There's no single year that electronic engine control was adopted for all vehicles. Usually the first time electronics would be introduced to a vehicle would be for EFI (electronic fuel injection)...so find one that's carbureted.

Just to give you some background on at least part of the reason why they do this (when I was active duty, my first assignment was with AFRL and I had a friend that was involved in this. I worked almost exclusively with liquid engines.) - because the Minutemen are solid propellant, there's not really any non-destructive method of making sure the propellant is decaying in a predictable method. The solid propellant is similar to a rubber that can get "crumbly" over time. If it starts crumbling in unpredicted ways, the burn rate when fired would be different than expected.

If I were north Korea, I wouldn't bother with a missle to deliver a nuke (it would be for show). I'd just fly it here on a commercial airline. I truly believe if you desire it and start the creative journey, as Thoreau said, you will meet with success in uncommon hours.

I'm not in a state of constant serenity, but a constant state of creativity, and self-awareness. My experience and what might be called the self are not separate. The observer is the observed so-to-speak, yet what is observed is itself. I still have the full range of emotions, and will feel fear if danger is in my primary reality (like a pitbull running after me). I don't fear what might be called secondary reality, which might also be called "storyland", which includes tales from people who come and go, the news, Reddit, conspiracies, etc. I enjoy conspiracies as a hobby, and a study. But I always remember that it's secondary reality, and has nothing to do with my creative process here in the present moment. I tend to be a voice of love and creativity in these threads. Especially when I see people writing that they're freakin' out.

I heard a mysterious boom early this morning and then a few hours later I saw a black military helicopter fly over my house.

Nothing here in my part of Jersey, but I'm starting to think I should of did some more doomsday prepping. If/ when nothing happens to day I'm definitely going to start supplying.. you know.. just in case.

What all hospitals have been doing drills that we know of? I work at one in Kentucky and I haven't heard of any "Code yellow" (what my hospital calls it when there's a mass casualty) drills today. We had one about a week ago, though.

In Worcester MA I have been noticing tons of police doing drills of some kind in this big vacant building near my school for the last few days. I've been driving down this road for 7 years and never seen police of any kind there.

A lot of Military Bases have internal News websites to keep everyone on and off the base updated on what's happening that week/month on the base.

Could be helpful, the only Base I can think of that's close to where I am is Fort Bragg, so I checked out their website

Here in Northwest Indiana, I've seen a number of UH-60 Blackhawks flying over our town. Had no idea why, till I saw another post that had a link to the Blackhawks being moved from Central Michigan down to Texas. My town has a fairly large airport, and its right along their path. I guess it's being used as a stopover point.

That's all I've seen lately.

Well, there's this.

My car radio cut out for a few seconds this morning. I punched the dash and got it working again.

So, uh, did anything happen?

Probably nothing crazy. But west coast Florida here: been noticing a lot more aircraft activity. Helicopters and planes. Counted the amount I've seen/heard, so it could be the same aircraft but I'll include the count:

Helicopters: 5 in the past 3 hours.

Planes: 20 (although where I live commercial planes fly right above me, but I have yet to see a commercial plane on it's usual route)

I know its a bit late in the day, but just last week a I witnessed four A10 warthogs doing what appeared to be strafing runs (or at the very least low altitude exercises) for several hours. I was driving through metro Detroit for work (as I sometimes do) and have never seen this much activity.

Haven't seen anything out of the ordinary here in Houston. Only thing I've read is the FBI raiding some place
