Idk about space at all but my first thought on the wire (if true, meaning it's not real), is that the metals (copper, etc.) inside the wire are somehow being magnetized by something in space to move in a direction of say an engine spinning around or something? Or less/more +/-affected by gravity somehow? Idk.

Personally i think this is meant to distract, on purpose. It's irrelevant to 99.9% of the planet if the earth is round or flat.
