Actually that's not the case really. Once you lose your hearing you start getting lazy woth sounds sonce you can't check yourself anymore. Im not saying people can't get help to continue to enunciate properly but usually they all start sounding similar. I used to take sign language classes in my teens and got to know a lot of deaf people.

If someone has a cochlear implant then they CAN check themself and they knows exactly what they sounds like.
