Can be that, but also educational. I personally think it's more of the latter.

Mos def. hell some of our "theories" are pretty damn laden with enough facts, primary sources, and honest muckraking journalism they can scarcely be described as theories.

We get a lot of lurkers, and a lot of trolls. Sidebar says we have 1200 people here now. I say if pure a lurker who's reading this, don't worry about what others think. Join the conversation!

Yeah, man. It's sad because I'm sure a large percentage of "lurkers" would like to participate, but if they do, they will have a scarlet letter on their account, forever.

I've posted outside this sub, and then people go through your post history and then say: "I see you post in /r/conspiracy". As soon as normies (hive mind) see that, they downvote to hell, even if what the user is saying is correct. Textbook shilling and smear tactic. Looking at you JTRIG cunts.

It's certainly different than reading the MSM, but it is so quickly splintered (I would argue) along the lines of what people find entertaining.

Care to give examples? I mean everyone has their own interests and we are not one unified group (lots of in fighting - which is good and bad).

Okay. take the topic of alternate history. It's very wide. Some people attempt to track down historical sources of information that conflict with the current narrative (I think they do this pretty successfully). Other people take this into speculation, "what if scenarios", with weak evidence. And still others chase what mostly consists of repeated tales and stories that build upon themselves into alternate realities. Now any of this could be true, but the burden of truth lies with the presenter of the idea. Is it aliens? Lost civilizations? Interdenominational beings, break away civilizations? Or just fantasy?

There are truly strange things in this world. Some of these things can be gleaned through research into the stuff that we do know.

Take the franklin scandal, for example, and the dutroux affair. The info at the fringes of these very real political cover-ups deal with luciferianism in the power elite. What does this mean? I dont know exactly, but I think it leads you to think that other things could be happening that we have no idea of.

The kinks of the powerful and mechanisms to control them are well documented though vigorously denied. Bit's of it leak to the MSM to scapegoat a few and end investigation. There are legitimate sources that document this, but it take more than some r/conspiracy posts to follow the truth. If r/ conspiracy functions to just wake people to possibilities then I agree is a good start.

Could you forward the sources that you have to me? I would love to see some of the evidence you have. You seem like you know your business. Thanks or the reply, wwwwho.

Just a few off the top of my head:Jimmy Savile - Pedophile, Vatican/Priests - Pedophile, Jeffery Epstein – Sex Island/Pedophile, Franklin Cover-up, Cory Feldman – Hollywood Pedophile cover-up, 5,200 Pentagon Employees Bought Child Pornography, Operation Flicker Investigation Halted After 8 Months for 'Lack of Resources', Anthony Weiner-Sexual Deviant, Dennis Hasert-Homosexual Scandal,

The full story on each is just a Google away. Jerry Sandusky/Penn State

I think something big is going down tomorrow or at least in this week. The New queue today has had an unusual amount of Flat Earth, "Trump-Russia-NYC Nukes", and "nothing to see here" threads like this one.

Okay. So what if nothing happens? Do you move on thinking you just got the timing wrong?

Well I think we hope that nothing happens honestly lol and yes you just move on

But how many times can you be predictive and wrong 'till you question your idea?

I personally don't try to predict anything lol I just appreciate the awareness and think it's interesting to follow certain themes that seem to replicate.

IMHO if you're driving yourself crazy waiting for something to happen then it's time to take a break and focus on your well-being. The world will exist when you check back in and there's no harm in letting the world exist without your attention for a bit.

To me then, that would be a form of entertainment.

Well everything is a form of entertainment if you want to think about in that way. I mean you're not wrong, I just think there is a sort of importance that goes with the critical thinking that goes into conspiracy theories.

It's really the basis of my question. What is a legitimate investigation into the nature of reality and control and what is just for fun. Perhaps it's up to the individual. I just thought that some/many people would say, It's just kind of fun to talk about aliens running the world".

I don't come here to fund unified theories that explain how the world works in one sentence and entertain that thought. That's what movies are for I like to see how some people who post stuff here look at the corruption in the things going on around the world. Since its the only place I know to chat about this stuff besides talking to the people around you.

Just noticing this too. Lots of eerie Larpy looking twitters and 4chan about 9/11 truth coming out of the Clinton investigation. The attack on sessions yesterday may mean that he's gonna get into the investigation. Not sure, the GCP dot is also very abnormal currently if that means anything to you.

Strange shit going on, man you're not the only one seeing it.

Thanks for the head's up about the GCP dot!

someone told me may 17th on here like two weeks ago something was going down but was being pretty trollish like "youll see". yook it with the tiniest grain of salt ever but still kinda interested for wednesday.

Around May 24. Brown Dwarf sun closing in, Higher Truth Channel on youtube.

I will say flat out - No.

r/conspiracy is an invaluable reference for determining baseline truth on many issues.

For example, last year, there was so much BS promulgated by the MSM during the election, it became difficult to know what the truth was.

Visiting r/ conspiracy helped me to determine what stories were pure crap and those that could have merit.

Aliens are 100& Real. They actually control this reality. We are trapped inside a Holographic Computer Simulation

Elon?

I think this comment shows that yes, I come here purely for the entertainment of ridiculous and crazy ideas.

Sorry to hear you feel that way and your chronic herpes as well...

Thanks for your concern, I'm sorry you believe your existence is a lie and that you can't have a normal enjoyable life because you are too caught up in believing everything is a simulation

I have a great life actually. It is very liberating to actually question things and learn the hidden truth :)

It's possible.

Personal I would write the people off before the theories. One thing that I've found is the depth is rather shallow. People are great thinkers with shallow minds

The biggest message here is missed I feel.

That is the need to still support/conform to a preconceived concept of reality. Even OP was pretty much politics lol aliens.

The way the "world is controlled" has nothing to do with the way it works.

I also "entertainment" is rather vague.

Well, I think the difference between "how it is controlled" and "the way it works" is an interesting idea, though ism not sure i understand it. I chose entertainment meaning that most people just have a passing interest in a topic and find it amusing to see what others have to say about it.

it's not about predicting, but the realist's are anticipating it in all due respect, we are all at the bottom of the triangle.

We are in the shadow of the pyramid. I have been waiting for WWIII for along time. Each time I think they are going to light things up, it turns out to be a minor move on the grand chessboard.

2020

Now I know. Where and how does it start?

I could be completely wrong, but it just seems inevitable by 2020 we will be in a world war or are undergoing a crisis where the $ collapses. Russia & China have been preparing for it with their reserved currencies.

I look into things myself a lot as does my uncle.

Mostly this place is just entertainment watching trolls role play trying to convince others the earth is flat, reptilians own us, trump is the best man ever and hillary ate babies on slices of cheese pizza while playing ping pong.

The mods encourage it all so I am guessing they like the sub to be entertainment based as well.

I just like seeing how well people can create the fictions they do here on those things. Some of them are probably psych students doing experiments here.

Honestly a lot of want something to happen. It sounds fucked up and it wouldn't be any fun but we still want it to be real, even though we know deep down nothing is going to happen.

Yeah, man. It's sad because I'm sure a large percentage of "lurkers" would like to participate, but if they do, they will have a scarlet letter on their account, forever.
