What does islam benefit from radical islamic terrorism? Nothing.
But for foreign elites it allows more control and terror over areas worldwide and it also allows destruction of any country they want to destroy.

Funny how ISIS destroys ancient Muslim history: https://duckduckgo.com/?q=isis+destroy+ancient+artifacts&t=hj&ia=web

Honestly, what do those ancient artifacts represent? I clicked several links, and nothing described what they were.
Right now, The Donald and the right in general are reeeee'ing about statues being torn down, but it is about the hate those statues commemorate, that defend or at least perpetuate and empower modern day hate..
So imagine you're in a country that doesn't get well informed news about English speaking actions.. what do you think they assume about us?
It's easy to assume things when you aren't informed enough to know the motivations.
Do I support ISIS, Muslims, or anything they do in general? No. But you aren't trying to look for context, you literally just make assumptions.
Our battle over racist idols are probably used at propaganda of why we are infidels, just like the uninformed media we get.. both just fuel hate. Neither has any realistic idea of the true motivations of the other.

I have no idea what goes on in t_d.
My main point was about how these jihadist textbooks have been reprinted as late as 2011. You speak of propaganda, well there you go, there's a very insidious example. How many people were influenced by the millions of copies that were sent in?

But you missed my point, like my main point, that was actually my counterpoint to you.. WHY. You can make theories, sure.. but the CIA is heavy on counterintelligence. Perhaps they softened up stuff, or put educational material about America.. I mean, just about every country that truly hates us, doesn't understand us, they just accept whatever propaganda they're given about us.
Again, my point, is to think critically, and rather than make assumptions of WHY they did something, think about all the possible reasons.. like manipulating what they believe.
Honestly, that's what Russia is doing to the US right now, manipulating our perspectives on social media, trying to create a bigger divide by amplifying the messages they feel will destabilize our country.
Perhaps that's what the CIA was doing, makes sense, doesn't it?

They aren't destroying Muslim history. They are destroying ancient artifacts from cultures that predate Islam. They don't want to acknowledge the existence of cultures that are non-Islamic. Read your own link.
