Globalism is really just supposed to be the removal of trade barriers (tarrifs), relaxed immigration policies and coherent international laws. Ideally it would mean you could buy what you want (except illegal things of course) from who you want, and live where ever you want with minimal governemnt interference. Obviously we dont live in an ideal world so things like poverty, cultural differences and unfriendly relationships between nations causes quite a bit of friction.

A lot of people accuse corporations and governments of exploiting trade agreements and immigration policies to enrich themselves at the expense of others which is a totally fair criticism in my opinion.
