National Anthem Removal
3 2017-09-24 by skinschamps2000
In order to calm all of the rhetoric and issues that the media are using to keep people from watching what is really going on I notice that none of the Sports League are banning the playing it before their games. Since there is no law stating that the National Anthem should be played before sporting events, it became a tradition out of the 1918 World Series and after WWII, I wonder if the leagues are puppets for TPTB to help keep discord in the country.

Thanks for being so kind. I also notice you can use contractions. When you get a chance to graduate 3rd grade by the time you are 20 maybe instead of making a stupid statement you might create a coherent(that means smart, thought out) response to how you came to that conclusion. Or maybe you forgot you were on conspiracy and thought you were on post you're and idiot subreddit.

Coherent does not mean smart by the way

Definition of coherent
1 a :logically or aesthetically ordered or integrated :consistent coherent style a coherent argument b :having clarity or intelligibility :understandable
Intelligent=smart

So understandable = smart?

Sorry, you said coherent does not mean smart, I disproved that. If you want an understanding of the English language and its usage of words, I suggest a local college course.
1 urbanmoose 2017-09-24
I don't think language works how you think it works....
1 skinschamps2000 2017-09-24
and I think you are ticked I disproved your initial statement and are now trying to switch the subject. I believe you are the one not understanding how words work.

Oh you got me there friend!

Just because something is able to be understood does not make it intelligent. I mean maybe by your standards it does, but to me it doesn't. Plenty of people say stupid shit all the time, but it's coherent.

I have always though it stupid to play the national anthem for sports events, WTF does patriotism have to do with athletic abilities and competition for money?
It always made me cringe and want to kind of shrink up and disappear and may be why I don't like athletic events. I know I have to endure the cringe inducing National Anthem, it is like public prayers which go beyond cringe level to gag level..

This is a thought out and cogent response. Thanks. And I agree

People of your nation are playing sports within your nation, displaying strength and ability. Something perhaps worth being proud and patriotic about.
1 SauceOrSass 2017-09-24
Why do you believe athletics are linked to nationalism?
1 fowuhhmcoe 2017-09-24
Strength, speed, agility, ability, ideas tied to pride and global prowess. When you see these things, you see the greatness of the people of your nation.
I think there has been some concentrated effort to skew the concept of nationalism towards some form of racism, which is absolutely fucking insane, makes me want to puke.

lol I bet you support the Russian invasion.
1 fowuhhmcoe 2017-09-24
Support the Russian invasion?! What Russian invasion!?
1 SauceOrSass 2017-09-24
chalk it up to hyperbole

They didn't say intelligent.....

I consider myself patriotic and would agree the Anthem should not be played at sporting events anymore unless it's a country v country competition. And if they protest that then don't represent your country. If someone tries this at the Olympics they should be stripped of medals imo.

Didn't the football teams used to sit in the locker rooms until after the anthem at one point? It appears around 2009 the DOD started paying NFL and other sport genres to have them honor the military. Looks like it even came out of our tax dollars for this drama.
The real question is why would the government/military do this yet we have homeless vets, vets that don't receive enough post military healthcare, vets that don't receive enough funding for school, and young men sent to fight rich man's wars not for freedom for of this country. Why do American sports need paid patrtiotic propaganda if our military is so good for us?

You sound like Will McAvoy

I like it. We do have some real problems in this country and you would think we would care about them more than which of our football players are kneeling or standing before a game.

You are correct, whil a person is smart, people are dumb. And the masses have had nearly 80 years of TV "PROGRAMMING" put in their heads. Most do not think for themselves they eat right from the plate they are given. They don't think about how Charlottesville was a huge thing just weeks ago, where did that go? Ferguson? Sandy Hook? and on and on. Whatever the Rothchilds and Illuminati want somehow the masses follow. They read 1984 as fiction, while those of us outside the matrix know it as non fiction and very very true.
