The Grenfell Tower fire in London is an event that sums up all that is rotten in contemporary capitalist society—not just in Britain, but throughout the world
Oligarchical capitalism might be a better way to put it. Economic freedom is one thing. Complete control of the economy and government by those with money is something entirely different.

It's crazy, some people are estimating the death toll to be 500-1000 because more people actually stay in some rooms than are registered.
It's like somewhere between 1/6 or 1/3 the number of people who died in 9/11, and this seems to be due to just negligence.

Negligence, not foul play?

Criminal negligence would qualify as "foul play," right?

criminal negligence is criminal negligence, 'foul play' would be intent to murder or manslaughter
