Seth Rich conspiracy theory traces directly back to Steve Bannon
14 2017-05-24 by JoePesciOfGoneFishin
Ed Butowsky, the Dallas wealth manager and frequent Fox News guest who paid for the private investigation into the murder of Seth Rich, is friends with and serves on the board of an organization started by White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon.
It was Butowsky who paid Rod Wheeler, the private investigator who made false claims that Seth Rich had been in contact with WikiLeaks. Wheeler later retracted the claims, and Fox News retracted the entire story.

Evidence?

And as per their filings, Reclaim was directed and vice chaired by Stephen Bannon.

Here is some more background on these 2:
Rod Wheeler - Famous for his neutrality and lesbian gangs who rape your teenage daughters.
Ed Butowsky the selfless financier of this "conspiracy"

Julian Assange used Seth Rich as an example of the risks their sources take and offered a reward for information leading to Seth's Murderer.
Even if we assume his murder was a random act of violence or a failed robbery, it doesn't change anything related to his association to wikileaks.
n/a slacka123 2017-05-24
Julian Assange also said he would time the release of his information to do the most damage to Hillary. If you've watched any interview where Hillary's name come up, he can't hide his bias(not that I blame him).
What I'd love is some actual evidence, instead of 4chan posts and 400 pound attention whores making unsubstantiated claims.

I feel the same way with all these claims about this being debunked.
The fact that assange went out of his way to mention Seth in relation to sources and the reward he offered is far more compelling than anything I have seen to disprove he was the leaker.
I have said for a bit now that I am not sold on the murder mystery elements of this story though. It sounds like a good plot, but there isn't anything I find substantial enough to convince me.

Agreed 100% that there is smoke here. But that the same time, this is THE narrative that the right wing media is pushing hard right now. If this was MSN, there is no way people would be posting every 5 min, telling us to keep talking about.

This sub has been running at about double it's normal active users for almost 2 weeks now. There are definitely shills on both sides of this here.
One sides dumps a bunch WashPo and NYT articles and fills the comments with cheerleading and complaints about this sub. The other side posts a ton of self posts, 4chan snapshots, and 30 second clips from MSM that serves their narrative.
If you step out of line with both groups, you get downvoted to hell and back. Reddit is nothing more than groupthink in action, and PR teams using it to manufacture false consensus.

jesus christ why is there so many of them? who is so worried that we stop paying attention to this? these are the same tactics we saw with pizzagate. constant reminders and self posts telling us to NOT BE DISTRACTED FROM PIZZAGATE/STAY FOCUSED/DONT STOP
bizarre that the tactics are exactly the same

Elites are freaking out!!!!! We are so close!!! Keep digging!!!!!

But there is one thing glaringly absent from our analysis of the Seth Rich situation. Despite the large number of low-effort submissions around, I have yet to see the one that says:
Republicans HAve Majorities in Both Houses, but They Refuse to Investigate Seth Rich
Imagine that. :)

Why would they know their grown sons access levels in the DNCs network?
Even if they were told all this, which sounds like a really odd detail to share with the family of a grown man who has an on going murder investigation, that presumes he didn't have access through an 'alternative' means. Some networks have EXTREMELY lax security on their internal network, and from what the FBI has said this was the case with the DNCs.

Because he literally just joined the campaign and excitedly told them about his job.
n/a JoePesciOfGoneFishin 2017-05-24
It makes total sense if you believe the theory that WikiLeaks was an active partner with Russia during the 2016 collusion rather than an unwitting tool of Putin.
n/a GlenCompton 2017-05-24
Except, that claim is as speculative as the DNC had Seth Rich killed.

Come on, Joe, give us something. You may have blown this wide open! Lol.

The connection is through a conservative 501c3 called Reclaim New York, which is fighting against the state's bill to introduce universal healthcare.
Bannon is the board chairman, Butowsky is a board member.

Butowsky also said of Bannon: "I consider him a friend and a very nice man."

nice work here mate

The fact that this story is making the front page of the conspiracy sub and the Trump/Russia scandals are considered a "diversion" is pretty funny. I mean, you'd think the conspiracy sub would recognize such a blatantly partisan smear campaign. In looking at the comments at least it seems like there are quite a few people who aren't falling for it.

he lied about it? weird.
n/a Herculius 2017-05-24
No he retracted only a small portion of what he said.
So what? That means literally nothing.
n/a JoePesciOfGoneFishin 2017-05-24
He also called Bannon a close friend and made a visit to the White House in March.
n/a EhrmantrautWetWork 2017-05-24
a podesta was at bohemina grove with someone whos name sounds like a doctors name who has a sister who might have worked at the hospital seth rich died at. in 2008.
thats the latest breaking confirmation in the seth rich case on here.
n/a RustyRundle 2017-05-24
Wheeler didn't actually retract his claims, why are you spreading misinformation?
n/a rolltide26 2017-05-24
This investigation did not start with Wheeler. It started right when Seth died.
n/a mrbojingles1972 2017-05-24
The fact remains that Seth Rich was murdered and those who did it are on the loose. The suspicious part is that nobody but Wikileaks seem to be interested in finding out who did it and why.
What's more interesting is that Wikileaks has no vested interest in who did it except for what it would expose. No other reason for them to be the ONLY entity that offered up a reward for information.
n/a PopeInnocentIX 2017-05-24
That is completely untrue. The DC police have offered $25,000:
Article from August 2015.

I've been on this one too Joe. Reclaim New York not only featured Bannon but it currently directed by the Mercer sisters, and if you believe the claims of Mercer colleagues in Jane Mayer's New Yorker piece on Mercer, he fully buys into the "Clinton Kill List." This was an engineered propaganda event from start to finish.
n/a EhrmantrautWetWork 2017-05-24
just listened to an Fresh Air piece on Mercer. Kinda gross that if you get crazy rich you can just fund whatever opinion you want to get pushed.
Money out of politics!

That's a conspiracy all right.
Conspiracy to catch a murderer.
