Do you think that "gravity" could be a combination of "gravity" and electromagnetic forces? I am not here to argue. I'm sincerely interested in your opinion.
Community is an amazing show all around. Very archetypal characters and it can allow people to appreciate nonsense. There are a lot of aspects of the show that could make anyone question their reality a bit more.
Arguably not. I've watched the whole show which ended a year ago. It has conspiracy themes but doesn't tackle any real life conspiracies, and the only crazy character in the show is a hillbilly who erased his memory by mistake.
The main villain is literally the eye of providence, a demon named Bill. He represents the elite cabal.
The all seeing eye of horus, pyramids with capstones, all kinds of legit illuminati symbolism is packed into that show. The grandfather figure is a high ranking freemason/shriner/odd fellow. And it's a Disney show. There's a purpose behind this show being broadcast to our kids.
I must have missed it because I never realized Grunkle Stan was a Freemason/Shriner/Odd Fellow. All I saw was a man obsessed with running a tourist trap in order to fund his attempts to get his brother back.
Makes no difference, we grow up watching Robin Hood, Star Wars and numerous other types of movies that portrays fighting off tyrannical empires and yet we all grow up to be jaded little cunts either way.
Just remember to observe good online privacy practices now that you've offered to join in something anti-establishment in likely a heavily monitored part of the Internet.
I'm not an expert, but try using a virtual machine to limit how much information that can be gathered about your computer and subsequently used to track you (which is possible). Ensure communication is encrypted end-to-end. Don't give personal information to people you meet online. Turn off cookies and scripting languages on websites. Don't go offering to join anti-establishment groups you know little about in open chat areas.
These tips are fairly obvious. Look up encryption and online privacy yourself for more information. Also, assume everything you do, everything you click on or type, is kept and stored. Also know that no matter what you do, online security and privacy is an uphill battle, and these measures are generally just making it harder for people to track you - but if you are of enough interest to people with enough resources, these measures will not be enough. The ramifications of this, I leave for you to ponder.
If you are looking to do something really clandestine - look into Tails: http://tails.boum.org
It's a hardened Linux live-OS (bootable from a USB stick) that systematically encrypts everything you do, whether storage (LUKS) or transmission (Tor). The firewall (iptables) ensure you don't accidentally leak your IP. The distrib even erases the RAM when you shut down, by booting a new kernel - pretty neat.
Attach the USB key to your wrist with a string if you're ever doing stuff outside on a public Wifi and you're golden :)
There are two things more powerful than fighting. Compassion to your fellow human beings and speaking up about it.
Movies that focus on fighting but use anger/fear/revenge as motivation do not pose any danger. It is just a reinforcement of emotions that feed into tribal mentality. And divide and conquer tactics have been used to harness tribal mentality to serve unelected powers since forever.
Yup. There was a weird series years ago called Battlestar Galactica. It had some deep storylines. In it, the humans were getting smacked down. There is a point where the humans, against superior technical force of the Cylon robots, humans start suicide bombing themselves to fight back. What was weird was there were moments where I thought in the same situation, I'd do the same for my parents, brothers, friends. And I asked myself, is this why the towelheads do it to us? Why they setup IUDs to blow up humvees?
It is weird that such a small minority of people see through the veil, question things.
Yeag for sure man. And its crazy how short term everybodys memory seems to be. For sake of this discussion lets assume there is no conspiracy behind 9/11 and what they say happened happened, i know a lot of people who believe this is an unprovoked attack on the united states. They cant seem to grasp the fact that weve been blowing up the middle east since the 50s and this is bound to have obvious negative consequences. Hard to love my country when weve been the major purveyors of destruction the last century and a half.
There are a lot of people that expose the truth if you can read between the lines a bit. Peter Jackson's rendering of Tolkien was interesting (the all-seeing eye on top of the towers).
It is quality, definitely worth it. And as it gets deeper, the unexpected twists are exciting. I watched it because others said I should - quickly grew to love it.
I didn't watch it until the series was over, but I'm glad I eventually did. As someone who basically grew up on conspiracies, I didn't think it would be all that great but in the end I was impressed.
Have you seen Clarence? It is a lot sillier and "dumber" but there is an episode with cult references, communism, free speech, and an episode where he was seeing the all seeing eye symbols around and following it around.
Gravity Falls is great. We loved it, and the layers were impressive.
Another incredible weird redpill Disney XD show was Tron: Uprising. It was only one season, could easily have had many more. It starred great actors, Elijah wood, Mandy Moore, Paul Ruebens.
It was powerful, basically showing that revolting against totalitarian regimes is dangerous but righteous.
Weirdmageddon episode is so accurate its scary. Bill is the best depiction of Lucifer I've ever seen. There's a lot of truth in that show and some of it has unfolded in our own world. Go research Alex Hirsch, he admits to being invited to be a member of the Illuminati when they were recruiting on social media.
I don't think they are waking up people, more than normalizing it.
House of Cards is the perfect example were they use terrorists for their benefits. Also there is an episode were a muslim congressman comes out of nowhere without ever being on the show, just to say, don't blame all islam for a few rotten apples, which I thought was totally unjustified and it was a character that never appeared.
Netxflix pushes the liberal agenda so blatantly.
Mixing and making your own culture dissapear? The white supremacy bullshit? Hello?
I think you're on the wrong reddit with that kind of narrow thinking, you need to look at the big picture.
No, my ancestors culture. My regional language, customs, products, etc... Why did Ireland want it's independence? Why do people want to fight for traditional values instead of new imposed ones?
I'm not supporting or talking against, but if you don't see anything wrong in trying to impose liberal or conservative thinking, then you are on the wrong subreddit.
I was afraid about clicking this because I thought it was going to be all about subliminal messages and how the illuminati control children's television.
Pleasantly surprised. Gravity Falls is great. Someone else mentioned Rick and Morty, coincidentally, Gravity Falls creator Alex Hirsch and Rick and Morty creator Justin Roiland are good friends and the often reference each other in their respective shows.
Animated TV nowadays is swimming with incredible artists and people with wild views on things. They're able to get away with so much more interesting, symbolic, esoteric subjects due to their medium. Plus, kids don't really process things the way adults do so most of the more challenging ideas soar miles over their heads.
Jesse Moynihan was a storyboard artist on Adventure Time and he has a couple appearances on the Duncan Trussell Family Hour podcast, as well as the creator of Adventure Time, Pendleton Ward. Definitely worth a listen, even if you don't necessarily like the show.
Hah. If by shows like this you mean well written kids shows? Theyre a dime and dozen but theyre out there. This is one of the newer well written shows out there for kids.
Sadly they aren't a dime a dozen. For every well written kids show there's at least three other shit shows trying to drown them out. Right now Cartoon Network is doing kind of good. Granted, Regular Show is over and Adventure Time isn't long for this world either. They would be doing better if they stopping airing Teen Titans Go EVERY HOUR ON THE FUCKING HOUR and replaced it with Steven Universe (say what you will about the fanbase, but the show is a delight.)
Disney used to run some amazing shows, but now they stick of a formula of mind numbing stupidity and lessons that teach young girls that their looks should come first. And the only thing Nick has going for it is The Loud House. I love Spongebob, but it needs to die.
Yea I misused the phrase there I was trying to imply that they are indeed hard to find. Its a shame how much crap you have to sift through to find quality shows - shows that will not turn your kids brain into soup.
Remember when disney was king? Their shows had real people in them back then lol... even steven... lizzie mcguire...
I grew up with 90s Cartoon Network but I still firmly believe Regular Show is the best thing they ever did(discounting adult swim of course). That show was on a different level.
Ditto. Although as much as I love Regular Show, I think for me the original Powerpuff Girls is the best thing. Right now my favorite running CN show is Steven Universe which is a close second to PPG. The fanbase is a bag of dicks, but the show gives me the same feeling the original PPG did growing up.
Gravity Falls is a gem. So much love and care was put into that show. It's a shame it ended so soon, but I'm glad it didn't drag on and on. It would be nice if there was a spinoff series or series of books about Mable and Dipper's adventures while back at home.
I think as far as cartoons go, Gravity Falls was good for kids because it made them question everything. It broke Disney's regular formula the way So Weird did back in the day.
It is quality, definitely worth it. And as it gets deeper, the unexpected twists are exciting. I watched it because others said I should - quickly grew to love it.

When you ask about gravity, do you mean in the R-u-a-bot? I ask as your question and follow up seemed very intriguing, and by that I mean inorganic.

Power rangers, transformers, xmen, Star Trek. Just off the top of my head.
All play with the idea of an external race either having a hand in constructing or effecting the culture of primitive man.
Ancient aliens, in a nutshell. Perhaps readying the next generation for the release of some of our hidden histories.
