Paddock's Death
27 2017-10-07 by Pdotdot
On Monday I was watching CNN coverage of the Vegas shootings and remember this clearly.
CNN reporter Martin Savidge said on air that he had learned that Paddock did not commit suicide but that he charged at police and was killed. One police officer was shot but survived.
This was never mentioned again. I can't find any other mention of this online. I can't find footage from Monday but I know what I heard him say.

Martin Savage is a hack reporter who is bitter he is not the anchor of a show. I’m pretty sure you can chalk it up to this.

They're news reporters, not clairvoyants

It wasn't just on CNN Fox News was running this story as well on Monday during their Fox and Friends segment and on Fox Business Maria Bartaromo and Stuart Varney.

Does anyone have a recording of it?
And if so, is the news always completely accurate? You can’t cherrypick info just because it fits your theory. With that being said, it would be interesting if both Fox AND CNN reported the same thing.

This was before all the facts were out. There wasn't a lot of clarity even 24 hours after the fact. It was later confirmed it was a security guard who first located the room and was shot through the door then retreated and alerted the police. They showed up then called in SWAT who breached the room about an hour later to find the suspect dead via suicide.
Sorry but it was just unreliable sources/confusion that caused this to be aired as fact initially.

I think you have it backwards. The media that comes out first is usually right in these instances, especially when the media is the police scanner.

Reported live in Australia that way as well.

There are no 'reporters' anymore. They don't fact check anything. It's click bait salesmen trying to get viewers/ratings. Literally if you ran up to a reporter 30 mins after the shooting started, they'd believe fucking ANYTHING you told them. Worst case, they just dont mention it again.
People think picking apart shitting reporting, picking apart press conferences by people not really trained at fielding questions from reporters and sticking to facts vs what they suspect, is not really a conspiracy theory. It's the chaotic 24 hr news cycle that rushes anything remotely believable to air just to get a few views.
Somehow that equates the govt or secret organization trying to dupe us. It's just a crazy situation and bad reporting.
