It doesn't make sense

Per the new timeline-

10:12pm- first two officers arrive on 31st floor

10:15pm- last shots are fired by Paddock

10:17pm- first two officers arrive on 32nd floor

10:18pm- Security Officer shot in foot tells LVMPD exactly where Paddock is

Here's what I don't understand- Paddock had two cameras in the hall and every intention of escaping. He sees the Security Guard in the hall and fires 200 rounds into the hallway injuring the Security Officer in the foot. So after that Paddock decides to stay in the room and kill himself rather than face 1 unarmed and injured Security Guard. Why? This doesn't add up.

What makes you say he has every intention of escaping?

Sheriff confirmed he did at tonight's press conference

The MiB had him shook.

Maybe he was but not from police?

Thanks, I didn't know that

Maybe he was behaving irrationally.

Certainly that's the only explanation, but then why fire 200 rounds into the hallway and then stop when the person you're firing at is injured? Why is there no mention of anyone hearing Paddocks gunshot to the head? Why set surveillance in the hallway and leave your door ajar?

It's bizarre.

indeed completely irrational.

Well now don't jump to conclusion/s.

Nope it doesn't. Very basically speaking, if as we're told he intended to escape, why didn't he attempt to escape?

I am not yet convinced he was alone in the room. Another basic fact: there are 2 windows broken. Why would he need 2 vantages for himself? At that distance the 2 windows would provide only the slightest difference in regards to the target, maybe a few degrees of angle.

I think it's possible there were 2 in the room, the other killed Paddock and made the escape. Purely hypothetical, though.

He had two separate targets I bet. Maybe he was planning to put the tannerite to use but he couldn't shoot it.

I was under the impression that all the explosive materials were found in the garage of his home in Mesquite. Did you read something that said he had explosive materials in his hotel room?

The sheriff mentioned in tonight's briefing that they found 50 lbs of tannerite in Paddock's car at Mandalay (valet, I think). Also, here.

One window in line with the concert site, the other with a direct view of the fuel tanks. [Diagram]

Very interesting. But from an unnamed source. And I'm having a hard time understanding why he'd break out a window and only fire 2 bullets at them.

still wondering if his plan was to escape how that would be feasible after killing 60 people from your own hotel room. Probably first step is go a floor up, shoot those people in their suite and use that room.

I thought the security guard was killed? Yeah, I read that a security guard was shot; as of now I don't know wtf to believe.

I'm not sure Paddock killed himself & how do we know it was a "real" security guard that was shot?

It was a real security guard. His name is Jesus Campos.

I'm saying the circumstances surrounding this do not make sense. Not that he isn't real.

I'm saying the circumstances surrounding this do not make sense.

It makes no sense at all.

I mean I agree.

You're right--it makes no sense. Nothing fits together.

This whole thing makes no sense... and I just watched the brother interview.. man what the fuck is going on?

I think the fuel tank thing is really interesting: Cause he was aiming at the fuel tanks: https://www.reddit.com/r/conspiracy/comments/74da7k/lv_shooter_shot_up_nearby_fuel_tanks

Especially this diagram that shows how one of his two broken windows is in line with the concert site and the other with a direct view of the fuel tanks.

So he starts by shooting at the crowd, killing as many as he can while driving all the others back toward the airport. Once there's a critical mass by the fuel tanks, start shooting them up hoping for an explosion to kill as many runners possible. Makes sense.

Now let's say the security guard shows up on the floor as he's aiming at the fuel tanks. He shoots through the door at the security guard and then never fires another shot. Why not continue aiming for the fuel tanks at that point? It's all very odd.

That's a really good point. Instead he offs himself or waits for an hour and then offs himself. All this while having tons of ammunition at his disposal.

With all the knowledge the guy has about guns, and knowing he's also a pilot, shouldn't he have known you can't blow up jet fuel tanks with bullets?

None of this makes sense. It's so bad pretty much everyone is questioning what really happened. This seems like a very botched establishment operation.

I don't think for a second this was how it was planned to go. Something went wrong here and I'm starting to become a big believer in the undercover FBI/ISIS gun runner theory.

What makes you think he intended on escaping? My thinking this entire time was that he planned on suicide and decided go go out with a bang.

Same. But some reporter asked in tonight's briefing if there was any evidence that would suggest Paddock intended to come out of this alive, to survive or escape in any way. Sheriff said yes. When asked what the evidence was, he said he couldn't say.

Lombardo said exactly this tonight that he had every intention of carrying out a plan past the hotel room.

because the security guard killed paddock and staged a suicide and then self shot himself to play innocent. security guard one of the shooters.

paddock could have been the other one or patsy

Paddock supposedly had cameras in hallway, how does security guard manage to get shot only once? He did it
