god thinks of their alter boy antics? You think business is fair? If so, why do we have so many lawsuits? Wake up child. You're living in a fantasy world believing people wouldn't have screwed Trump out of his billions if they could have. Trump is weak... trust me, you don't stay a billionaire long being weak.

So I typed out a pretty long thought out response. And realized you aren't even going to read it before just blindly jumping to be defensive for your orange leader. So fuck it here's something shorter even though I already wasted all my time on the other poat.

Tell me some good people who lie and cheat then. If bad people aren't the only ones doing it? And I never mentioned bad or good, just weak and strong. So you've already shifted the goal and discussion by bringing in good and bad.

I simply said he's weak. He lies, he cheats, he frauds, and steals. Sure that may be strong to you, but to others that's weak and spineless. So ill wait for more of the orange oompa loompa defense force to come in, but I stand by what I said.

Lots of accusations... not reading you, changing the topic, blah, blah, bah... can't you just admit there ore others who think differently and a forum like this is really not the best way to exchange those ideas? Not everyone who thinks differently is an enemy or trying to do you harm. Some people just have different info than you.

Uhhh my dood, you just completely 180d and changed the entirety of what we were discussing. If you wanna discuss, then let's discuss. Shit shoot me a pm and we can talk privately and more civily. But you were the one to strike first, just fyi.

Sorry, I was having several conversations, I may have been replying to someone else or thinking of another post.

At least 5 dead with many more injured.

No one wants anyone to die. But at least it wasn't one of Barry's drone strikes that bombed weddings or funerals.

There is little to no difference. It doesn't matter who the president is because they are simply a scapegoat for bad policy and a figurehead for the rest.

That is true but at least Trump knows this and appears to be working to change this dynamic. He can't just overthrow the system that has infiltrated our republic. It has to be done in stages.

I think you have far too much faith in Trump personally. He is marching in lock step with the plan now so I'm not convinced that you're notion is correct.

If he wanted to bring the country back to the people he could do so fairly easily by way of releasing info on how bad it has actually gotten.

Release it to who? The MSM? To Twitter? To RT? Any mention of objectionable material is met with denials, accusations, fake news and counter lies so the American people don't know who to believe. People (Ron Paul and others) have been telling the American people for decades the Fed is a scam but guess what? We still have a Fed. And remember, these guys are playing hardball. You're not allowed to just stand there and give away secrets that will cost them billions in profit but also could result in lynchings IF enough people ever began to believe it. I'm still giving Trump the same chance I gave Clinton (failed) Bush (failed) and Obama (failed)

This is who you release the info to.

https://giphy.com/gifs/sUNqplVFtsctW

Drone warfare has increased 500% under Trump already, js.

Source?

You mean apart from the people the US literally murdered last night, 6 being the total at the moment.

And how many died in the gas "attack"? How many more might not die in any canceled future gas attacks?

What has that attack got to do with Assad?

Other than the MSM saying it has.

Nothing, that is what.

Assad had no motive. The attack was clearly a false flag designed to change the subject, which was Susan Rice.

Assad had no motive, The attack was clearly a false flag designed to change the subject, which was Putin.

Possible. .

We agree that it is a false flag, and that it is a distraction. Russia has a lot more to gain out of it and far more capability to pull it off than Rice does.

He effectively acted as ISIS's airforce. Which makes sense considering ISIS is an American/Zionist asset

That is ridiculous. We obviously have interests in Syria, especially when someone is gassing civilians.

Yes, our interests include building and controlling an oil pipeline from Qatar to Europe.

Have you seen the photos? It's as if nothing happened.

It was 59 missiles hitting Syria. Missile could also be called a bomb. It fits the literal definition of "bomb Syria".

Got to love how the MSM all get into lockstep whenever we march into war.

Isn't it interesting how the patterns repeat themselves, A President starts feeling the heat of scandal, and then suddenly we get a false flag "chemical attack" by Assad, who literally had nothing to gain and not to mention absolutely no strategic rationale for using chemical weapons in the first place. The BAM! we get War, The Great Disinfectant.

Coming soon, fake polls showing a nice spike from those dismal 35% approval ratings.

We have seen this movie before.

I've read in comments and I agree that this was done to intentionally divide his supporters, let the tides turn on that mission, label it a war crime and remove him

We are certainly divided. I for one think it very, very fishy that Assad would use biochemical weapons again, especially after Kerry's 2013 deal. It seems that this was a set-up to allow another Iraq-esque situation to occur again.

I'm still on board with the false flag idea. But this all hinges on whether trump puts boots on the ground or is using it to up his approval ratings and shut up the left calling for war with Putin

I for sure think this is a false flag along the lines of the deep military industrial complex staged a chemical attack to bait trump into action which sadly worked it looks like

what do you think about this take:

http://i.imgur.com/2GDPpMS.jpg

Makes sense logically but still wondering what others think about it

Usually you should take 4chan posts with a grain of salt especially when the OP says the truth is irrelevant and to ignore what the opposition says.

so besides that part, what do you think of points 1 - 6 ?

i think its very interesting. I think even if he knew it was a false flag he had to act, in order to still look tough. If it really was Assad then the measure was appropriate to show that using chemical weapons will not be tolerated.

They claim that they have the airspace over Syria picture, with the planes taking off just before munitions delivered, and returned to base.So who monitored the airspace there? Turkey? Israel? Russia? If the source is not coming from a U.S. asset, who provided it and how reliable is the info?

Probably some geostationary satellite.

First of all OP begins by making the assertation that the chemical attack is a false flag by using the claim that the public information obviously points to a false flag, without going into any kind of detail what he means. Now to the points. Point 1 I agree with cause it seems this is where OP represents the facts of the situation (bombing location, targets, casualties, russias involvement). For point 2, what the hell does he mean by "he just put Assad in check", this is just a assumption that Assad wont retaliate in any way, the other half of point 2 makes the case that this appeases his opponents and makes him look good even though in point 5 he completely glosses over the fact that Trump lied to his voters and just claims that his supporters will see the see the truth once the hysteria clears (I know I jumped points but the 2nd half of point 2 and point 5 show how OP is ignoring the negative of Trumps actions and embellishing the positive). Point 3 is a warmongering statement that I dont see how anyone should agree with, "not fucking around with north korea. No doubt a message to Iran as well" glad to see OP is so willing to start dealing with US adversarys with aggression, cause no way there would be backlash there. Point 4, since they bombed a syrian airstrip isnt that effectively crippling Assads air power consequently increasing the amount of air superiority Russia has over the region (this is more speculation since I do not know the infrastructure of Assads airforce and how much support Russia provides). Point 6 is just a opinion and really dosen't prove at all that Trump-Russia is false, all because Trump is being aggresive to a ally of Russia dosent mean that this just cleans the slate of his investigation.

Imagine you come upon a octagonal metal sign on the side of street, at an four-way intersection. You see one of these signs at every street corner of the intersection and they do not contain any markings. As a car approaches, you notice that they are slowing down and come to a brief stop at the intersection before crossing through. You see this happen 2 or 3 more times. Now imagine someone asks you out of the blue if you know what kind of sign that is on the street corner. All signs point to a stop sign, but you don't actually know that. That was more the gist to me.

You are behind it and can only see the metal and its outline. It is does not contain any markings. Now your friends, they are all facing the stop sign standing 2 feet apart. Then someone asks you if you know what kind of sign that is. You say sure, it's a stop sign because all signs (your friends telling you it was a stop sign, you seeing the metal outlinepointed to

Somehow i cant opened your reference/source, any idea?

try again?

It's amazing how not only is every single action is not that bad, but also happens to confirm or debunk any positive or negative thing about him. I'm surprised there was no 7th bullet point saying the attacks proves he really won the pop vote.

Yeah that would seem correct if you connected all those dots

50 cruise missiles cost approx $60 million. And will be sorely missed if they might be needed in Korea.

That's a year of protecting the first lady in her N.Y. penthouse, or a year of the Presidents golf trips to florida.

Peanuts, I say.

Huh? The US has thousands and thousands of these...

Yes, true, but location is very important. Do they have them in the right place? Are you SURE they have them?

Our largest foreign naval base is in Japan. It has an aircraft carrier, a full squadron of destroyers and 3 cruisers.

Plus of course we keep a ridiculous number of mobile launchers around not to mention aircraft capable of launching any number of short to medium range air-to-surface missiles.

For goodness sake, the US is currently armed to fight World War 2 again.

The U.S. running out of missiles is the funniest thing I've heard all day.

Do you remember the time when the U.S. ran out of 500 lb gravity bombs?

Literally no-one is calling for war with Putin. Is this what fox is saying?

The left doesn't want war with Putin. You must be referring to liberal Dems.

But this all hinges on whether trump puts boots on the ground

lol... the Pentagon is no longer disclosing how many troops are deployed in Syria.

http://www.latimes.com/politics/la-na-trump-deployment-20170330-story.html

I wonder how his human centipedes will contort their way out of this one.

Are they not disclosing or not announcing? Thats a little different

I'm positive Trump announces shit when it's convenient for him.

Good try trying to make that distinction, but you're going to have to brush up on your gymnastics skills for this one.

If i had a point for that you might be right, im just asking. Because announcing is different than disclosing so i know what they mean

What if Trump was fed false intelligence leaving him with no doubt that Assad was guilty? Next plan a mission that ensures no Russian casualties but that most of his supporters are against. Then fake intelligence that Trump tipped off Putin. Final step remove him.

Well, he's dumb enough to believe anything he sees on fox/breitbart, so your theory is plausible.

We are certainly divided. I for one think it very, very fishy that Assad would use biochemical weapons again, especially after Kerry's 2013 deal. It seems that this was a set-up to allow another Iraq-esque situation to occur again.

I was banned from the safe place /r/the_donald for daring to not partake in their group think.

Gah it's just too weird for me to even go over there anymore. The hoops they jump through to justify every little thing. It's literally the exact same thing they hated on previous Obama supporters for.

I was banned (as many others were) months ago for questioning the assertion that the interests of Israel and the USA are aligned in the face of a barrage of MAGA/MIGA posts.

I doubt that you were probably trolling

look at my comment history. i was banned for my last t_d comment

I don't see it where is it in your history

It's there, he said:

This type of group think disgusts me. Trump said no regime change! No fucking regime change and now we're fucking bombing Syria....

On this thread here

What's more impressive is that he was banned with a positive vote count. I guess they were trigger happy given the anti-shill narrative (falsely equating dissent with shills).

A decent bot would just do this for us. It must be possible post-spezgate I'm sure. Or just make it a reddit feature...

Can someone explain what this means. I don't understand what no participation and cross posting are.

Yeah that's fucked but Reddit is fucked in a lot of ways. I'm not ready to blame trump and rebuke him yet Is all I'm saying

I've said elsewhere that I'm persuaded by Langdale's idea that this is a game being played out and that Assad will step down within a couple of weeks. Once those weeks go by I'll reconsider depending on what's happened.

Did it deserve a ban? Fluck no, but saying bombing chemical weapon locations equates to a regime change is uninformed at best. In fact Russia backs Assad as ruler of Syria, so attacking him and his forces direct would be stupid. However, Russia and China as U.N. members are fucked for not supporting U.S. action, and actually condemning it. As U.N. members they should have told Assad, "Play stupid games? Wins stupid prizes." A strike against his chemical weapon deployment platform locations were about the least we could do as a response. It's incredibly hypocritical of Russia and China to chastise us for our response as well.

Your comment seemed to insinuate a regime change. Russia backs Assad currently. Highly doubtful at this time that we piss in their Cheerios more than we already have by forcing a regime change. At this time the MSM is only reporting chemical weapons were used. We as one of the only military competent U.N. members were obligated by our role in that organization to act. This is about as soft as it gets other than sanctioning Syria which would have made us look weak in international eyes at a time when we have frankly...been weak. Lastly, been seeing reports that President Bush claimed that Iraqis moved chemical weapons into Syria in '03...and the MSM called him a liar. Any truth to that? I was 18 at the time and was probably just chasing tail and not following international news....

Yeah unfortunately that happens. I like trump and many of his policies, and I like the Donald too, but their zero tolerance policy is bullshit.

Me too, but I've been censored here before, as well. One of the reasons I visit /pol. I don't agree with everything discussed there, but at least you're free to speak your mind. One of the rules here is you can't criticize this sub. How is that any different than Trump saying you can't criticize him?

Whoa your comments didn't seem ban-worthy either. Sad!

Maybe it's a setup...

Or maybe, when the Trump administration announced that they won't go after Assad, it was viewed as an invitation for Assad to do whatever he wanted.

Trump hasn't gone after pizzagate. Trump hasn't gone after Benghazi. Trump hasn't gone after Assad. Trump is weak.

>implying that pizzagate has any substance

>implying there haven't already been many Benghazi investigations

doesn't realize that an investigation is required before concluding that there is no substance

misses the key word that Trump hasn't driven am imvestigation

Has no intention of prosecuting Clinton either, and even led a standing ovation in her honor at his inauguration luncheon.

No US president will ever be removed for War Crimes, at least by other Americans. The precedent would be too dangerous, and the hypocrisy of removing one criminal but not any of the previous ones might be too much even for us.

This is all a coincidence folks nothing to see here, keep walking. Play on your iphones and play your app games. This op will be taken care of shortly.

No, no, watch the cool footage of a cruise missile launching over and over again. Begin to feel the song "America, Fuck YEAH!" growing from your loins. Yes, yes, feeel the military industrial complex give you a power hard on!

who literally had nothing to gain, not to mention absolutely no strategic or tactical rationale for using chemical weapons in the first place.

This is it right here. There is nothing to gain from inviting the type of action a chemical attack brings. Assad is winning the civil war, why would he invite the international community into the conflict he is clearly winning by gassing a few doze civilians? It makes absolutely no sense at all.

So that Trump and Putin can put on a show of conflict (Russia and Syria had advanced notice of the air strike), make the world afraid of war, but then somehow manage to come to a peaceful solution. Removing US sanctions will of course be a part of the deal, with the added bonus of people being able to point and say, "see, they aren't colluding, they were so mean to each other." Pretty good bang for your buck off of one chemical attack on civilians.

Almost fits too perfectly, except I don't even think Assad would have had to know what they were planning. He's easy to throw under the bus.

Possible that Trump and Putin devised the plan to distract / dissuade people from the Trump / Russia collision stories, along with what you said. Alternatively, Trump would not necessarily need to have known of the planned chemical attack so long as his reaction was assured.

Possible that Trump and Putin devised the plan

Basic mafia tactics. Feeling the heat so a low man on the totem pole gets thrown under the bus. There's a number of possibilities including Assad doing this because he knows the game and wanted that bus hit to not be bad. It wasn't.

Or Russian intel finds the rebel sarin paints the target and set Assad up.

Honestly it's such saber rattling and lock-step shows of power that it seems unlikely to escalate, which is what Putin wants; a Syrian distraction so that his moves close to his borders aren't as scrutinized.

This is what I'm thinking. Trump and Putin have agreed to a overthrow of Assad and will now split Syria's pipeline.

More than just distract, now they can say, see all the collusion is just a coincidence, Trump is standing up to Putin by bombing Syria!

no that would be israel and israel and israel and israel...and the israel lobby in america

Don't forget the attack shows that the Obama administration did not remove all chemical weapons as claimed. They're going to play up his lack of action in the area lead to the chemical weapons being used. Making the last administration look inept is always a plus.

This whole

Is it not possible for them to manufacture more since the removal?

I don't know for sure but I would think probably not. If you're going to go through the trouble of demanding that they hand over all chemical weapons it would make sense that all facilities able to make it would have to be destroyed.

So they would have to start from scratch without drawing any attention to it. Build a lab, get all the ingredients, have scientists on hand that can mix it up. My best guess is if Assad used them, he lied and held on to some. It also could have been some other group (ISIS, Al Qaeda, etc...) that secured some from weapons cache from one of the areas they've run over. Hell, the CIA could have provided them or another sympathetic country. Then again, there might not have even been a chemical a weapon used and it's all bullshit. We'll probably never get the real story much like Benghazi or the laundry list of other recent events unless someone leaks it.

In the meantime, what happens to Iran?

I missed the part about how any of that is bad?

Well if we can start importing good Russian-made AK's and get access to cheap surplus ammo i'll take it.

Can Assad be considered a fully rational actor though? I'm just wondering opinions on that.

Can Assad be considered a fully rational actor though?

Considering the options available, yes. Its him or US backed radical Islamist. Of course I think most people would perfer a blossoming democracy which respect the rights of women/minorities etc but the reality is that dropping bombs for years on a vulnerable society will convert many many people into radicals. Assad is the best route to maintain some sort of stability. We have seen what US lead regime change looks like in Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan & Yemen look like. Its not pretty.

Exactly, Assad was winning the war against ISIS. It makes zero sense to gas his own people.

Then Russian version of the story is much more plausible. That the Syrians were using conventional weapons against rebel forces who where holding chemical weapons. Given that the last time we tried to go to full war with Assad over a chemical attack was proven to had been carried out by the rebels (Verified by the UN) for the express purpose of goading the US to attack their enemy for them.

Because he had done it for years now, and obama never retaliated

and yet it works every time

House of Cards has done this.

They stole it from history. Pretty much every president in recent memory (save Obama and Carter) has done something like this.

I could just as easily see Russia push Syria to use chemical weapons, then use Trump to "intervene". The targets were not significant and we "warned" Russia before hand. It doesn't add up. Now it appears as if Trump is distancing himself from Russia. If Putin bought the white house, it's in his interest to throw the media off the scent.

Look for sanctions lifting soon when the US makes a last ditch attempt to "negotiate peace."

I don't think the Russia narrative is true. I think it's an elaborate smokescreen so that tptb can do what they want in regards to Russia and it won't be expected. Those really in control have nothing to gain from colluding with Russia, when Russia is anti globalism. How can the President "sell" the White House when the President doesn't control it, the power behind the scenes does?

Wag the Dog

Love this phrasing.

no that would be our scumbag neocon establishment pro israel which sadly every american president has to appease apparently

For real. Wtf.

It's not making any sense to me. IMO this is another big embarassment from him. Its still a mess. The international community is all over the place. Congress is asking if it was essentially even constitutional. The human in me is not pleased with more hasty destruction in response to death and destruction. What does the msm see in this?

The conspiracy theorist in me wouldn't put it past Trump and Russia to stage this as a red herring to hide their relationship. There are several other plausable scenarios as well. All seem to me to be more likely than an Assad planned chemical attack.

Let's be real though, the media is the medium for all of the footage. Maybe they are happy that they still have power.

I missed the war part? Did someone declare war?

If war is declared it wil be WW3

We also got a terror attack in Sweden to close the loop and prove Trumpy right again!

Same shit with Billy Clinton and the Kosovo war.

Who said we're going to war?

Wish I could upvote you twice.

I'm going to do a long write up on this because I spent a lot of time researching this over the last few days because, like you said, this doesn't add up. It doesn't pass the smell test. What I found is exactly what I expected from our government.

The Attack:

1) They were targeting a weapons depot of Al-Nusra. Al-Nusra is the rebranded Al-Qaeda leadership in Syria. We cut a deal with them and some other rebel groups, you can read about it in the wiki link above, that basically says if they don't target the West and focus on their fight in Syria, we'll give them weapons and more while turning a blind eye. Some of their members had small parts in the 9/11 planning. They are a rebel group and some of the rebel groups we are giving money, guns, ammunition, vehicles and other supplies to are working with them. Pay attention here, because the vehicles and vehicle supplies thing is going to be relevant.

But, when you boil this part down, we are indirectly funding the same people that flew two planes in to the world trade center and one into the pentagon which killed 2,996 people in 2011. This is what our government is and has been doing for some time in the middle east, funding rebel groups that get bored and turn their intentions on the West. Disgusting.

2) The aftermath of the sarin gas attack do not line up with other historical instances of sarin gas usage. When a weapon systems delivers a chemical payload like sarin gas they are not blowing anything up. The bomb/missle will detonate high above the target site and the gas will fall and settle in a wider area below (wind can shift this obviously). The affected area, once the gas settles, is highly toxic and cannot be entered for around 24 hours while the gas dissipates. The gas is heavier than air, so it typically settles and dissipates hours later. However, in this most recent attack, first responders were able to assist without ventilation. Some did succumb to the nerve agent but most were able to recover, which is not in line with a targeted chemical attack of this nature.

It makes a lot more sense that the bombs that were dropped on the weapons depot that the Syrian forces were had sarin gas in it. Which makes sense, because on May 30th 2016 eight members of Al-Nusra were arrested in southern Turkey and they believed that they were trying to make sarin gas. However, they we're only carrying anti-freeze. Here is the kicker. They were subsequently found guilty of attempting to manufacture chemical weapons, as anti-freeze can be used to manufacture sarin gas. Here is how long it says it will take to get between the province the Al-Nusra fighters were arrested in (Adama province) to the rebel stronghold in Idilba province. About 5 hours away.

To summarize only what we know:

1) The attack does not gel with any previous sarin gas attack. Typically the areas are toxic and inaccessible to anyone with a respirator for about 24 hours. The goal of a chemical attack is for the gas to linger. Within 1 hour of the attack first responders were able to assist without a respirator to some trouble, but these areas should have been impossible to survive in without a respirator and suit at that time. The bombs dropped by Syria also don't gel with a chemical attack, it would have caused the gas to burn off faster and disperse quicker, which is what was reported. Sarin drops don't contain explosives, and they detonate high above the ground and let the gas settle. Syrian military claims they were dropping bombs on what they claimed was a weapons depot of Al-Nusra.

2) There is no motive for Syria to use chemical weapons on a war they are winning. On their own people. As we probably all know, they were ordered to disarm all chemical weapons in a UN resolution in 2013. Did they disarm all of it? Probably not. But they certainly would be under the microscope were they ever attempt something like this again. Assad is no saint, but that doesn't seem like a path anyone would take. It doesn't add up, it doesn't pass the smell test.

3) The rebels targeted by this Syrian operation are called Al-Nusra. They are a rebranded Al-Qaeda (see links above) and they have received vehicles and vehicle supplies, like anti-freeze, from the CIA either directly or through allied rebel groups. They struck a deal to not target Western countries in exchange for weapons, vehicles and supplies. They have been trying to make sarin gas for over a year now, with some of their fighters being convicted in international criminal courts and jailed for attempting to manufacture sarin gas specifically.

The rebel groups happen to be backed by the USA directly and indirectly. In my opinion, there isn't enough evidence to confidently say Syria carried out the attack. It seems much more likely that they were targeting a weapons depot of a UN recognized terrorist organization (the CIA calls them a friendly rebel group now) who have been pursuing chemical weapons for over a year.

What it looks like to me, is we just fired 70 Tomahawk missiles at a country that is fighting ISIS and a bunch of other rebel groups, and most likely did not drop chemical weapons on their own countrymen (this time at least).

But we've gotten so much better at this. In Iraq and Afghanistan we were just fighting the ruling regime. In Syria we're fighting the ruling regime, the rebels fighting that regime, and a nuclear superpower (well close enough to a superpower) at the same time!

Do you think this positive media spot is because trump did what the other team wanted him to do? Like as in the players who control hillary and mccain wanted him to do this? This was apart of THEIR plan, and he either fell into it or went along with it.

Part of me thinks that the only thing that got destroyed, was the truth behind the chemical weapons. Did assad use them? Did they get blown up in a russian strike? Did the rebels use them? Where did they originate? Who gains the most?

it should have been obvious to everyone once he aligned himself with the zionists

What?

shill

I dont think I understand.

I was being facetious, your response was correct

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you /r/conspiracy in three comments.

Jared Kushners in, next minute, we betray Assad

Removed: First and last warning

Google "Jarred Kushner Soros"

Bannons out, Kushners in

Trump has been a Zionist for nearly 20 years. He spent the entire Obama administration sucking Netanyahu's dick.

Nobody paid attention to what he was saying at AIPAC conference.

“I speak to you today as a lifelong supporter and true friend of Israel. I’m a newcomer to politics but not to backing the Jewish state.”

"I love the people in this room. I love Israel. I love Israel. I've been with Israel so long in terms of — I've received some of my greatest honors from Israel"

"Netanyahu In 2001: ‘America Is A Thing You Can Move Very Easily’"

His daughter is married to Jared Kushner - Jared's father was Charles Kushner. Kushner was a Mossad agent who placed Golan Cipel as the "boyfriend" of NJ Bov McGreevey - who put him on the NJ Homeland Security counsel - AND put Kushner in charge of the WTC rebuilding after 9/11 (i.e., in charge of the cover up.)

The "Alt Right" people have it all wrong - Trump is a literally, biological "cuck" - a cuckold. He pimped his own daughter out to the Israelis, spent 15 years doing their bidding, and now they are going to destroy his presidency.

I thought it was an enemies close kind of deal

It's pretty hilarious that people think he's antisemitic

Plenty of anti-semites support a strong Israel as a necessary ally against Islam which they hate even more.

I think many if his fans are clearly antisemitic, but I really haven't seem anything that convinced me Trump was as well. Racist and xenophobic? Sure, but what has he said against Jewish people? I mean his daughter is even married to an orthodox Jew. I don't know, maybe I'm wrong about this but it just feels kind of forced on the media's part

When you even have the CIA created terrorist group, fucking ISIS supporting this move, you know shit is fucked.

The fact that the MSM is praising this move should be enough evidence for anyone with half a brain to see that it's inexcusable

Trump either tricked his base or he's been compromised

I really don't want another Woodrow Wilson

I like how either lied (pro tip he did) or was compromised. People are still so deluded to think that trump wasn't some slimy lying business man is fucking laughable at best and worrisome at worst.

But you've had all the inside info and answers from the start unlike all these PLEBES

Well maybe. I did get into this stuff way to young. Maybe people will open thier eyes more now.

well ive lived it, and im only 29. I served my country based on a lie, in both federal and state government, what did you do? sit on the computer and read and think that you know it all? It still took me years to become truly awoke, so stop acting like you know it all because you know what voat, reddit, and 4 chan are. Point is, youre not above those who dont have the answers or are still not woke/confused.

Lol

I'm sorry you so mad? Not real sure what I said or did. Did you serve your country in combat or just getting involved in government? Two very different things.

And I never said I was above anyone? Not sure where your getting that.

Doesn't take an insider to know that Trump scammed desperate Americans after the 2008 financial crisis with his Trump university scam. He even settled that case, and by his own standards that means he was guilty.

Not trying to disagree with you, but settling a case does not always mean someone is guilty. The case came right before his inauguration and I feel as though anyone would want to brush a lawsuit off before becoming president.

The point isn't that settling makes you guilty it's that Trump himself has said that he never settles because that means you're guilty

I think the circumstances of being a business man one day and the president of the United States the next would change that view.

lmao. is this becoming a "talking point" all of a sudden? two commenters both referencing Trump U? What does that have to do with Hillary selling state secrets and nukes and weapons to terrorists, and having pedophiles in her cabinet?

Whoa hey, why are we suddenly talking about the irrelevant lady who lost the election?

Omg wake up man, election is over.

Syria just got bombed and you're still talking about Hillary?? Wtf

T_D is down the hall and to the right.

On a serious note, what the fuck??? Why are we still talking about Hilary? We all know that she is a piece of shit and is way too powerful to be brought down for now. Lets focus on more important shit like Trump...

The context was that someone called Trump a slimy business man and you inferred that there wasn't evidence of him being a slimeball by sarcastically referencing "insider information." People have been talking about Trump U since the election since it contradicts the claim that Trump cares about every day Americans.

I didn't realize Hillary was still relevant

Or that I the 80's, he sank an entire football league with poor decision making and possibly to try and get his team accepted into the NFL.

It was public knowledge. Trump University was a scam, Trump is a shady businessman. You don't need inside info to know that

and hillary wasnt? lol. cmon now. we were screwed either way. At least trumps not a satanist like merkel and hillary.

What does Clinton also being corrupt have to do with Trump's corruption not being insider knowledge?

A satanist?

Absolutely. Spiritual warfare's real and this world is run by evil forces.

I bet. And it has to do with satan and not other religions?

satan/molech/lucifer/baal all names for the same evil.

Satanist

Is it 1986?

Merkel is making children play the dungeons and dragons.

Anyone who has ever dealt with a used car salesman before had all the answers they needed when it came to Trump. Come on, if that guy, with no fame or fortune to his name, walked up to you in one of his bad suits on a lot somewhere, would you buy a car from him?

I forget who said it, but: "If Donald Trump hadn't been born into wealth, he'd be selling fake Rolexes on the street corner."

New Yorker here.

We know him. Well. Have for decades. Many of us have friends or family who have worked for him and had been fucked over by him. We watched him firsthand inject his vile racism into the Central Park 5 and when he was proven factually wrong by DNA evidence he just doubled down on his lies.

What he's doing is nothing new. There's a reason that 80% of us voted against him.

What rock were you living under to think Trump wasn't some lying asshole scum?

Anyone with an IQ over 70 knew Trump was lying from the beginning.

I think no matter who the President was that this was going to happen. What I would like to know is if he knew this was a false flag or not. What is the ultimate goal of this whole situation?

US/Saudi/Israeli control of the Middle East.

Control or more destabilization?

Why not both

Controlled destabilization

Just like 9/11, controlled demolition.

US lifting sanctions on Russia to "avoid war."

In his address about dropping bombs, Trump seemed to speak differently than he normally does. This speech did not seem to come from the heart, it seemed scripted. I didn't get that Trump was telling how he feels about it, he was selling it with facts.

Wait, do you mean to tell me that a person born into immense wealth because of growing globalization, may have not been the anti-globalist, man of the people he tweeted about? Are tweets now not enough proof to show that Trump is a man of the people? I swear anyone believing that shit has to be brain dead.

It's like they haven't seen his cabinet and supreme Court appointments.

Wait, do you mean to tell me that a person born into immense wealth because of growing globalization, may have not been the anti-globalist, man of the people, he tweeted about?

It's even worse: Deconstructing the mythos of Donald Trump

1) Tricked his base. But this is just the action to finally get them to see what everyone else has been yelling about all along.

2) What MSM is praising this? I see MSM saying "Trump is finally realizing that he's president" but not, "yay! Trump has bombed Syria"

What the hell do you think all the stupid bullshit about "Trump is controlled by Putin" was about? It was meant to force Trump's hand in Syria. Russia is an ally of Syria. The Democrats - including the entire mainstream media and most neo-con Republicans - hate Trump and wanted him to attack Syria, thus Russia. Even Clinton came out and said so.

So Democrats will get the WWIII they have been hoping for. When are you signing your own cowardly ass up to go fight the Ruskies, /r/jubway?

Exactly.

Do you think Dems might approve of actions against Assad but not the specific actions taken by Donald? No one in my liberal bubble is happy about this.

For what it's worth, the left's conspiracy theory here is that this will lead to a lot of saber-rattling, then peace talks, then lifted sanctions, giving everyone a nice bump in approvals and a deflection on the Russia investigation. We'll have to see how it all plays out, but I wouldn't be surprised if that's how it goes.

Do you think Dems might approve of actions against Assad but not the specific actions taken by Donald? No one in my liberal bubble is happy about this.

LOL. Democrats are going to hate Trump no matter what. If Clinton had won they would be defending her actions of course - just like the Democrats supported Obama for doing the same things Bush did.

No, the "Trump is controlled by Putin" comes from Trump kissing Putin's ass, the Russian interference in the election directly benefitting Trump, the numerous undisclosed meeting of Trump and Putin associates, and all of the lies Trump himself has said about having no connections to Russia (yet every week, at least 1 new connection is discovered)

But go ahead and say that this is due to the "democrats" egging Trump on. It's not possible that someone who is so vainly insecure that the only way they know how to respond to challenges/criticism/defeat is to attack tenfold might possibly see the events in Syria as a challenge and respond by a show of strength. A bully with an inferiority complex is president.

So you are resorting to the kindergarden view of international policy. "Trump is a poopyhead!"

You just tried to dismiss his whole comment by only criticising the last sentence... The rest of it holds up and shows why the Russia allegations have occurred. Yet you choose to ignore it.

No, more of the "this is what we have been trying to tell you for the last 3 months. Open your eyes and stop sucking Trump's dick" approach to trying to reason with the trumpettes who remain "faithful."

You are on the side of the pro-war Democrats - and now that the Democrats are getting their war, you are ... well, now all the Democrats are praising Trump.

So, how does Trump's dick taste?

Man, I am so glad you were able to tell me what my political beliefs were. Here I was, thinking it was possible to dislike with Trump and not be pro-war. Thanks for showing me that disliking someone who just launched a ton of missiles into another country means I like launching missiles into other countries because everything is black and white, and if you're not a Trump supporter then you must stand for what people are saying Trump stands for despite him repeatedly showing that he stands for nothing because he is a habitual liar. Wow. You're amazing in your cuckoldry. I mean you do worship the ground Trump walks on because he's a god-emperor who is so vastly superior to you, don't you?

You're welcome. Glad you are finally understanding how bankrupt your ridiculous political opinions are, the ones you simply swallowed from Viacom's The Daily Show without thinking twice.

Glad to be of service.

So it seems I need to use small words for you to understand. I do not like Trump. I do not want war.

You are trying to blame others for your own ignorance because you were duped into thinking Trump had any idea how to lead a country. That, or, you knew a Trump presidency would be to the detriment of the US and don't really care because you would prefer to see the US collapse and are only here to try and rile people up.

There you go again, spewing months ago partisan talking points - as if Hillary Clinton wasn't gunning to start this war - she's praising Trump now.

Get a grip.

Why are you so obsessed with Hillary? Are you that desperate for a scapegoat? Hillary was corrupt. Trump is both incompetent and corrupt. It's not a matter of one or the other. They are both despicable excuses for human beings.

I'll give you that Hillary is a pro-war Democrat.

But not all Democrats wanted Hillary (probably because (I would say) most Dems don't want war either-- her feminist fans, at least, pushed for her despite her hawkishness, not because of it).

Either way, you can't have your Trump and still say the Dems got "their" war. Take some fucking responsibility.

He gave a list of items under investigation that gives us concern and have not been reconciled. Your response is to call him a kindergartener? You're sitting there with eye's closed, fingers in your ear, screaming "LALALALALALALACANT HEAR YOU"

You forgot probably the worst thing which is that Paul Manafort was his campaign manager.

the Russian interference in the election directly benefitting Trump,

Seroously?

Yeah.

What the hell do you think all the stupid bullshit about "Trump is controlled by Putin" was about? It was meant to force Trump's hand in Syria.

No, it is just an observation that Trump campaign is doing Putin's bidding.

Putin doesn't want Trump to take out his best ally in the middle east who protects his most important naval base.

So, no, Trump is not "doing Putin's bidding" - that's just dumb. I mean, really, really dumb.

But I understand you are not allowed to tell the truth - Trump is doing Netanyahu's bidding. But Democrats aren't allowed to say that, because Democrats are doing Netanyahu's bidding as well.

Christ you folks are pathetic.

Truth hurts, eh?

lol what would you know about truth mr partisan hackery?

How much it hurts you, for one.

Wishful thinking on your part, I assure you.

You can't even convince yourself much less anyone else.

Woe is me.

I hear this all the time, that Dems want WW3 with Russia, and I don't understand the argument at all. How would they possibly stand to benefit from everyone dying in a nuclear apocalypse? What on earth would be the motive for such a scheme?

Please reply, I'm genuinely interested, because I've asked this a bunch of times, and I'm yet to receive an adequate response

I don't know, ask the Democrats. They have been pushing for war against Russia, expansion of NATO, anti-Russian "color revolutions" in Eastern Europe, and the rest of it for a decade now.

So, no motive? Don't you think it's therefore more likely that, given no-one would want to die in a nuclear apocalypse that this isn't what they want? Perhaps they just want to contain Russian aggression? It just seems unlikely to me that there's a massive conspiracy, involving thousands of people, to no end whatsoever

Person's not even thinking or trying. Just "dems evil!" Pathetic doesn't even begin to describe it.

Russian aggression? It just seems unlikely to me that there's a massive conspiracy, involving thousands of people, to no end whatsoever

Oh, so the Russians are in a massive conspiracy, involving thousands, but Democrats just want to "contain Russian aggression?"

Good lord the Democrats have regressed all the way back to 1963 - it's like a new Cold War with these fanatics.

So Democrats will get the WWIII they have been hoping for.

God dammit! War is not a democrat/republican thing. Both sides want war. The deeper in bed they are with TPTB, the more they want war.

lol, funny how people like you blame democrats for what a GOP president is doing.

So are we at a point where we literally believe the opposite of what the MSM says?

That's how this sub has been for some time.

To be quite honest, I thought it was just pro-trump people pushing that narrative (a lot of posts here have said that MSM is reporting on trump-russia collusion which is "proof" it's untrue) but now that I'm seeing it here in an anti-trump context maybe it really is how people think.

Personally I don't think it's a good mindset. Divulge what facts you can from what the MSM reports and pursue your own as well

Believe the well sourced facts from reputable news orgs.

Completely ignore the punditry/spin/analysis.

It seems simple, but most people can't figure it out.

That's waaaay to nuanced for a lot of people. What people want are big organizations of 'the goodies' and 'the baddies' so they don't have to muster the effort to do their own investigating. For some people, 'the mainstream media' (which in America seems to mean any large news organization that isn't fox) falls into 'the baddies' category, so everything they say is just at the discretion of 'the baddies.'

It's the exact same with Donald Trump, where over the past few months people on this sub have been scratching their heads over weather the man is one of 'the goodies' or 'the baddies.'

If only life were actually that simple...

Yes.

Not quite, but any time a large majority of them suddenly all agree on something it means you should be paying close attention.

There is another possibility here: If Trump is in bed with Russia, then Putin may have seen it as acceptable to throw Assad under the bus so that Trump can quiet dissent from his strongest critics.

Russia was adamant about defending Assad because the US wanted to use Syria to strengthen their influence in the region. If the US and Russian interests align, then Putin's motivation to deffend Assad is significantly diminished.

I think it will be very interesting to see what comes next. If the above theory is correct, I would expect to see an offensive against Assad turn around and demolish ISIS right after.

This is a very interesting theory

Trump tricked his base.

I hate to be the "I told you so guy" (actually, No I don't). BUT I FUCKING TOLD YOU SO. SO DID MANY, MANY OTHER PEOPLE.

Trump has been compromised, I'm sure, by doing what we already knew Hillary would do.

How does Bill Kristol's statements have anything to do with the NYT or CNN's narrative? You do realize there is a difference between OP-Eds/Opinion Shows and the "news" right?

The MSM gave him credibility and positive coverage for the syria attack. This the same MSM that has picked him apart on every issue every single day.

I love how this post is about neocon Republican Bill Kristol praising Republican Donald Trump's decision, but all the comments are shitting on Democrats and the liberal media.

The right-wing echo chamber is inescapable for many. They were literally abused by false narratives, fake news, and a phony candidate.

Now, shit is hitting the fan, and they don't know how to respond.

I am a never-Trump liberal and I hate this. The MSM is just part of the scheme for war and money in with this US government. No clue why Democrats and Republicans are not outraged.

Like I said many times before the Syrian bombing, Trump is one of them. If you think otherwise you got duped.

He literally build his empire by being a con-man. People came out in droves to testify how they got screwed in business dealings or never got paid for a multi-million dollar job. I have no clue why people thought he is now a changed man.

Would you agree that Obama voters got duped as well? Seems like no matter who we elect the people get told false promises and business carries on as usual.

Would you agree that Obama voters got duped as well?

I got duped, I voted Obama in 2008. I was so passionate about him too. Some of his speeches during the campaign brought me to tears. I thought he was going to be the next JFK. Less than a year later, I knew I had been tricked.

Obama debates Obama - https://youtu.be/7BmdovYztH8

When are we going to realize that we have no real power, no real choice and actually do something about it? Probably not until it's too late.

Never. America will never rise up to overthrow the system. The American people are simply not built for revolution any more. We've been bought and sold so much that it's just not in us.

No, you just gotta go out and vote! This is all the voters' fault! If all 300 million came out on Election Day and voted for the good guys, things would change! Remember, this is a democracy! You chose this government!

  • Reddit liberals

Had people voted for Bernie...

Yeah. The establishment military industrial complex finds a way for war no matter who is in charge.

Until people acknowledge the class war going on they will continue to get duped by these people

But liberal tears are so tasty! Who cares if we are both considered human refuse by the 1% if I can just make others like me upset it makes the dildo the rich shove up my ass hurt less.

Would you agree that Obama voters got duped as well?

Absolutely. I was tricked. I believed the rhetoric because I wanted change so bad from those horrific Bush years. Little did we know at the time that Obama would be even worse with his policy but appear much better in his rhetoric; thus allowing more horrific polices to be implemented. Obama, in my opinion, was worse then Bush. Obama was a total disgrace and imposter and holds a large degree of responsibility for a Trump presidency

Another liberal Obama dupee, signing in.

If you support democrats you are not liberal. Modern day democrats are esseentially republicans. Obama was equal to Bush.

It's true, modern day Democrats are not "liberal" - the Republicans are far more liberal than the Democrats.

The Democrats are totalitarian globalists that support a cultural Marxist police state as domestic policy. Democrats are the opposite of "liberal."

Cultural Marxist police state

Are you sure you don't mean a "sociocommunized islamogynomarxist" police state?

No, cultural Marxist is the correct term.

You sure about that?

When Hillary Clinton said reforming Wall Street wasn't as important as fighting "sexism" and "racism" she was expressing the cultural Marxism ideology of the Democratic party.

The problem with orthodox economic Marxism - besides the fact it doesn't work - is that it interferes with the rich people who run the Democratic party.

So you get "Social Justice" Marxism instead. After all, Google.com has no problem with tranny bathrooms because that doesn't really hurt the bottom line now does it?

It's adorable how you desperately pose as smarter and more sophisticated than your perceived enemies. Never say that Viacom, the corporation that makes your favorite snarky Democrat TV shows, don't know their target market.

No, I'm sorry. As far as I'm concerned, "cultural marxism" is just the reddit SJW's version of "the patriarchy". It's just another ill defined buzzword that you use as a convenient label for things you don't like.

It's not an "ill defined buzzword." It's a well known intellectual trend, promoted by important intellectuals since the 1950s. They were called the "Frankfurt school."

The huge gap in your education is your fault, no one else's.

Democrats propose stronger taxes on corporations and the rich to better redistribute the wealth and create a country with greater infrastructure, medical care and wellbeing. The Republicans want to gut healthcare and allow the corporations and banks to fuck over poor/lower middle class people across the country. That is a fact. Republican party best benefits the rich, and will continue to service the rich (as has been proven by policy) AND will regress in social issues such as sexism and racism - without inverted commas because they are real things. Yet, for some reason, people think Republicans are saving the people of this country from the democrats. I just don't get it.

That is a fact.

No, it is not. Democrats want cheap labor, just like the corporations do. Democrats want open borders and mass immigration - just like the corporations do.

Democrats are for multiculturalism - just like the Fortune 500.

Cheap labour is an inevitability, the question is the measures put in place to combat it. For example, the idea of a national living wage as opposed to the minimum wage - the latter of which a majority of Republicans want to decrease, whereas the former of which has been proposed by many democrats. Add this to the tax and fiscal spending policies, as well as a litany of other indicators, and you have a bona fide guarantee that the Republicans are anti-working class, pro-corporatism and, ultimately, bad for America (unless you want an oligarchy, as in the case with the right's new best friend Russia). The democrats, whilst admittedly not perfect, represent the most working class- and middle class-friendly party in the dichotomy of American politics.

Cool so now you have moved from denying the Democrats are the cheap labor party to justifying the Democrat's support for cheap labor.

Well at least it's progress!

Ah yes, a Trump voter here (in a thread about Trump bombing Syria) to tell all liberals they can't vote for the Democrats because, dagnabbit, they just aren't liberal enough.

I'm absolutely certain that you're motivated by a noble desire to defend the purity of liberalism and not pro-Trump partisanship.

I am liberal in some ways. Conservative in others. Havent voted since 2004 in bush v. kerry. I voted kerry. Now i realize bush/kerry. Obama/mccain. Really all just turds from the same asshole. In this election i did prefer Trump. Felt he was more liberal than Hillary with all her "it take 4 minutes to launch a nuclear attack" talk. This is how i feel. This is my opinion. Classical liberalism is dying & being replaced by Totalitarianism disguised as liberalism. But since you know me lets stick with your story.

So, can you name anyone in American/global politics who you think represents your ideology closely at all?

I see who you are against. Which makes sense. But who are you for?

But who are you for?

There's no answer to that and that's how we ended up with a reality TV show host as president

Ron Paul should be in charge. But he doesnt appeal to instagram hipsters with their cool music & selfie sticks.

I dont agree w/ him on every issue. But i feel Ron Paul most closely represents me & is more liberal than most "liberals". But he is a mix of both much like myself. Anti-war & non-intervention are pillars of liberalism in my opinion. We do not have many of those on either side.

When you say "classical liberalism" are you referring to the philosophy with a heavy emphasis on small government and free markets? If so, that's a straight up bait and switch to previously just use the term "liberal" which is almost always used to mean the opposite.

Also, I'll admit that I made an unfair assumption about who you voted for (I just did a quick scroll through the first page of your comment history). But I'm gonna reserve the right to be highly fucking doubtful that someone who posts on The_Donald gives a fuck about liberalism.

You should also understand that if you want to see any other opinion than what the echo chamber at the front page dictates, you have to go to other places such as T_D, whether you align yourself there or not. I for one get pretty sick and tired of the same rhetoric regurgitated around reddit and after seeing people go out of their way to talk shit on and bring up T_D, I decided to check it out. Turns out it's nice being able to look at both biased ends to formulate your own opinion.

T_D is the biggest echo chamber on reddit. You are instantly banned if you say anything contrary to Trump.

You aren't instantly banned on front page subreddits for being pro-trump, conservative, or whatever, you're just usually downvoted. I've seen plenty of good conversations on politics, worldnews, etc between liberals and conservatives. I've never seen that on T_D, because it's not allowed. That subreddit is terrible for getting other opinions, since it's mainly shitposting and memes. Go to the conservative subreddit instead.

What exactly are you outraged about?

amazing, isn't it?

Trump turns out to be no better than McCain and Bush

To the surprise of very few people.

Unfortunately actually to the surprise of a lot of people. It's not like it wasn't obvious during the campaign that there is no reason to trust him with anything.

I don't know why anyone is surprised here.

He's the GOP's puppet. Literally here is the playbook:

“All we have to do is replace Obama. … We are not auditioning for fearless leader. We don’t need a president to tell us in what direction to go. We know what direction to go. We want the Ryan budget. … We just need a president to sign this stuff. We don’t need someone to think it up or design it. The leadership now for the modern conservative movement for the next 20 years will be coming out of the House and the Senate. […]

Pick a Republican with enough working digits to handle a pen to become president of the United States. This is a change for Republicans: the House and Senate doing the work with the president signing bills. His job is to be captain of the team, to sign the legislation that has already been prepared.” — Grover Norquist

Yes, Trump just signed on to the Globalist aka Deep State aka Israeli billionaire's team.

"Just"

LOL

Bill Kristol cofounded the PNAC, which advocated the US invading the Middle East, primarily for Israel's benefit. All they lacked was a "Pearl Harbor-like" event.

I wanted to punch Shepard Smith in his disingenuous face last night, as he cut Tucker Carlson off from talking about the lack of any evidence that Assad was actually responsible, just to praise Trump over and over for doing what the Neocons wanted.

God dammit I hate Shepard Smith!

That dude is probably the most robot like TV "anchor" imo

Nah that's Wolf Blitzer man.

Not allowed to have anybody tell the truth on TV. What a farce.

It's pretty funny how people are trying to paint Tucker Carlson as a good guy these days. He was one of the biggest media shills for the Iraq war.

People change ya know.

You forgot the /s

I think Tuckers show is entertaining. I don't rely on it to be informed. I also laugh a lot watching Bill O'Reilly, but it doesn't mean I even agree with him most the time.

News is just a genre of entertainment.

also was initially against leaking gov't docs.... now that it disbenefits the dems he is all for it ....hyporcrite....cucker carlson

Stop watching that crap.... We should start a boycott on all news channels let's get them where it hurts the advertisements.

I think anyone that believes Trump wasn't presented false or misleading intel will support this action.

I was reading through the comments in worldnews and was like WTF... everyone is supporting Trump?

This proxy war the USA/CIA is waging against Russia through Syria is way past getting out of hand. The way the MSM just blatantly lies about it...

I'm Canadian, but I'm sitting here thinking:

You just watched your country send troops over to Afghanistan and Iraq to fight 'al-queda' for the last 15 years, and you can't see through the bullshit and understand how that same enemy is now being supported by the US government in their war for regime change in Syria?

The top comment in the worldnews thread right now with almost 6500 upvotes?

Listen this may be unpopular, but we needed to do something. We told them that they could no longer use chemical weapons. We have to back it up. A limited strike on airfields isn't the worst thing. I am not a Trump guy, but clearly we couldn't sit back and do nothing

I know we legalized propaganda on our own citizens and whatever they are doing seems to be working. They support war, hate peace. The good guys are the bad guys, etc... Its Orwellian.

Why is it that Trump supporters are praising him for not being a pussy like Obama? There's some next level mental gymnastics going on here. Literally this morning all the trumplers at work were praising Trump for doing what the Mudslime Obama didn't have the balls to do. This is exactly what Trump supporters wanted, and should have known since he talked about it a lot during the campaign.

1 tomahawk missile = 1 saved child

He is not the one who ordered this

Well, he should leave then

Whether or not the gas attack was real or a false flag attack by the US or Russia is secondary now. Because Russia and the US are going to play tough and posture for a bit.

But then Trump and Putin are going to sit down and make a deal that they agreed on beforehand. Russia will work with the US in Syria and the US will drop sanctions.

Both leaders will go back to their country as "heroes" for avoiding a massive conflict. We're actively being conned.

It's like a fucking twilight zone. We have no voice, zero say. We are told to sit down and shut the fuck up. How much longer until we realize how truly powerful we are and start resisting this bullshit. We should be at war with our government

Get back in line citizen.

Isn't there a basketball game you should be watching or a celebrity you need to drool over?

or a celebrity you need to drool over

We already put one in the presidency

Repeat after me:"The nail that sticks out is the one that gets hammered down"

Steve Bannon was probably anti-false flag so they booted him from the security council before the CIA pulled the trigger on the chemical attack

Bwahahahahahahaw!!!11!!!11!2

Trump's (read: Bannon's) human centipedes are hilarious.

Steve Bannon thinks we are at war with "expansionist" Islam. This is exactly what he wanted. I suspect he was "booted" simply because Trump needs McMaster. And McMaster's a principled man who doesn't want to deal with Bannon's bullshit.

Anyone with a half a brain could have seen this coming from a mile away.

Look up Steve Bannon and the "Fourth Turning".

He believes in cycles of "crisis" that result in "turnings". The first 3 turnings were the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, and WW2.

He thinks the next "crisis"/"turning" is now and that "we are in an outright war". He thinks that the longer we (the "Judeo-Christian West") deny we are at war, the weaker we become against "expansionist Islam and China". "They are motivated. They’re arrogant. They’re on the march. And they think the Judeo-Christian West is on the retreat".

Wonder why Trump tough talks China so much? Or why Trump returned drone strike authority to the CIA and stopped disclosing how many US personnel are in Iraq/Syria?

https://np.reddit.com/r/conspiracy/comments/63mk83/steve_bannon_removed_from_national_security/dfw94fx/

On foreign policy, Mr. Kushner is more inclined toward intervention in the Middle East while Mr. Bannon would prefer that the United States remain as uncommitted as possible. Even as the president signaled this week that he might respond militarily to the chenical attack on civilians in Syria, Mr. Bannon has argued that American interests are better served by not getting drawn any further into the quagmire of a civil war

This is according to the New York Times

Actions speak louder than words. Trump and Bannon are well documented liars. Bannon thrives in chaos and confusion.

But keep believing your government's every word. I'm sure it'll work out for you.

Trumps supporters are going to be a laughing stock by the summer time.

They were a laughing stock last summer for falling for a con man

Everyone fell for a con last summer. Match me.

Is it too tinfoily to think that Trump spoke to Putin and said:

Trump: Gotta do something to appease people and make is seem like you didn't help me win.

Putin: Okay, bomb this airfield. No one is there. People will use this as proof there was no collusion. We don't really care about Syria anyway.

Trump: Great idea, daddy.

No, it's just too dumb.

Syria is the location of Russia's second most important naval base. Russia has even threatened nuclear war over Syria.

Your silliness would make a nice skit on the Daily Show or some other shallow and facile Democratic party comedy show, but it has nothing to do with reality.

Based on your previous posts, you're reality is in the 11th dimension.

If that is the best you can do, I'd drop your dream of writing for the Bill Maher and go back and get that degree in accounting or whatever.

Thanks for the life advice.

Quite plausible that they colluded. A few facts corroborated this.

Kremlin's spokesman yesterday claimed that Russia's support for Assad was not unconditional.

Pentagon confirms that Russia was warned before the strikes.

Pentagon denied SAA casualties, while Syria confirmed 5 dead (from 59 high precision missiles!)

T-Rex kept his planned trip to Moscow next week.

Look at the drone footage of the airfield after the missile strikes. It's like they did their best to avoid hitting everything.

This is my pet theroy, how the heck did Syria manage to clear out thr airfield that fast?

That is possible I guess but why do people think Putin is the daddy? Can't they be partners or maybe Putin is Trump's puppet? I don't get this weird fetishization people have when it comes to Trump and Putin.

He's playing the media and you're all falling for it

I hope you are right. Time will tell.

Gotta buy time to uncover secrets in Antarctica, plus I think he's strategizing to get advisors booted, that can't be easy with a target on your head

Let's see for the last month I've been posting here pointing out that the Democrats were lying about Trump being "controlled" by Putin and Russia. In fact, Trump is controlled by Netanyahu and the Israelis.

So what happened? One fake chemical weapon attack and Netanyahu demands Trump take action on Syria - Trump immediately complies. All pretense of peace with Russia (or "fighting ISIS" for that matter) goes right out the window.

Lessons learned: /u/jacks1000 is always right, Democrats are nothing but shills for the Israel lobby, and Trump's Israeli family is more important to him than Americans.

None of this should be a surprise to anyone who has paid attention for the last 20 years.

Moscow did recognize West Jerusalem as Israel's capital 2 days ago....

Trump is controlled by Netanyahu and the Israelis.

I've argued a lot about Trump being controlled by Russia in this sub over the last month. I haven't had anyone bring up his connections to point out his weakness.

This is one of the most concerning points I have observed about Trump. Move Israel embassy to Jerusalem? I mean WTF?

Israel and their power of US politics and war is scarry, having a president that seems to be gung ho Israel is even scarier. Nuttiyahoo is a sadistic fuck. If he has his way with US war powers, we could be in some serious wars.

The embassy thing is small potatoes. Trump has been spouting the Likud line for nearly 15 years.

I live being an American endless war that you literally no say over, crumbeling infrastructure and a failing healthcare system while we find Israel's and bomb other countries into oblivion. It's a fucking embarrassment.

Hundreds of years from now, people will hopefully look back on the US and see that representational democracy and capitalism just don't work well together.

I dont know if it's ever really existed or that we've had the social and technological structures to really pull it off.

A representative government based on fair and value added competition. Sounds amazing!

Lobbying is bribery. Corporations aren't held accountable. Foreign countries (Israel) openly boasting they run the show. . Huge problems

Politicians are not held accountable. If you hold their feet to the fire you somewhat contain the lobbying.

Democracy doesn't work for rich people, which is why you no longer have it in America.

"never had"

I'm genuinely curious as to what system you'd put in its place

Well, America isn't really supposed to be a democracy... it was founded as a constitutional republic...hard to see it as such now though

Well, one has to actually adhere to their Constitution in that situation though. THEREIN LIES THE RUB

At the rate we're going, nobody will be around in hundreds of years to look back.

Hundreds of years from now, people will hopefully have a say in how this stuff works.

His isn't a war.

And we PAY FOR IT ALL.

We are forced to pay taxes for war after war.

most of this debt won't be felt until your grandchildren are in college. We don't pay for it, the HR department uses data from the birth and marriage and death certificates to calculate man hours that WILL be available to pay back the debts in 40, or 80 year increments. The "bond" that the Federal Reserve Bank of New York (non federal entity) 'buys' (prints out of thin air notes equivalent to the value of the bond) is actually the promise to repay the debt by creating excess labor in the 40-80 year time span.

So I mean it's kinda cool being at the top of the pyramid scheme by being able to take advantage of NOT paying for anything the government does right now and just watch it slowly drip away... it's really our grandchildren at the bottom of the pyramid that will be dealing with severe austerity measures, a worthless dollar, and likely work camps to pay back the interest accrued by the 'loan'.

Look at it this way: the doomsday clock is hella close to midnight. They might not live long enough for that...

Silver lining? ¯\(ツ)

And sometimes we pay with the lives of sons and daughters, forced to fight these wars for corporations and the political profiteers.

That's the real payment for us, but it means nothing to them.

And if you refuse to pay for war, we'll throw you in jail. Oh , we might also need you and your future children to forcefully enlist for said war as well. Thanks...Big Brother

In WW1 the anti war movement in America had a lot of tax resisters. Some high profile ones were jailed, like Ammon Hennesy 'the Catholic Anarchist' who wrote a book about it.

They tend to leave a lot of them alone though, they don't want the bad publicity, and I guess they figure they can make people live a marginal and unhappy life by just keeping them from bank accounts and such.

Interesting, thanks for sharing. I did not know that.

Late-stage Roman Empire, especially with the lead in the water. Almost makes me want to laugh

our lead is the fatty food over consumption?

and yes, this is actually it for real for real, Trump is finished, but not the way you think he is.

Our lead is lead.

Yes, lead, and pesticides, and bad vaccines, and predatory health system would rather make $ than heal ppl.

Legit. Our right to healthcare is being held hostage. Most medical professionals don't even like the system as it is now.

It's sugar, not fatty foods. Plus the endocrine disruptors like bpa (and it's chemical cousins still in use), PFOA, agricultural and industrial chemicals.

Let's also not forget they used to put lead in gasoline, a special form that could be inhaled, during the infancy and youth of Baby Boomers. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tetraethyllead

jesus fucking christ, usa. early late stage capitalism.

Not so fun fact. The Romans boiled food in lead lined pots for the sweet flavor it imparts.

uhm...serious?

And people say history is useless..

Nothing lasts forever, enjoy the show - avoid the riots and burning cities.

Endless war that you literally have no say over

Oh you have a say, it just better not be anti-war or you're going to be shouted down as non-patriotic.

The only war worth fighting is class war

I love being an American. Endless war

I know this guy who is a sex addict. He is not very attractive and he has a very difficult time getting a woman to go to bed with him, but he has been very successful since the Iraq war began in 2003. He finds the names of young widows who lost their husbands, and the real good looking ones he treats real nice. Since they are grieving over their loss they are vulnerable and he eventually gets them into bed. Then he moves on to his next "victim". Sad, really sad.

Our infrastructure isn't crumbling and neither is our healthcare "failing".

Our corporate approach to healthcare is making healthcare less effective, more rushed and the outcomes are profit driven not result driven.

It's not the best overall t, but it's by failing. That's my point. That's just hyperbole.

A grade of D+ isn't failing!! Lol

Our infrastructure gets a grade of d+

But the infrastructure lobbying group. Its funny how unskeptical this sub is when it suits their biases.

you are a pussy

Maybe. How much combat pay do you have?

46

and how much WMD did you find?

53

Thats what i thought. Just another coward troll.

lol fag

Not even trying are you. Low energy bud.

I love how everyone I know is convinced by "analysts" that there's nothing sketchy going on here.

Can we just agree now?

Bernie Sanders Slams Trump's Airstrike On Syria [airstrike was praised by Clinton, Schumer, Pelosi, the media and the Republican party]

http://www.ibtimes.com/bernie-sanders-slams-trumps-airstrike-syria-2522629

Yes.

No man, that's obviously bullshit. We're stopping BAD GUYS!

59 missiles = 1 saved child

click like for more tomahawk missiles humanitarian aid

Trump slammed Obama on Syria intervention. Look what happened. Don't be fooled.

I couldn't agree with this fact more.

it'll be over soon, we all get to die.

Fuk that i was fooled into "supporting the troops"last time.

Not again

Those who support the air strikes;

  • Chuck Schumer
  • Nancy Pelosi
  • John McCain
  • Lindsey Graham
  • Mainstream media
  • Neo-cons
  • ISIS
  • MSM

Says it all. He caved in.

Israel, Saudi Arabia, ISIS, AL Qaeda

Wait, why are people suddenly against bombing Assad? When did it become ok to side with Syria?

Most people on both sides of the fence that know what's going on have never supported our military actions in Syria because it's all tied to lies and bullshit in service of imperialism, just like every other war. And because it's pretty obvious Assad did not carry out the gas attack, it makes zero logical sense for him to do so and is virtual suicide considering the position he was in. Why would he commit a war crime right on the eve of peace talks, just as he has all but wiped out Isis from Syria and both Trump and Tillerson have given tacit support to him remaining in power? What sort of mental gymnastics would be required to even consider this as a benefit to Assad in anyway?

Well, the other possibility is that he didn't order it but someone in his military still did it. I agree that it seems like a terribly stupid decision on his part if he did order it.

I wonder what would prompt someone in his military to go rogue, acquire, and then use illegal chemical weapons? It wouldn't be just some dumb guy messing around and accidentally gassing people. They would be taking orders from someone higher up than Assad.

Those who support chemical weapons being used against babies:

Shill spotted

Removed. Rule 10.

He watched one video, had an emotional response, and changed US policy as a result. This is why he is dangerous. It's not the bombing, it's the emotional decisionmaking.

If he watches Afghani, Iraqi and Pakistani weddings and funerals being hit by drone strikes, will he attack the US?

Underrated comment. Finally something to make me laugh in this weird, weird time as a (former) Trump supporter ready to walk away with my tail between my legs

For the love of God JOIN US IN DRAINING THE SWAMP. Stop voting based on emotions. I thought trump supporters were the best shot the Bernie supporters had at teaming up to oust the corruption. I was a fool.

Bullshit, Trump didn't listen to any of them in any other case, why would he cave in now?

Just deal with it, he duped all of you voters.

Except the media portrayal of him and the political class absolutely hating everything about him says otherwise, unless you think that's just some hugely elaborate LARP that inadvertently cucks themselves and exposes their own fuckery because loominatty?

Just deal with it, your logic is flawed.

What does that have to do with him caving in? You guys always said that Trump is different, he can't be influenced, now you are saying that the media portraying him negatively caused him to break?

I highly doubt it was just the media that made him do this, it's more likely that he has been blackmailed and is forced to do thejr bidding, like many politicians. Benjamin Fulford has even stated that there's a video of Trump raping a 12 year old and that this was used as the leverage, but take that for what you will.

CIA, mossad, big oil, the military industrial complex, to name a few more string pullers.

He always caved in. He never cared for his base it was obvious he was lying but people still bought ir

There is a huge psyop going on to cover up a load of crap. There is no left or right... only regards who believe a bunch of lies and their oligarch puppet masters.

It's up to those who voted for him to take to the streets and demand change. I mean if they can show up at his rallies, why don't they show up when they disagree with his policies? We've seen protests against Obamacare, where are their anti war protests?

As a center left person. I can say 90% don't have the backbone to practice what they preach.

We don't need another senseless war. But here we are.

No we didn't. As long as this was extremely limited. This gave us a strong negotiating position with China and punished Assad for something that we all found deplorable.

Those screaming will come around in a little while.

Trump has now put American openly on the side of ISIS.

When Trump said he would "bomb the hell out of ISIS" he misspoke, he meant to say "bomb the hell out of ISIS' enemies like Assad."

Oh we're going to continue bombing ISIS as well. We've got plenty of bombs. All we did was warn Assad that chemical weapons are forbidden and that unlike our previous President our new President will actually follow through with kinetic punishment.

It also happened as he's meeting with the Chinese President over North Korea which is perfect diplomacy.

It's perfect.

He's just playing 4D chess! Trust me! It only looks bad now!

It doesn't look bad.

Well the Israelis are certainly happy.

We needed to firmly re-establish our dominance on the world stage again after 8 years of pussyification under Obama. Trump did that last night and under the right circumstances.

Obama captured Osama Bin Laden and killed him - something the Republican Pussy Party and their Pussy-in-Chief George W. Bush couldn't do in 8 years!

Do you even realize how stupid you sound?

The red line that never was.

I'll take that as a "no, I don't realize how stupid I sound."

Obama didn't do shit he signed an order dumb ass.

He is a kind of living god. We mere mortals are not qualified to judge him on our level.

Pay attention kids, this is how you mental gymnastics.

You fucking idiots got played for chumps.

Go ahead and ban me. I don't give a flying fuck. You were wrong -- all of you -- and no amount of bans will save you from the embarrassment you're feeling.

Suckers.

Are you new here? You don't get banned from /r/conspiracy for stating your opinion.

Oh well. The ramp up was fun, it was nice for the first few weeks. But now he's just one of those empty suits that sit in that chair. He'll do what he is told from now on.

They stabbed themselves in the back....

Because they didn't vote for crooked Hillary, yeh right.

Do you think HRC would have nominated Gorsuch?

Read Wikileaks. Hillary is as corrupt as they come. Seriously get educated.

Ok, so no answer. Also, I have read most of the Wikileaks on her. Not much there...but, then again this is the Pizzagate sub...

Taking money from foreign companies to approve contracts is treason. It is there in her own words. Just because Feinstein and every other politician is doing does not make it legal or in the best interests of the people of the US. I am not arguing this. You do your own research, which you clearly have not.

Source?

oh come on look it up. She's selling state secrets to foreign countries, allowing classified emails to exist on insecure home servers, LIBYA? Seriously you have no allies talking up Clinton on this thread.

I'll admit I am hugely disappointed in Trump over this decision. Maybe there are things we don't know that would change my mind but on the face of it he does not look to be the anti-establishment outsider i allowed myself to believe that he just might be.

I am also HUGEly dissapointed in r/the_donald; i thought that just maybe this was a place where we could all pull together and discuss things freely. I was severely wrong seeing the amount of censorship taking place in the Syria threads. Nearly half of the comments have been deleted and i was banned for expressing my disappointment. I knew that BS was rampant in some of the less-savory corners of reddit but i never thought it would happen there.

Shame on you r/the_donald mods. Shame on you. You claimed to be above such things and just lost a lot of credibility with at least this independent thinker and i hope a bunch more.

haha I'm having a hard time believing it took you this long to be banned from there. They've got the swinginest ban hammer in town!

The threads aren't censored, liar. I was in there calling people cuckservatives and I was fine. Shame on you.

Bullshit. They wiped dissent as it was posted last night

I am also HUGEly dissapointed in r/the_donald; i thought that just maybe this was a place where we could all pull together and discuss things freely.

Serious question. How did you sincerely think that? It is the most tightly controlled narrative sub on Reddit. I've bashed Clinton multiple times on her own sub and politicaldiscussion and have never received a ban.

I knew things there were going to go downhill quickly when Trump chose Pence as his VP.

The way that sub quickly rationalized his choice as a brilliant move was full on hamster wheel in action.

Bro the rest of us got banned months ago. You should have realized this earlier, but at least you did :)

Ann Couleter, Mike Cernovich, and PJW are pissed about this. Eric Broiling, too, but less so. T_D however is all about having Jeb Bush's cabinet and foreign policy now. wth happened?

I predict either Trump is finally cooperating with the intelligence community to discourage sinking with the rest of his ship.

Or Russia picked out the targets for Trump to divert MSMs attention and pull the veil over the American people. Syria is Russia's puppet and we "informed" them of the attack. It just doesn't add up.

Russia did not deploy any of its S-300 MAA. They literally let all the 59 rockets pass by .....

The American and Russian governments will both talk this shit up and pretend that they are escalating the conflict. Then they will save the whole fucking world by agreeing on a tremendous deal. That deal will include the US removing sanctions on Russia, in return for Russia leaning on Assad to not use chemical weapons on his own people. Nobel Peace Prize for Trump and Putin for averting nuclear armageddon.

Winners: Trump, Putin, Exxon

Losers: Syria, America

That seems improbable. Got any more evidence of such a thing in the works?

How is that improbable? Everything Russia does should be looked through the lense lifting sanctions. And considering the current circumstances, people should consider everything this administration does has Russia's interest in mind in regards to foriegn policy.

It doesn't make sense for Assad to use gas without Russias permission. We informed Russia of the targets and they did nothing to stop it. And the targets aren't strategically significant.

The Russian narrative should be the least trusted narrative. The donald narrative will always pull the most extreme gymnastics to make it fit. We can point the blame on other "nefarious" countries or non state actors. But every source I've seen is click bait, ad ridden and not sourced.

Yeah as much I normallt don't buy into conspiracy theroies, this one is really bugging the shit out of me.

I got banned from T_D...

Your better off.

You're*

Trump bombs Syria, but real story is MSM, lol.

I don't think the story about Assad using chemical weapons makes any sense at all. And the same day as I hear about it in 30 different media outlets who all use the same terms, I also hear that there were 59 cruise missiles deployed, because, well what Syria really needs is a whole lot more bombs dropped on them.

The patriot act was introduced to congress on October 23.

Yeah and it was finished on 9/10 and sitting on Biden's desk.

Lol, this a joke right?

Uh I don't know what the hell I was thinking so I went to and looked.

Biden drafted the omnibus counterterrorism act in 95 a few months prior to OKC bombing.

That laid the groundwork for the patriot act and as you said it was ready to be passed when the towers fell. They just need a convienent terrorist attack to assure its passage.

Thanks for alerting me to my error

No didn't say that the patriot act was ready to pass when the twin towers fell. It was drafted and passed over a month later is what I said.

Trump "alienated his grass roots supporters". LMFAO Have you been to r/The_Donald today?

The entire sub is going through a ban wave while attempting Olympic level mental gymnastics to make this okay in their heads.

Just because they all suffer from Stockholm Syndrome dosent mean they like it right now.

T_D removes all negative opinions of him. Clearly you did not see the Ron Paul quote that was #1 last time I checked.

They've just removed everything, obvious it looks like there is 0 negative press now. The Ron Paul quote that is #1 here right now was #1 there for a while. There were plenty similar posts. /pol/ is up in arms and so are his well known supporters.

They didn't remove everything. Go a ways into my comment history and watch some vicious arguments. I didn't get banned, either. I'm living disproof to the lies that are told about r/The_Donald's echo chamber.

There were hundreds of comments of pissed off supporters with hundreds of up votes within the first 20 minutes of the post going up. The mods weren't prepared and the cracks were showing until they started mass banning and deleting comments about 45 minutes in. This guy and anyone spouting concern trolling is full of shit.

Hah people who can think for themselves rather than being told what to think should not apply. This was clear last night when the first comments were pouring in and expressing their outrage at this attack. They were mass banned and the thread wasn't under control until they came up with a bullshit power move script to tout. You keep on lying to yourself all you like but don't spread that bullshit here

check out voat.co
Trump supporters are split down the middle.

Good job linking that. That's what the shills don't want people seeing. They're trying to fabricate a wedge using antiwar activists, failing to understand the intensity of the antipathy that antiwar activists have towards the deep state following Obama's treachery in office.

r/The_Donald is shills. That's the point. They were against engaging in Syria right up until when Trump did. Now they're all for it.

He told you exactly what kind of person he is.

Now that Obama’s poll numbers are in tailspin – watch for him to launch a strike in Libya or Iran. He is desperate.

He is running the presidency exactly the way he believes that a president runs things.

Trump is the latest tool of the elite, it's becoming more and more obvious. He is their trump card, the crucial part of their plan, a nice double mindfuck for us. It's been clear to me since the economist cover.

But was he supposed to win, or is he finally understanding his role?

Supposed to win would be my guess.

He wasn't supposed to win period I was incredibly skeptical about the Russian connection but from what I'm seeing, the evidence speaks for itself. He is just selling us to a different buyer

8D Go !!

No Trump "red lines", Russia played along, Kim afraid, Xi got the message, Assad scared, warhawks sedated, Putin-Trump scandal brought to halt, GOP nuclear on passing Gorusch,

Who the fuck here is surprised? I remember my Trump supporter friends trying to convince me to vote for him: "He's the more passive candidate. He's not a warhawk like Hillary. He wants peace-talks and deescalation of foreign wars"..... Trump is a pawn, just like every president who came before him in a pawn. I wish I could agree that people are waking up, but they aren't. They saw all of the horrific photos of dead children plastered across the TV, they ate up the anchors and politicians who said this was the evil Assad, and now the drum beats are marching and Trump's approval rating will go up...

Whilst I agree with your analysis, it was worth a try. He "might" have been different. Dinesh Dsouza said it best when he said you are voting for a known evil or an unknown in Trump. I'm gonna go back and try and enjoy my life now as a NWO peon

can someone please explain to me what assad had to gain by using a chemical weapon from the god damn 1930s on a war he was winning?

false flag

My theory is that Russia set up Assad as a fall guy to give Trump something to point to and say SEE NOT A PUPPET.

I'm a bot, bleep, bloop. Someone has linked to this thread from another place on reddit:

If you follow any of the above links, please respect the rules of reddit and don't vote in the other threads. (Info / Contact)

Wait, how does this alienate his grass roots campaign. He literally said he was going to carpet bomb them during the election.

Thank you for posting this. I swear people are so easy to manipulate. People hate Trump but when it comes to war and killing people they stand behind him. It's pretty amusing, they think they are the logical ones reacting like everyone else on social media but they don't realize how dumb they sound

the world looks to America to act

Yeah, but not out of hopeful expectation; out of fear.

msnbc has been sucking his dick all day and saying how obama has been a failure for his inability to start a war.... we are fucked.

Trump didnt order it, the CIA did. If Trump did anything, it was with a gun to his head.

That's some awesome mental gymnastics there.

You really think a President is in control?

Looks like Trump caved in to the CIA and their cronies, and is now doing exactly what Clinton was gonna do.

Wow. Assad is going to get killed.

My theory:

Trump is a narcissist. He wants to be accepted due to his huge ego. Many people who were friends of his have said this in the past. Most recently, howard stern came out and said Trump is the kind of guy who just wants to be accepted deep down inside, and wants people to like him. Stern also mentioned that he feels trump is probably miserable as president due to the constant negativity from the msm.

I think he made a deal with the devil(deep state, tptb, etc) - take out Assad like they did to gadaffi and sadam, and tptb will start to flip the narrative of trump in the public eye. They will make him seem like a more universally accepted president.

In exchange for this, Trump has to ease up on the Obama/surveillance scandal and pedo stuff.

In the end, trump gets what he wants. acceptance. And history will remember him as a good president that had a rough start.

TLDR; Trump agreed to take down Assad in exchange for sympathy from the higher ups that can change the media narrative.

Easily the simplest and most human theory that I've heard yet.

But God, I hope it isn't true. I mean, what a crippling personality flaw for a president to have.

One note, I don't think Trump ever really cared about the surveillance shit or the pedo scandal really. He was always pro surveillance at any rate.

Rothschild is dead

Soros is very old

The real Controller has to change the pieces now - the left is dispensable, the controllers will now turn to the right. What you will see in the coming days is the "Ascension of Donald Trump ". Everything will be positive, polls will be high, everybody will love him( because the media, social media will say so) .

And we will keep fighting this fight of right vs left, while the Controllers flip the board once again.

very true, but if we focus on the issues at hand, we can stay united despite the puppeteers.

Nah man, social media will hate trump forever, my twitter feed is full of it

Feel the power of the Dark Side!

Just got stabbed?

Feels like we have been bleeding out for some time now.

I'd just like to add that this was Bernie's response:

If there’s anything we should’ve learned from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, in which the lives of thousands of brave American men and women and hundreds of thousands of Iraqi and Afghan civilians have been lost and trillions of dollars spent, it’s that it’s easier to get into a war than out of one.

Bernie is not a principled man. He would have said the opposite if the person with the strikes had a D next to his name. I know a lot of folks in here like him, but it's time to let go of the fiction.

It's possible. Bernie is clearly an emotional guy, and this sometimes leads him to say some regrettable things. I still think he truly cares about the American people and wants what's best for them, unlike Trump and many other politicians.

What kind of moron thought he would be any different?

Maybe I was naive but I thought he was the one. I thought Trump could clean this up, but I guess I underestimated the power of the deep state and international players who care nothing for the betterment of humanity. Sad times...

MSN is praising Trump for "his flexible principle". God I hate neocons and their establishment Democrat counterparts.

I'm just here to choke on the popcorn I'm supposed to be eating. WTF.

Fucking traitor

I guess the people that voted for Trump are also for gassing children, not surprising at all LOL

I can't believe I am in agreement with red pill peeps. I am a hardcore ANTI-TRUMP patriot. This Syria thing is bullshit! We tell Russia - Russia tells Syria. What a sham.

You're not in agreement with red pill peeps. We aren't interested in spreading Russia's narrative about the Syrian chemical weapons attack being a false flag. We investigated it and took it seriously - it was all T_D could talk about for a bit - and then discarded it.

You are spreading the astro-turf. Of course Assad didn't do the chemical attack - it was not in his interests to do so - he only loses by this.

He was eviller than he was smart. It was a standard arrogance of a vicious man in power. He believes he rules through fear, and he thought he had a window to spread fear without repercussion. Dropping chemical weapons and getting away with it would terrify his people into deeper submission.

It's hilarious watching you pretend to have some sort of grand insight on Assad's psychology, but we all know you are just copy and pasting Israeli talking points to promote another war.

If you had an ounce of decency you would be ashamed of what you are doing and close your account immediately.

discarded... you mean censored?

I'm afraid we'll have to agree to disagree. I'm sorry you think I'm a shill. I'm not. I'm not being paid by soros either. I am an American patriot who believes that Putin has compromised the President of the United States.

That doesn't mean anybody is better than Trump at all. But if Trump carries out the neocon policy, we have to call him out with no authorization from congress.

It's left me wondering if he was a quisling from the start or did the cabal finally find some kind of leverage that'll work on him.

Either way it's pretty disappointing.

--Rand Paul 2020 He's our only hope

/r/the_randal <--- meme magic

/r/randpaul (more serious)

The alienation is less profound than you expect. Trump's grassroots is attentive to the fact that "it's a false flag" is Russia's preferred narrative to the strike, and we aren't interested in being Russia's puppets even if this forum is. <3

God, I love the turnabout play. It's so transparent.

Actually the truth is the opposite. Trump's grassroots support is aware of the potential false flag, and they've been effectively split on their opinion of the missile attack.

I'm quite aware that they're aware of the potential false flag. I thought it was a false flag myself. The split is healing quite aptly as activists share information and realize that the official Syrian-Russian story of events includes blatant falsehoods, thereby indicating that Syria really did do it.

source?

No they didn't, they got duped! Trump is just about as establishment as you can get. He's admitted to funding candidates from both sides of the aisle in the past. He's just on whichever side will line his pockets, like he's always been.

Well duh. TPTB want war. So they will definitely turn the narrative on its head when Trump abandons his isolationist stance and falls in step with the neocons.

And the useful idiots will spend half a day spouting out "I told you so's" and then fall in line with the new statua quo preached by the MSM.

"we have always been at war with Eurasia".

Jared Kushner is now in charge of US policy.

And first it was Bannon who's "in charge of US policy". Then it was Tillerson. Now it's Kushner? Who's gonna get accused next of being the one "really" in charge?

He is normal. He is fighting Israel's wars with American tax payer money!!

Trump was never for the working class. He's just the same as all the other elite politicians, in it for the money. The working class got fucked over a long long time ago, but live in hope and get sucked in.

Meanwhile his cult still can't stop sucking his dick long enough to realize they got played and admit it

They probably never will. Bush supporters, Obama supporters, and Bernie supporters are all the same way.

I supported Bernie right up until he took a weeks worth of last minute donations before endorsing Hillary and dropping out, the left has its zealots and so does the right but lets not pretend they're anywhere close to the Trump cult.

He bombed a chemical weapons facility... everyone is acting like he just bombed a town or something. Zero casualties. We have to wait and see what happens next, but as of now I'm still on the Trump train. I do NOT want war, but this was minimal. Media is blowing it up into something crazy while frothing at the mouth. I think it may have been a brilliant move for Trump. Now we wait and see.

. Media is blowing it up into something crazy while frothing at the mouth.

Source? Because the media I've seen has been praising Trump for his actions.

Thats right. Its covered 24/7. Their frothing at the mouth hungry for war.

Oh okay. I guess I associated frothing at the mouth with anger rather than salivating.

I've gone from 100% supportive to sitting on the fence now. When Killary, McCain and Paul Ryan are cheering you on you should consider if your actions were right.

You know Trump fucked up when even Milo Yiannopoulos and Alex Jones call him out on it.

And Stefan, and Mike, and Ann, and PJW, and me, and my friends...

The Bush Obama legacy continues...

The Deep State is panicking and trying to wring out its enemies in one fell swoop.

Trump didn't change! Everybody just fell for his bull. I don't think people shouldn't be on this subreddit if you think we really have a choice on who gets elected.

The working class has been stabbed in the back from day 1 of Trump's presidency

It is amazing how all of the negative comments and articles about Trump melted away overnight on CNN, MSNBC, WP & Google News the moment he went back on the wagon and started helping ISIS against Syria. Most of the media thrives off of war and destruction.

Trump did what Israel and Netanyahu told him to do, so all of a sudden the media loves him.

Trump is a perfect lesson in "controlled opposition". Think about how preoccupied and distracted trump supporters have been with the Russia collusion narrative. Then shit like this slips through. It's no coincidence that all these stories about the rise of Kushner coincide with Bannon's firing from the NSC and the Syrian airstrike.

Also, isn't it interesting that we were given the information about the exact amount missiles, the exact location of the strikes and the exact amount of casualties? Troops involved in the operation don't even know that much. I mean, when does that ever happen during a military operation?

Furthermore, Alex Jones and his weird transition from supporting Ron Paul to supporting Trump raises alarms. Do you think Ron Paul supports this? Why isn't Alex listening to him instead of neocon trump? Assad has been using chemical weapons this whole time, (possibly clandestinely supplied by the Russians) and all the sudden we give a shit?

Kushner is the son of a Mossad agent, Charles Kushner. He's clearly becoming the power behind the throne.

Yes, he's a Jew - yes, he's a Zionist.

If Americans continue to allow Jew Zionists to infiltrate our country and our government, we are going to have to deal with the same Jew Zionist shit over and over again.

It's time for the USA to declare independence from Israel once and for all.

From all reports- it was a staged event. Trump seems to want to be King of the Swamp. In this age of 'no news can be trusted'- I am holding my judgement.

Trump supporters are surprised?

Hey, I voted for Clinton in the [general] election. She may be a piece of shit, but I knew what I was getting into. Seems like Trump supporters didn't understand he was a hack from day 1.

She would have done the same, if not worse in Syria. We are disappointed because he was *supposed to be different.

Right. He was a con artist, and people fell for it.

That these terrible people now support Trump should tell Trump something. It should tell him that he sold out, and betrayed the people who got him elected.

Yep. Business as usual. Is anyone making a list of his sins?

I think I can spin this the right direction.

The media in our country is in a shitstorm over a fake Russian interference with our election. This minor air-strike destroys that narrative.

The Russians at the base were warned ahead of time, but Moscow was not warned. This makes it look like USA is not coordinating with Moscow, when in fact, I am positive they are--Trump likes to be unpredictable.

Let's not forget that this war was pre-existing.

I hope there are many more deals going on behind the scenes.

What a coincidence that the war ships that fired those tomahawk missiles left Rota naval base in Spain just a few days ago. This is all so fishy especially for a president that said he didn't want to mesa on foreign affairs. Same old story again and again. Also, Asad may be guilty of this attack, but where are proofs ? Everybody rushed pointing the finger and trump pulls the trigger on his own. Where are UN resolutions about these kind of situations?

CNN is cheering on trump because in a few years from now they can attack trump over Syria when he runs for office, even though they were gunning to bomb Syria.

Can we just agree now?

Bernie Sanders Slams Trump's Airstrike On Syria

http://www.ibtimes.com/bernie-sanders-slams-trumps-airstrike-syria-2522629

Didn't alienate this supporter MAGA

The craziest thing is that the Jared Kushner story just got totally dropped. I didn't hear it mentioned at all today.

Lol just now you realize trump lied to you and never cared about his base? You are guilible people

Let's say for argument's sake that the chem attack is not a false flag and is entirely legitimate.

Why is it suddenly America's job to intervene with act's of revenge on the behalf of the victims? I don't understand when/where this is decided.

I know this isn't what really happened. I'm talking about the public version of events and how this is so easily accepted.

OP plays 2D Chess.

This is exactly how dialectics work. This is how you manipulate the people endlessly. This is reality control.

"Stabbed in the back" assumes he was working for you in the first place. He wasn't.

Never was.

Never will be.

People are funny.

I don't understand how anyone couldn't/can't see how much of a con man he is.

'Killary' hatred blinds. All hatred blinds.

I can see how the left backed down on the anti-war front when their savior Obama was in office, but now they are praising the person they hate the most and literally call "literally Hitler" for bombing a country that has never even attacked us via proxy? My douchebag coworker who is my gauge for leftist brainwashing stands up in the middle of a quite office to complain about the "alt right" speaking out against the airstrike. WTF is happening?

I guess the communist are so pissed at Russia for growing out of their soviet hell hole they will march us into an nuclear war just out of spite.

Interesting way to twist the narrative back onto us Anti-Trumpists. No, I'm sorry we're not all supporters of War Trump. I've always rejected everything of his because it was obvious he was bad news.

Former Trumpists you are not absolved of your sins. You promoted this war mongerer and fought us real conspiracy theorists for years.

No, it's too early for absolution.

How about you sit with the blood on your hands for half a second.

You could have chosen to oppose both Trump and Hillary, but you didn't. Own that shit.

If you want to join the real Conspiracy movement, instead of this fake Russian/Trumpist one, let us know, but it require you to stop promoting the Republican/Democrat war machine. Before the wars, not after.

Get off your soap box grandpa. No one here who supported Trump has blood on their hands. What a drama queen you are. Most people who I see in this sub who supported Trump are appalled by what he's doing, you don't run or own this sub so you can just fuck off.

so you can just fuck off.

Nah, I'll keep my free speech. You nutter haven taken that from me yet.

The blood is on your hands, and you should own it.

We fucking had Bernie.

They've been trolling you since the beginning. Anyone who isn't a dummy knew this.

What a moronic statement. What did they do then? The biggest reverse psychology experiment ever by having the media attack President Trump 24/7 during the campaign? Thinking the elites wanted Trump over Hillary or anyone is RETARDED as fuck.

Believe what you want. Trump was chosen by the Bilderburgers.

They've been trolling you since the beginning. Anyone who isn't a dummy knew this.

I don't know why everynes so mad..he stabed them in the back because he took action

Both candidates were pro-war It was either war with Russia or war with Iran. Syria is a stepping stone to Iran.

Um, no lol

Have you guys said it here because it's been said in /r/politics . This is a crisis concocted between Trump and Russia, where Trump will have sanctions lifted after a wonderful (but really pointless and useless) agreement is made between America and Russia.

And yes, Assad didn't really do a chemical attack. That was completely fake and a false flag attack.

It's almost as if he was a puppet all along (like the other candidate) and setup to seem like the underdog so he can channel America's frustrations into a form that TPTB wanted. Who would've thought that a man born into that kind of privilege would ever turn his back on the working man? Or that the two-party system is a rigged horse race used by the elites to give the masses a feeling of control? Unimaginable, right?

It is the litmus revealing NWO agenda or not. Do pay attn yo who it revealed, they are the enemy to democracy, freedom,

Here's a conspiracy theory:

So Trump says "shit this Russia thing is getting hot, what can I do?" His people call Putin.

Putin says "tell you what, I'll tell Assad to gas the rebels in Ildib, you pretend to be totally outraged & make a token strike on Assad's airfield. Make sure not to totally destroy it.
I'll pretend to be outraged & do a little sabre-rattling. That way, the pro-CIA Liberal types who are after your ass will totally rally to your side, they'll stop accusing you of being too friendly to Russia, & later you can patch it up and say your statesmanlike intervention prevented World War III."

And Trump said "perfect, great idea!"

https://twitter.com/davidgraeber/status/850726826871857152

What should a strong president do when a leader supposedly uses gas on his own people? Should he do nothing and appear indecisive or weak? Maybe even look afraid? Should he send in even more of young American men and women to fight these evildoers, getting even more of them killed in high numbers? Or should he send a message with zero troops on the ground, that he means business and will strike APPROPRIATELY to any attack? Without any antiseptic PR, what do YOU think he should do? And remember, when Barry was slow to react, he was labeled indecisive and weak.

How can you claim Trump is weak? Maybe you're imagining things.

What does that statement even mean?

I for sure think this is a false flag along the lines of the deep military industrial complex staged a chemical attack to bait trump into action which sadly worked it looks like

Based on your previous posts, you're reality is in the 11th dimension.

Well, he should leave then

Just like 9/11, controlled demolition.

Get back in line citizen.

Isn't there a basketball game you should be watching or a celebrity you need to drool over?

Your better off.

Taking money from foreign companies to approve contracts is treason. It is there in her own words. Just because Feinstein and every other politician is doing does not make it legal or in the best interests of the people of the US. I am not arguing this. You do your own research, which you clearly have not.

Literally no-one is calling for war with Putin. Is this what fox is saying?

The left doesn't want war with Putin. You must be referring to liberal Dems.

Democrats = left

Not necessarily leftists

Dont get so wound up bud

A man is seen running away from a burning house. His clothes smell like gasoline. He has an empty package of matches in his pocket. He was seen last week arguing with the homeowner where he yelled "I'll burn your house down!." In the last 3 towns he lived in, houses burned down.

I know he didn't start the fire though, because my neighbor set the house on fire. I didn't see him do it, or have evidence that he did it, but I fucking hate my neighbor.

Whatever, you and Hillary are not gonna make me mad. You are in the same boat I am. That you want to be an unpleasant person with irrelevant musing about what could have been if we were all as uninformed and ignorant as you.

lolwat? how is that calling for war with Russia? Are you saying that launching cruise missiles at a sovereign country isn't "an act of war"? that is the text book definition of an act of war...whether you agree with it or not doesn't change what those words mean.

The economy crashed because of Bill Clintons repeal of Glass-Steagal not Bush.

And Obama's economic growth was subpar for a recovery period.

Insurance doesn't matter if your deductible is 10k and your premiums are more than your mortgage payment. Oh, about that keeping your doctor and keeping your plan thing? Nope. Big lie.

Obama was a con. They all are.

It's like they haven't seen his cabinet and supreme Court appointments.

People are so reactionary.

It's clear a lot of people never bothered to listen to Trump. It was obvious a war in the Middle East was going to happen. He is going to 'wipe ISIS off the face of the earth'. And keep the oil.

'Peace through strength' we're his words I believe. This bombing seems more like a message than an effective strike. Also shut down the Russia narrative.

Is Trump being played or the player? I still don't think that is clear yet.

You're absolutely delusional

The media says they are happy that Trump took action against the chemical weapon attack.

You disagree with the media.

The only conclusion is that you don't want action against the chemical weapon attack. It's not rocket science.

Firing missiles at a Syrian military base is an act of war. That's not really a debatable point, it's just a simple fact.

Now what does that have to do with wanting war with russia?

Wait, do you mean to tell me that a person born into immense wealth because of growing globalization, may have not been the anti-globalist, man of the people, he tweeted about?

It's even worse: Deconstructing the mythos of Donald Trump

I don't think anyone has questions about him using them before. The "white helmet" video throws some shade on the whole thing.

Weirder is that the very voices that were screaming RUSSIA COLLUSION are now spreading Russia's preferred narrative about the chemical weapons strike. Isn't it interesting? It's almost like they were never concerned with Russian influence at all.

Yeah, you're totes behind Trump.

Did it ever occur to you to try not lying? You might find yourself more persuasive if you tried not lying.

Stop watching FOX news! Watch MSNBC instead!

Fucking stop voting against your own interests!

Yeah, because that's totally a real thing people actually do, and not a lazy partisan smear founded out of making no attempt to understand why other people vote differently.

whoa man you need to take a breath. Elites are pro war. ALWAYS. So, the big man Trump has either accepted his role as establishment war hawk, or he is at least trying to make it clear he is not a friend to Russia. Either way, he's capitulating to the military industrial complex lies.

If it were Clinton, we'd be in the same position. Talking about a CIA false flag like it was Assad being a dangerous idiot, and then pushing the nation into another war based on lies.

I'm sure he will follow up fully with this promise even though he didn't with most of his others. /s

>implying that pizzagate has any substance

>implying there haven't already been many Benghazi investigations

oh come on look it up. She's selling state secrets to foreign countries, allowing classified emails to exist on insecure home servers, LIBYA? Seriously you have no allies talking up Clinton on this thread.

Look it up.

Has no intention of prosecuting Clinton either, and even led a standing ovation in her honor at his inauguration luncheon.

That's what it has been since the beginning. And they are unapologetic about it.

That was beautiful

Hah people who can think for themselves rather than being told what to think should not apply. This was clear last night when the first comments were pouring in and expressing their outrage at this attack. They were mass banned and the thread wasn't under control until they came up with a bullshit power move script to tout. You keep on lying to yourself all you like but don't spread that bullshit here

Yeah that makes sense.

I guess I don't see a reason why it couldn't be a reddit feature, if not a bot.

Republicans seem to have an odd knack for electing incompetent morons to the highest office. Plenty of Republican politicians are well-spoken but they just don't win with the voters nationally.

I'll never forgive Obama for escalating the surveillance state. He boxed us in so we'd be even more vulnerable when insane Republicans like Trump came to power. That's not even to mention all his other broken promises.

It's hilarious watching you pretend to have some sort of grand insight on Assad's psychology, but we all know you are just copy and pasting Israeli talking points to promote another war.

If you had an ounce of decency you would be ashamed of what you are doing and close your account immediately.

Jeff Bezos and Carlos Slim?

I supported Bernie right up until he took a weeks worth of last minute donations before endorsing Hillary and dropping out, the left has its zealots and so does the right but lets not pretend they're anywhere close to the Trump cult.

Repeat after me:"The nail that sticks out is the one that gets hammered down"

The wall won't help fix immigration. There are better Solutions, and a lot of them, none of which are nearly as expensive as the fucking wall. Legalize marijuana and cut the cartel profits in half- watch immigration drop.

Get off your soap box grandpa. No one here who supported Trump has blood on their hands. What a drama queen you are. Most people who I see in this sub who supported Trump are appalled by what he's doing, you don't run or own this sub so you can just fuck off.

I feel you. Same boat, except I still wouldn't have voted for him 2020. The ME intervention was why I knew I couldn't vote for Hillary. I went third party because of it.

Seeing this just makes me lose hope. I didn't really care too much about him winning because I thought that at least we'd avoid more conflict in the middle east. Well, fuck. I don't think presidents have the power to avoid it anymore. We don't vote for the people who make that decision I think.

Now we get to deal with his crazy bullshit and Syria on top of it. Good times.

So why respond now?

Believe what you want. Trump was chosen by the Bilderburgers.

Greed always wins.

No doubt.
