I personally don't think so. If aliens wanted to control the world, if the had the technology to communicate with humans and control them then I think there would be much simpler ways to do it

It's because of Free Will. They had to manipulate our governments and us to willfully accept this control system albeit unknowingly. They couldn't just drop down and herd us into pens because of some universal law of Free Will which I don't fully understand.

Personally, I think it is highly possible. The reason why we don't hear much about this is because information is being accurately controlled by intelligence agencies so that it almost never reaches the hands of mass media. Incident in Roswell, words of a former Canada defence minister, Area 54, history of ancient civilizations , African tribes that basically tell the same tale about a certain alien race taking over Earth etc. etc. There a lot of infomation to look at, ignoring it is stupid. There are many questions, but information on this is staggering.
