Yeah... You were right to leave, so why'd you come back?

Maybe it's time to leave again already... peace out.

Make me.

I don't have to... you are welcome to hang out here, but it's obviously not where you wanna be right now... so if ya just left you'd stop wasting your time.

But if ya wanna be a little crybaby and complain about how your in a place you don't wanna be... when you willingly came to that place... then yer prolly not gonna get a bunch of pity-hugs or whatever yer looking for.

I'm looking for anyone I recognize, so far nobody. They're probably all gone. Not a crime to try.

Yeah... I guess the douchebag entrance isn't the best way to make friends... all your old friends are gone to other subs... you should go try to find them.

You are really disproving the claim that you're a snowflake. This entrance was fucking TAME.

You sad that verit didn't catch on?

I don't even know what verit is... I just know you are a place you don't wanna be filled with people that don't want you here... you are free to bop around and act like a douchenozzle if ya want... but yer not gonna get too much attention for it aside from myself and a couple other folks... everyone else will just ignore it.

That's a good point to make. It used to be, if someone said some racist slurs or posted unverifiable things, they were just ignored.

Yup... and now you have a situation where one douchebag makes a shitty topic and then another douchebag comes in and talks shit about it... and now those two douchebags end up quarantined together in that shitty topic.

It's a good system to keep the douchebags from infiltrating all the other topics.

but we aren't quarantined, if either of us had anything relevant to say about any other topic we could go there and say it. I was a mod on voat's pizzagate forum for months and left because their mods were becoming insane. I used to delete the 'LETS KILL PODESTA' posts, but then mods started deleting posts that seemed to have any kind of left-leaning mentality solely because they viewed pizzagate as a 'right wing' conspiracy.

Jesus... you like voat and 4chan and then come over to reddit and complain that they got too many rules. When is summer vacation over?

I like Pol, kind of. Voat is dumb, but they suckered me in for a while before I realized.

Yeah just like reddit suckered you in... if I go over to voat will i be able to find a douchebaggy "I'm leaving, this place is a shithole." post from you?

HAHA no. I haven't been on Voat in a very long time either.

Well ya ever heard the saying "You can't go home again."? Thats what yer feeling here... you gotta just keep looking till ya find the place that is right for you... you can't just come to a huge sub and think you can bend it to what you want it to be...

LOL not what I was trying to do. Look, honestly everyone who has responded here seems cool, and I definitely see some topics I'm interested in here. I can admit I had a knee jerk reaction.

I'll stick around this time, give it a more objective analysis. So far, so good.

Now that it is outta yer system ya can start posting some more conspiracies and less complaining.

Haha omg go to Verit right now. It's amazing. Its a new site Peter The put out little memes with "verified facts". It's great because they don't know what facts are. It's dumb shit like a quote from Donna Brazile saying it wasn't Clinton's fault she lost and things of that nature. One of her campaign people made it.

Not my cup of tea... it sounds like a more retarded 4chan.

It may be funny, but it's another symptom of a big problem.

I'm reading "What Happened" and it's funny, but it's also cringey as fuck and I know people will read it and treat it as gospel so it's hard to really appreciate how funny it is.

I agree. Seems like most people were shitting on both of those immediately, but I know there are people who read those things and agree. Pretty gross.

you've been here 6 months. i don't recognize you.

Look out folks, we got a tough guy here!

I guess I was right to leave reddit.

"I was right to take that vow of silence!", cried the hypocrite.

No, I decided to make a youtube channel instead. Less censored than this place. My videos may not be ad friendly but at least they're still there.

What posts have been removed from this sub? Genuinely interested. Thanks

I'm not speaking from that kind of experience since I haven't been here ina long long time. I'm talking about the format, and how people seem to echo chamber to disprove conspiracies without research. This place used to have direct lines to /pol/ (for research) while maintaining order in a way Pol never could.

It was perfect until just before the election.

I'm talking about the format, and how people seem to echo chamber to disprove conspiracies without research.

This has always happened and I'm glad it does to a certain extend. It's called freedom, any one can post and discuss any topic for the most part. Still don't see how this makes us "Snow Flakes"? Show me another major sub that would allow a self post like yours, besides undelete of course?

This is notable but I made sure to make this post actually reflective on the state of the sub, it doesn't break the rules (unless a newmod decides it does, that rule about 'relevant self posts' is ultimately up to interpretation)

It breaks rule 12 & rule 10 imo, but I bet the mods don't care enough to remove it. Also, how would you know if it would be removed, you just came back after not being here for a while?

because the 'content/context' in self posts rule is 100% subjective and vague as fuck.

Just like most the rules on reddit, but they are barely enforce, and this post is a testament to that.

I will acknowledge that point.

Link to channel please!

What rules and mods specifically are you talking about?

Only mods I recognize are axolotl, assuredlyathrowaway nucensorship and ambig. username13 kinda rings a bell too.

and the rules I'm talking about are the 'no slurs' 'no trolling' 'no caps lock' ones.

We didn't need those rules. Posts spamming obvious slurs or obvious trolls were usually just ignored. That's all we needed.

You would rather more people scream slurs in all caps? Clearly the rule didn't pop up without a reason.

No, I'd rather those people be ignored not deleted.

It's good that we're all free to have opinions.

True, unless you type it in all caps or the mods decide your post lacks 'content' or 'context' (posts like that used to just be ignored, not deleted.)

Do you think the rules you disagree with just appeared out of thin air, or is it possible that they appeared due to userbase behavior?

"You will notice a huge influx of "racist comments" everywhere...and then comes there reason to lock down the internet."

"You will notice a huge influx of "racist comments" everywhere...and then comes there reason to lock down the internet."

A subreddit making rules isn't locking down the internet, as you are not only free to make your own sub but you are free to host any legal and protected content you wish.

He’s saying it doesn’t matter. Then we lose more by having these rules in place than we gain. Are you purposefully missing his point?

What do we lose?

The ability for us to police ourselves as much as possible. Hence, the voting system.

The voting system is still in place.

I have no problem with banning doxing. WTF does that have to do with ALL CAPS.

So then, which rules are good and which ones are bad, according to your personal belief system that we must adhere to?

There should be SOME policing. This is a matter degree. I’m not questioning the concept of moderation in general.

You don't think the all caps rule appeared because every other idiot on the sub was posting titles in all caps, do ya?

Of course every new rule is going to be a response to something that is happening?

That isn’t even a point to be made at all.

I'm confused as to what you want, then. Do you want a million posts in all caps? Because that's what will happen.

Funny how it didn’t happen for like 10 years.

Hilarious, in fact.

If people type in all caps it just makes it easier for me to know who to ignore. It doesn’t need to go beyond that.

Welp, agree to disagree then!

THIS RIGHT THERE! You don't ban, delete, hide, etc...JUST IGNORE THEM! We naturally ignore the shills and trolls anyways. This is being manufactured. You will notice a huge influx of "racist comments" everywhere...and then comes there reason to lock down the internet.

This man knows what’s up. Greet post buttwarmer333

and the rules I'm talking about are the 'no slurs' 'no trolling' 'no caps lock' ones.

So you take issues with, don't be an asshole, but talk about anything you like.

We didn't need those rules. Posts spamming obvious slurs or obvious trolls were usually just ignored. That's all we needed.

They are barely enforced, and I don't mind them.

That's great for you. I do mind them. Censorship in a conspiracy sub is a way to drive out the people who actually want to talk about conspiracies.

Censorship in a conspiracy sub is a way to drive out the people who actually want to talk about conspiracies.

Show me censorship? I know of one post removed 3 months ago, and I don't agree with it, but it's very rare. Rare enough that posts like this are clearly created to just attack the sub.

I'm just going based on the rules

And those rules basically say, "don't be an asshole" and are rarely enforced imo.

Trolling is super subjective. Obvious troll posts should be ignored. This is supposed to be a place of elevated discourse, not of petty restrictions on what can be said. It’s basically an admission that we can’t police ourselves. Maybe that’s true. I would disagree.

Thats a nice reptilian tatoo.

So are you that faggot reptilian pizzagate mod?

Uh no lol. Look, I'm not going to judge if you believe in the reptoids but...

Just no lol

which one, btw? The snake or the dragon?

It must be a very long time since you were last here as the rules have been pretty similar for around 5 years now... The fact is, as someone else has pointed out, the rules have evolved constantly to reflect the state of play on the sub. Expecting everything to stay the same on the offchance you feel like returning is the height of naivety, you presumably have no idea how much the moderating challenges and general state-of-play have evolved since you were a regular.

The elder mods you remembered from before have either moved on for their own reasons, good or bad, or somehow upset the userbase/other mods and have been removed.

Things change man, that's life.

This is the most condescending thing I’ve read all day. You didn’t tell him anything he clearly doesn’t already understand. He’s highlighting the changes as bad, not pretending they don’t exist.

But hey, why skip a chance to act superior.

You didn’t tell him anything he clearly doesn’t already understand.

So what the hell is the point of the post in your opinion? Just whining?

Maybe throwing up a flag to see if anyone else feels the same way. Trying to start gasp a discussion about it.

Considering it’s about censorship I’d think a thread like this would be totally appropriate on this sub.

It's not about censorship though IMO, it's more like 'Old Man Yells At Cloud'.

LMFAO

well, Bye.

Wait of you left reddit, how are you posting here? That's the real conspiracy!

I mean... my account was still there I just didn't use it.

welcome back I guess! :)

ayyyy

Your account history is interesting. You seem to be anti-sjw, and make profiles of Antifa terrorists, so i dig that. Is the Antifa profile videos something you make from scratch? Can you tell me more about the process?

I make the antifa profiles by compiling my research with readily available videos of said antifa terrorists.

The Daryle Jenkins vid was intended to be more divisive, but he really isn't as bad as Yvette so it kind of had kid gloves on

Word. Keep up the good work. These bastards need to be all unmasked and in jail!

I believe it's only a matter of time. Antifa could have kept playing this game, but their ranks got antsy and now they're doing more violent shit than their parents' legal teams can cover up.

It's almost like they weren't expecting a DOJ run by anyone other than their handlers ;)

Yes, well said

And also thank you.

OP's user history goes back 201 days. The subreddit rules haven't changed in that time.

Yeah because no one has more than one reddit account

Then how do you know all your friends aren't still here, just under different accounts? And they just don't like your whinny post so aren't talking to you

I also don't believe in rule 10. But yoos a liar.

You are really disproving the claim that you're a snowflake. This entrance was fucking TAME.
