Is this story honestly front page news? Look at everything happening around the world, and then this story about one random man being legally kicked off a flight (no matter how wrong it was for United to do so). This is a story that shows up for a minute or two during the daytime news because it's honestly not that newsworthy.

Media cares about clicks and views and this story is going viral yet CNN doesn't even put out a blurb about it on their front page, a page that has a hundred stories.

This is an example of how media is bought by advertisers and how advertisers influence what is and is not covered.

I don't know, man. If CNN did run the story there'd have been a group of people criticizing them for doing so.

"WW3 is breaking out and CNN is trying to distract us with this stupid plane story!"

I have no doubt that advertisers do influence coverage, but this doesn't strike me as smoking gun proof.

Bullshit, go look for yourself.

It was also on the front page of CNN

I did see it on CNN, I'm more curious about how he got back on the plane

It's on Yahoo news. Front and center
