However, I would argue that African-Americans have been living in the US with white people for well over a hundred years, and they still aren't happy with each other, so I think it is going to be very tough for people to get along with muslims. all developed countries in the world depend on immigration for the continuance of population. the reason is because peoplein developed nations dont reproduce at a rate that will allow them to grow or even maintain their population, so it has to be supplemented with immigrants. why do you think developed nations let so many immigrants in? if shutting out immmigrants would help with our social problems or poverty, then it would be as simple as saying "no immigrants until we get things situated", but very few developed countries ever do this (although lately some small developed countries have been getting more picky about education level of immigrants).
