Hmmm... Charlottesville Charger's airbags didnt deploy after that crash? Must have been purposefully deactivated like some professional would do . Fields face/nose not bruised by airbags. Hmm..... Can drive straight backward at high speed for two blocks after scary crash? Hmm. Hollywood stuntman?

Or: Impact wasn't sufficient to activate the airbags.
1 azzazaz 2017-08-15
It smashed the front of his car and the back of another.
Airbags go off with a tap.
1 Rockran 2017-08-15
No they don't. The car wasn't going very fast, and the impact with the car wasn't that hard.
This video isn't real: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TQxcV4lu-a4
1 DerkDerkinson 2017-08-15
If the impact was hard enough to hurl people into the air, it was hard enough to make the airbag go off.
1 Rockran 2017-08-15
Not if the impact doesn't cause the car to suddenly halt, triggering the accelerometer.
Otherwise, how will the airbag trigger?
1 iantm 2017-08-15
The airbag is based on the accelerometer in the car, not how high a person flies through the air.

I have hit numerous deer at highway speeds (way faster than this guy was going) with vehicles. A deer weighs approximately what a human does. I have caused thousands of dollars damage to the vehicle and never had an air bag deploy. Just a little real world experience.

Logic does not computttttttte.
1 OniExpress 2017-08-15
My sister hit a moose with enough force to dent the frame over the windshield a good 6", airbags did not deploy.
1 JeremyBoob 2017-08-15
Jesus. Was the moose okay?? Those things are huge
1 OniExpress 2017-08-15
Nah, had to be put down. It wasn't even fully grown, but was still like 8 feet tall.
1 YodelingTortoise 2017-08-15
Air bag arming requires some extra inputs. Most models use the input from the brake on/off switch or a rapid deceleration event. Without a braking the airbag system doesn't deploy. If he intentionally accelerated into the crowd, you don't need to ask if he hit his brakes.
1 johnknoefler 2017-08-15
It does take more than a tap. But he was going plenty fast to set it off. If it's fast enough to kill a person it will set it off.
1 BourgeyBastard 2017-08-15
Do you have to be applying the brakes? I don't know how this shit works.
1 Rockran 2017-08-15
Well that's just plane nonsense.
If a person gets hit and sent over the back of the car, they could easily die upon impact with the ground, despite the impact not triggering the airbags accelerometer.
1 johnknoefler 2017-08-15
Ok. You got me there. That's true. But the impact I saw was certainly enough to set it off. It should have deployed.
1 Kolyin 2017-08-15
Depends on how he killed her. I had thought she was one of the people he reversed over, although I don't have a source for that and could be wrong. If not, she might have hit her head on the curb. Check out the WCGW or WPD subreddits; head injuries from falling can kill.
1 johnknoefler 2017-08-15
Guy deleted his comment before I could respond.
Are you serious? Hey, I know, test it out. Make sure you use you're mom's car. Tell her it's for science. She'll understand.
1 Tecumsehs_Revenge 2017-08-15
Are these post proof of that?
1 JeremyBoob 2017-08-15
I've been in fender benders and even clipped a deer on a highway once and it never went off. There are many variables: make of car, age of car, defective equipment, brand of airbag, airbag specs, speed of car, object of impact, location of impact, etc. I know this is a conspiracy subgroup but that doesn't mean you can just make shit up all willy nilly
1 Madrenoche 2017-08-15
Yeah replay video and see if hitting adult bodies at 30 40 mph wasn't sufficent enough.
1 Rockran 2017-08-15
The car wasn't going that fast.
Do you think running someone over will cause the drivers face to slam against the steering wheel?
1 Kolyin 2017-08-15
He didn't hit a solid, fixed barrier. He hit people, whose bodies moved.
1 Rockran 2017-08-15
Your edited comment is pathetic.
The impact the car received was gradual, not immediate.
Plowing into a crowd of people shown in the video is not sufficient to cause the airbag to deploy.
A crowd of people is NOT " equivalent to hitting a solid, fixed barrier at 8 to 14 mph or higher"
1 Madrenoche 2017-08-15
I think i'm going to cry
1 azzazaz 2017-08-15
Wait. So only 1 out of 3 readers of this found this very basic discrepancy suspicious?
What is going on in this sub?
1 TrowwayFiggenstein 2017-08-15
no this is highly suspicious. Suspicious as fuck.
Prepare yourself--the army of paid commenters will be on the clock soon.
1 joe_jaywalker 2017-08-15
The highest upvoted comment is the well-reasoned and measured rebuttal of "he fucking did it, get over it" so it must be true. Case closed.
1 TrowwayFiggenstein 2017-08-15
Haha. Just clock in did ya???
1 joe_jaywalker 2017-08-15
Uh, no. I'm calling attention to that problem.
1 Terex80 2017-08-15
That's a terrible attitude to have. You're basically gonna 'prove' to yourself that people who don't think this is a staged event are shills
People on here are always desperate for it to be a false flag.
1 borch3jackdaws 2017-08-15
Welcome to r/conspiracy! If I had a dollar for every "the opposition must mean we're on to something" comment...

https://www.nhtsa.gov/equipment/air-bags
Says airbags deploy at 16-28 mph or more when hitting a parked car. It wasn't going all that fast and it hit a car that was in gear. The fact that it hit people first may have played into it as well.
I'm downvoting because you have a conclusion and are looking for evidence. That's not how shit works. It's a legit question that appears to be answered in a google search without even having to click throough to an actual link.
quit bitching aboout your fuckin karma. That's another reason I downvoted.

People here question everything. Don't get butt hurt because some don't agree with you.
1 Kolyin 2017-08-15
People have higher standards than you want them to.
1 TheRealDL 2017-08-15
Doesn't it say, in the ISIS handbook, to disable or remove the airbags?
1 datums 2017-08-15
Grasping at straws.
He fucking did it. Get over it.
1 joe_jaywalker 2017-08-15
Except he clearly didn't.

That's not clear at all.
Can't see his ears, head hair, chin, nose, eyes or cheeks clearly or with much detail. But I can see there's a considerable gap between eyebrows - Which match.
1 MapleLeaf2015 2017-08-15
That's the part that people should question . Yes someone crashed into the crowd, yes it was a violent display of intolerance, yes people were injured and an unfortunate soul died because of it. The person in the car and the person who was blamed do not look anything like each other
1 joe_jaywalker 2017-08-15
No, all of the above should be questioned. You have no way of knowing anyone really died any more than any children really died at Sandy Hook. No videos show any real injuries or anyone pinned between the cars, and no one looks to have suffered a fatal injury. The entirety of any story sensationalized by the MSM should be questioned and dissected.
1 MapleLeaf2015 2017-08-15
I know but you have to cool hot heads before it can really be investigated with a sane approach
1 charonco 2017-08-15
We do know that children died at Sandy Hook. What the fuck is wrong with you people?

It takes about 30 minutes to remove an airbag from the steering wheel of a Dodge Challenger (not a Charger). Passenger airbags can be disabled/bypassed easily also. I wouldn't be surprised this mouth-breather did that in some twisted idea that automobile airbags are a leftist plot that causes autism.
1 iantm 2017-08-15
haha
1 Madrenoche 2017-08-15
No autism...chemtrails.
1 TheTelephone 2017-08-15
There was probably not enough direct force to set off the airbags. The front of the car wasn't smashed up from impact aside from the plastic bumper, and the bumper looked to be ripped off probably from human bodies hanging off of it.
Driving in reverse for two blocks in a straight line is not terribly difficult.
1 azzazaz 2017-08-15
Both of what you said simply arent true
Get in your car in an empty parking lot and hit the gss in reverse and try to make it 2 large blocks without so much as a swerve.
No dont do thst.
1 Findingthedot 2017-08-15
Also have your bumper hanging off your car, a deflated drivers side tire etc
1 iantm 2017-08-15
The airbag was about to testify against the Clintons so it had to "disappear"
1 TheWiredWorld 2017-08-15
You're getting brigaded hard so there's clearly something to this, OP?

Every single subbfeddit is compromised now.
Even the donald
I havent gotten a few pms .
A huge 1 year poster on td got banned becuase he didnt like gail gadot in wonderwoman. They said he was anti semitic. He had just been defending jared..who is jewish.
1 azzazaz 2017-08-15
Also.
I have noticed the general level of knowledge of people on reddit in most subs has really declined.
I think many of the smartest people have simply gone elsewhere.
When you get in a disagreement with someone now is seems as though they are so ignorant that you may be arguing with dunces.
1 OdinSQL 2017-08-15
He wasn't driving fast enough to set of the airbags. Based on the damage to the car he was going around 20 mph at the time of impact with the car in front. Airbag will deploy at around 28 mph when impacting a parked car. The cars in front of him rolled forward at the time of impact which decrease the force of the impact.
1 KOVUDOM 2017-08-15
It wasn't a Charger.
