IF Russia "hacked" the election as so many have claimed it would be the act of accessing the DNC servers, and via wikileaks publishing damaging information on Podesta, Clinton, and the DNC. The claim is this swayed voters correct?

So, if that is the case the only evidence that would exist would be on the very servers the DNC fought so hard to keep away from the FBI. Now if it were me, and I wanted to get this Russia / Trump narrative to stick well enough for an impeachment process why wouldn't I turn over the few items that would have TANGIBLE evidence? It doesn't make sense and i'm looking for a plausible argument.
