As a credit to specific someone, I'll be posting his pastebin ideas (he gave me them about a month ago and got removed) in one big post (this is a debut one). If he decides to return, he can take his work down at anytime, but I want to share the with you all and see your opinions on this
There is more to it than that. It is also to guilt women into believing that nurturing family has no value. That it's cool to put your infant in daycare because it is important to get back out there and grind to keep the machine turning. Then we can base home values on two incomes, while the government raises the babies.
Most feminists don't say that nurturing a family has no value. They simply say that women should not be criticized for wanting a career in the same men want a career.
No, they don't mean the same thing. Not even close. One is saying that there is no value in nurturing a family, and the other is saying women should not feel guilted into being the one to stay at home all day with the kids.
Are you speaking for most feminists? Are you saying that most feminists think that it is important, honored and valued to stay out of the workforce and concentrate on building a strong family? Because I must've missed that point in feminism 101.
Most feminists try not to say things like it is "honored and valued to stay out of the workforce" because that's often a tactic used by others to guilt women into not having careers. Feminism is about women having that choice, not about deciding what women should specifically do with their lives.
Are you saying that most feminists think that it is important, honored and valued to stay out of the workforce and concentrate on building a strong family?
I'm not sure most feminists would say that exactly, but I do think most feminists would say that they support women choosing if they want to stay out of the workforce. If you're angry that women staying home is no longer an option (or at least not an honored and valued one), blame the economy that makes it damn near impossible to raise a family on one income, not feminism.
Didn't you feel the hatred towards women while you're reading OP's link? I'd like to discuss the negative side and effects of feminism, but that writeup is a manifesto, not a conversation starter.
Why don't you go into detail about how everything in this article is false? Otherwise you are just making ad-hominen attacks against someone who has expressed their argument in a well fashioned manner. If you are unable to do so, then perhaps OP is not wrong in his assessment of the situation.
I didn't read most of it, but surprised on the lack of understanding it's getting here. There are some very clear problems with the modern feminist movement, and it was co-opted by the CIA from the start.

Feminism's Real Purpose is to give the elite more control under the disguise of empowering women.

Well... yea. They both essentially mean the same thing, only one is an easier pill to get people to swallow.

"Then we can base home values on two incomes, while the government raises the babies." Excellent point, that I haven't heard mentioned here.

...or the point of feminism could be to give women equal rights.
1 Groomper 2017-09-03
This is some straight /r/justneckbeardthings material. You can't just blame everything wrong with the world on feminism because you don't like women.

I think you've triggered someone, op...

Eh, yea I'll agree with you there.

If by "triggered" you mean "astounded as how fucking stupid this post is", then yes, I'm triggered.
1 Kolyin 2017-09-03
That's usually what "triggered" means.
