Breaking--Awan / DNC Scandal Happening
191 2017-08-22 by Killadillas
So this might be the biggest fucking scandal in recent US politics, and no one seems to give a shit.
Heres the quick run down (pre-indictment) :
-Imran Awan is IT guy who worked for the DNC
-is arrested for bank fraud in an airport while trying to leave the US for Pakistan, where his wife is currently at
-Awan was making fraudulent loans for up to $300,000
-as an IT guy, Awan was accessing the files of House’s Intelligence and Foreign Affairs Committees, was accessing their computers without their knowledge, transferring their files to remote servers, and stealing hard drives
-this wasnt just Imran, but the Awan family was all involved in this. okay, so this one guy was just running his own scam, right? It wasnt the DNC, right?
-while the Awan clan was fired, Imran kept employed by Debbie Wasserman Schultz up until he was arrested
-Awan began his career working for new york dem representative in 2004, and was hired on by Schutlz the next year
-from there, he secured jobs for his wife and other family members
-most people in this profession make around 40K, but Awans youngest brother Jamal had a starting salary of $160,000 for some reason
-the family made 4 million dollars from US tax payers as well as running various other scams from capital hill
-fast forward to after Imrans arrest, and Schultz is making cryptic threats to the police investigation on the case, why would she do this if she just got scammed? wouldnt she want to help the police in this case? -The Awans had access to highly classified intel
-DNC is claiming this was unauthorized access they didnt condone, but in 2016, they wrote a letter to the house intel committee that their staffers should have "unbounded access" to "Top Secret — Sensitive Compartmented Information" the highest level of classified info
-ranking member of the subcommittee this letter was addressed to? Debbie wasserman schultz
-few desperate whimpers from democrats saying this is "islamophobic" targeting, but a distant family memeber of the Awans says that she was blackmailed by Imran who threatened to kidnap her because he was so "powerful" in a police report she reported to the Virginia state police
-And again, Debbie Wasserman Schultz has been butting heads with the police and FBI investigating this case as well
NOW:
FBI Suspects Members of Congress Leaked Grand Jury Indictment to the Awans; DOJ Officials Possibly Implicated Too
https://twitter.com/Thomas1774Paine/status/900025298816823297
Federal agents said it appears more than likely a leak could have originated from any member of Congress linked to the Awan family. Federal law enforcement sources believe officials in Congress were tipped off by a subsequent leak in the Justice Department or the hierarchy of the FBI itself. The Grand Jury convened in U.S. District Court in the District of Columbia on Nov. 13, 2016. Within weeks, Awan and his wife started moving money. Lots of it. To Pakistan and parts unknown, federal agents said. By the time Awan and Alvi were indicted on Aug. 17th, they had liquidated well over $2 million in U.S.-backed assets and property, sources and records show. That amount is likely to grow, as agents continue to work the cases.
And as much as $800,000 of that money was liquidated after Awan’s FBI arrest, exactly two weeks before his indictment.
It is no coincidence Awan began liquidating assets “like a mad man” in the days before his July 24th arrest, FBI sources and public records confirm. In fact, Awan closed deals on the sale of two houses for over $800,000. Both real estate assets were owned by he and his wife and he accepted buy offers on the properties the same day of his arrest. This was a small feat in itself because she was hiding 7,500 miles away in Pakistan. Awan was also lining up cash advances on credit line accounts and liquidating other financial instruments, federal sources said.
Federal agents said it is evident Awan was in a rush to liquidate assets prior to an arrest and indictment in a possible attempt to shield the real estate from prosecutors who could seize or freeze the couple’s properties.

Schultz was also helping Awan to get the loan. In recent stories they've forgotten to add that part.

is there a verifiable source for this statement?

Did we get any updates on his trial opening yesterday?
1 pordante 2017-08-22
George Webb got his hands on the docket

You can too. Go to https://ecf.dcd.uscourts.gov/cgi-bin/login.pl, register for an account, and search his name. (It's not free, but not very expensive unless you download many or very large documents.)
1 Kolyin 2017-08-22
It's way too early for trial to have begun. The preliminary hearing is 9/1, according to the docket.
1 ZiggyAdventures 2017-08-22
Out of curiosity during what time period was he employed by the DNC?
1 _JukeEllington 2017-08-22
I dont believe he ever was. He just contracted for some congress folks.

Specifically Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the former head of the DNC.
1 OmgRussia 2017-08-22
Not sure but DWS headed the DNC... it is safe to say they are intertwined.
1 blufr0g 2017-08-22
It's like they are hoping if they continuously associate him with the DNC we'll all forget who actually employed him.
1 RocketSurgeon22 2017-08-22
When you have contracts with over 20 Democratic officials you basically work for DNC indirectly.

1 ZiggyAdventures 2017-08-22
That I knew, I was just wondering if I missed actual DNC employment but it seems by the other comments there was no DNC employment itself and instead the connection is speculation.
1 Simplicity3245 2017-08-22
I searched pretty thoroughly awhile ago on him. I couldn't find anything directly to the DNC.
1 sweetholymosiah 2017-08-22
If Cheney never saw jail time for Iraq, do you really think Clinton is going to be prosecuted for anything?
1 OmgRussia 2017-08-22
Doubt it, and I wish they'd both see jail time...
1 iamtheCircus 2017-08-22
He's not dead yet
1 Ruck__Feddit 2017-08-22
They both need to see more than just jail time as do a whole lot more of our corrupt politicians who have been committing crimes against us for their personal gains.
1 sweetholymosiah 2017-08-22
Perhaps a pie in the face?
1 Aluminoti 2017-08-22
Might Awan have evidence of Seth Rich being the leaker?
1 Killadillas 2017-08-22
Of course. It's how the DNC knew Seth was the leaker, and Awan was "partying" with Seth the night of his death
1 LoganLinthicum 2017-08-22
I've not heard that he was with him the night of his death, could you back that up?
1 ganooosh 2017-08-22
There are claims that Seth was at a house owned by the Awans the night of his death. I don't think they've released the source.
1 LoganLinthicum 2017-08-22
Where did this information come from? It sounds like rumors. (I believe Seth Rich was the source and was killed for it)
1 aria_taylor 2017-08-22
I agree. Do you think they are going to pin it on Awan?
1 ganooosh 2017-08-22
IDK the guys name, but there was a video posted the other day where the guy claims to have a source who told him.
It comes off a bit too far fetched for me. Maybe even intentionally to conflate separate theories in order to discredit both.
1 LoganLinthicum 2017-08-22
Could you give the slightest bit of corroborating detail that might help another person track down and verify this information? Perhaps you could find the video in your history. I'd really like to know if there is anything to this, and it is very important to me that I do some small amount of due diligence before passing on information to others.
1 psyderr 2017-08-22
I know Rod Wheeler, the private investigator, was very interested in the Awan arrest. I forget the words he used but he suggested Awan was somehow close to the Seth Rich murder
1 Geolupulus 2017-08-22
Matt Couch said it. On his periscope.
1 LoganLinthicum 2017-08-22
Thank you, I really appreciate it! I feel that it is just as important to know where a piece of information came from as it is to know the info itself.
1 ganooosh 2017-08-22
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=52V3iCuVyz4
This isn't the exact video. But it's this guy's video. Somebody posted a thread last week where he claims a source has told him seth rich as attending a party at a home owned by the awans.
1 bradok 2017-08-22
There was also a photograph...I am unable to find it...which was taken the night of Seths' death, and which contained a man many people believed to be Awan at the bar where Wheeler was unable to get a list of attendees to that nights party.
1 LDLover 2017-08-22
there is no actual evidence to support this theory.
Did Luke Rosiak report it? If not, I tend to not believe it. He's been on this story from the beginning and doing stellar reporting.
1 bradok 2017-08-22
I only remember seeing the photograph once, and it was a month or two ago. I didn't claim it to be true but was merely stating it for people who may have missed it.
1 dskies 2017-08-22
Questions for Luke...https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=a-HpmrIqBGE
1 LDLover 2017-08-22
I trust him implicitly at this point. George Webb is a bit out there in my opinion and Rosiak is controlled and credible and cautious with how he has been reporting information & HE MUST if he wants to retain his credibility.
I will say though that I did see some incredible coincidences with burglaries & timelines, so thanks for sending this video.
I REALLY hope Luke does give him credit if this is all true. Disappointing. Appreciate the link.
1 i_LOSNAR_i 2017-08-22
I saw the photo and it looked nothing like Awan. It was a freaking white guy in the photo. However, I still believe Seth was the leaker and was murdered for it, and that Awan is somehow connected.
1 JoePesciOfGoneFishin 2017-08-22
Actually Seth Rich had a secret meeting with Paul Manafort and Donald Trump that night, and I'm providing the same amount of proof that you are for your claim.
1 doesnotdeliver 2017-08-22
I heard this too, from a separate source
1 DestroyerOfUniverses 2017-08-22
This isn't true.
1 TXROADWARRIOR 2017-08-22
correct, photo was from a few months earlier. it was on the time stamp
1 gaslightlinux 2017-08-22
$40K/year is way below what tech people make.
1 bradok 2017-08-22
Yet before his indictment and his wife fleeing the country with 12 grand in cash, they were already liquidating hundreds of thousands of dollars of real estate...something smells.
1 bannana 2017-08-22
I'm definitely not defending anyone here just speaking to the money. Taking 12K on vacation or anywhere traveling isn't really that much especially if you would be planning a month long trip, 3k/week while traveling abroad isn't out of line for people with a little bit of money.
1 bradok 2017-08-22
The problem is that you are supposed to declare any amount of 10k, and she didn't. She was released regardless.
1 bannana 2017-08-22
IMO people should be able to carry cash if they want and arresting someone for 2k though, I'm just not seeing the point in that. If they are liquidation funds from property with the intention of not paying their loans then this will come out but being petty about 2k is silly.
1 LarryHolmes 2017-08-22
They arrest people for not driving with insurance, which costs a lot less than $2,000.
1 bannana 2017-08-22
it's not the cost of the insurance it's because if they cause an accident with injury it could cost 100k, heck even a moderate accident with a fancy car could be 50k.
1 Drewcifer419 2017-08-22
To Pakistan?! If you went on "vacation" to Pakistan with twelve stacks of USD you'd be living like a king.
1 gaslightlinux 2017-08-22
I am responding to what the post says. The salary is off, I didn't say anything against anything else that was said.
1 aria_taylor 2017-08-22
On mobile, search for this: the is a document showing exactly how much he made yearly. He made TONS of money from contracting for Congress people.

1 Ruck__Feddit 2017-08-22
40K is more like a starting level salary. Anyone deep in IT is making more than that.
1 gaslightlinux 2017-08-22
Right, which is why OP saying that $40K is the most he should make and questioning $160K is ridiculous.

There is also an Omar but apparently he is unrelated.

100k is about average
1 Ruck__Feddit 2017-08-22
not true.

There is people stealing data, but then is never published! Not even sent to wikileaks!
Wait and think, if you risk your life stealing data, at least leak it.
1 Killadillas 2017-08-22
Anyone who leaks data in today's world is risking their life. Seth Rich being the latest one.
1 Drewcifer419 2017-08-22

1 bannana 2017-08-22
This is one of the most ridiculous statements I've read tonight. IT, tech, programming would start around 60 or 70 average and in DC would probably be around twice that.
1 doesnotdeliver 2017-08-22
How does it compare with infidelity, pedophilia, money laundering, collusion with a foreign adversary from the sitting President, and tearing about the fabric of the United States? Is is bigger than that?
1 JournalismSureIsDead 2017-08-22
Zero evidence. The Awan scandal is something based on events that actually happened and are happening now
1 doesnotdeliver 2017-08-22
Don trump jr has already admitted to colluding with the government. Pretending there is no evidence at this point just makes you look stupid.

source
That wasn't even the slightest bit hard.
1 JournalismSureIsDead 2017-08-22
Sorry, but where's the admission of collusion? That's only admission of accepting a friend's request to meet with a Russian attorney, which, btw, is completely legal and not proof of collusion. Are you deranged?
