Question about anonymous

10  2017-05-26 by tobibuk

Can we trust the information they share with us? They share a lot of information with their youtube channel and their facebook page, but are those channels of the real anonymous?

And are they still active? The news has been so quiet about them for a long time now.

The heads of anonymous all died in 2008.

Please explain

And push my death by the elites ahead of schedule? No thanks, my ministry isn't finished.

This seems like a fascinating story tho. Are there any links on the history of Anonymous. It is pretty obvious that some shit went down and they are nothing like they were. But I'd love to know the details.

Nope not anymore. Want a story similar though? Look at Wikileaks now.

I didn't think Anonymous operated with the same M.O. as Wikileaks. WL seems like an insider data repo I. E. whistleblower/leaker and Anonymous seemed more external hacker/interceptor. That was always my impression anyways.

Rise and fall. Almost 100% identical.

Sabu fucked em hard.

what/who is sabu?

Why would they have all died in 2008 if you're saying Sabu fucked them, but he wasn't arrested until 2011?

Or are you saying everyone was dead long before things came to light?

I think Sabu was informing on them long before he was brought in.

I hope there is a special place in hell for Sabu.

I wouldnt trust them, not in the age of trump.

Anonymous has always been a loose group of anyone who identifies themselves as Anonymous. For a while there was a core group doing a lot of work, but I don't think they ever claimed to actually be "the" Anonymous.

As always, you need to take whatever someone says with a grain of salt before blindly accepting it, but historically people identifying themselves as Anonymous have provided some good information. Since there is no official group, there isn't an entity to trust.

Yeah i can notice that this post is getting heavily downvoted lol. Why would u downvote a question..

Because you're not going to get anything beyond a yes or no answer

Ive said the same thing a few different times myself.

There is no 'Anonymous' hell, I was an Anon for a couple years.. All I did was shitpost... Anyone can be Anonymous

They do seem to share the views of a certain segment of the conservative media.

On behalf of anonymous, let me assure you that...yes, you can trust the information we share.

Most of what people think of as Anonymous have moved on. There are few still out there that avoided any real trouble, and a major chunk moved to named groups and are therefore no longer anonymous.

It is a safer bet to not trust those who claim to be Anonymous these days. The majority who use that moniker are trying to capitalize on the name for attention.

Those that are still active are mostly ideologues and are pretty creepy people in the real world, and do not go by "anonymous" any longer. Some of those people are RIGHT HERE with us on reddit making this site as horrible as you know it is today. ;)

We are anonymous, we are legion, we do not forget. Unless we're baked.

I don't trust Anonymous because by definition there can't be an official voice of Anonymous
