The number of online users in this sub jumped by over 500 in the span of just a few minutes. Keep your eyes open for outside influence.

Edit: Interesting. 23 minutes after this was posted, it has 7 comments, 6 of them from shadowbanned people. (Or new accounts not yet able to visibly post here?)

Edit#2: that was weird. Opened post several times, trying to see the other 6 comments, couldn't. Added edit mentioning it. Next page renewal brought them all up.

There's some definite subversion going on in this sub.

George Webb is beginning to close in on blowing the case wide open

I hope he has an underground bunker and an army of bodyguards.

There's rumours that a bad story involving Trump is going to drop today. Looks to me like they're getting ready to bury it as soon as it breaks.

Lmao!!!

Pretty sure it's a diff sub userbase that's bringing bots over to vote manipulate post to the front. Just look at the top post the past month, we've been flooded out

There's bad stuff about Trump in the news today. Not surprised.

There is bad news about Trump every day across all MSM lol. I see it every morning. Was there something particularly bad today?

500 is a significant jump, but it is lunchtime on the east coast.

Literally, exactly this. I get on reddit at lunchtime ... illuminati botnet confirmed.

Shills and bots and trolls, oh my! Lol.

Yea, they're definitely here and everywhere else on the internet. They used to be shamed. For a corporate example, I remember a beer company trying to make an organic post years ago on Reddit. Some guy made a post with an album of pictures and some story, but the beer label was clearly visible in the pictures. It was such a big deal. I feel like Reddit may have even outed the guy as an employee of the company, but I'm a little fuzzy on the details. They learned, and the 'shilling' has gotten either more subtle or more normal since then, but they are still here.

The forum sliders and brigadiers etc are here ATM. A lot of posts are getting downvoted at the same time the SR/etc ones are getting upvoted to make sure those posts stay on the front page. Then there are people changing the subject and starting arguments on posts. People mentioning controversial topics on unrelated posts to make sure the topic stays on the forefront of people's minds. News usually changes a whole lot faster than this. It's not normal to be inundated with a single subject for so long... The comments on these controversial posts seem to be annoyed that they are there, yet the topic continues to take up the majority of page space. Why is that?

Probably related to george webb - he is blowing up all over this sub, where as before there was like 1 post about him per day by one of two of the same people just following his investigation

George Webb.
